Top performance from the lad but for goodness sake Eden, just shoot next time rather than trying to pass to a teammate and walk the ball into the back of the net! It's funny how Hazard has always said the need to score more and yet, he doesn't do that enough when he's presented with the chances. Always trying to set up someone else when he could have gone for himself. It's not like he's rubbish at finishing.

Stating the obvious but that was a HUGE win against West Ham. Massive 3 points especially after we only played the final on Sunday. Really not sure how did we not concede from all those West Ham onslaughts. Got lucky on several occasions but then again, we had just as many chances to score as well. Just can't believe by our lack of decisiveness in the final third. Almost flipped the table at that late Willian shot when Hazard chose to pass it instead. Overall, it wasn't pretty but that might have been one of our better showings in 2015. We looked a threat going forward (with the exception of not finishing chances) and actually dug deep to grind out the result.

And people seem to forget that we still had to go to Everton on the final day while United played Blackpool at OT.

United only drew at Blackburn because they just needed a point from that game to seal the title. If you watched the game back then, you could see there wasn't really any urgency to go for the win, which they would have shown it had they needed the three points, even after falling behind in the first half. After they got the equaliser, they were just passing the ball around to run down the clock.

I do agree that Ancelotti can't be faulted for everything that went wrong in the 2010/11 season but as Tomo pointed out, he was found wanting when we had that major slump and not to mention, at times, he can be quite tactically stubborn/clueless as well. Had a chance to win the Champions League that season? Are you serious? We were uninspiring throughout that campaign and didn't even look like a contender for the title.
