You forgot to mention, Ancelotti, the man who supposedly knows how to handle a crisis because of UCL titles, didn't even lead us to the final. Furthest he got us was the QFs!
-
Not really. If you are away at a Pulis' team, then yes, it'll be difficult. But when they are on the road? It'll be easier. People seem to have forgotten that while his Stoke team was tough at the Britannia, they were almost non-existent away from home.

If Ancelotti becomes available, then I wonder if United would look to replace Van Gaal with him...
-
Worh noting that in the next 2 matchweeks, City will play their game first before us.

Slightly random but was rather impressed with Fabregas in the presser earlier. Had some tricky questions and he handled them quite well.
-
Errr, no. We played them at the Bridge back in October (IIRC). We won 2-0, with Hazard and Costa scoring. Remember??? Whether we need 9 points from those 3 games will depend on what happen in the four games before that. We have Southampton (H), Hull (A), Stoke (H) and QPR (A). City have Burnley (A), West Brom (H), Palace (A) and United (A).

Not exactly his fault that United paid 30m for him when his worth is much lower than that. The idea of judging a player solely based on the transfer fee is kinda silly.
-
Let's see what happens with the next four games first. The results will affect our mindset heading into those matches. Nope. The Arsenal game is at the Emirates. The other two are at home.

Eight months into his first season at a big club and people are already jumping on his back. Typical. That's without even mentioning he's only 19 and was bought for the future.
-
Considering Allegri plays with a diamond midfield at times, Mata might well fit in. Never mind building the team around him, just play him at CAM and his performances are likely to improve a lot. It's been ages since he last played there.
-
Funnily enough, that motivation and determination went AWOL in the derby against Dortmund recently.
-
Not sure what was more surprising - Schalke playing the way they did OR them coming close to overturning Madrid. On the other hand, what is with Ancelotti and (nearly) throwing away leads in the Champions League? There was Milan v Deportivo, Milan v Liverpool and Dortmund v Madrid last season where they almost threw away a 3-0 first leg lead in Germany.

Yeah but Rodriguez was doing better consistently with Monaco that time than Oscar is right now with us. Moreover, you can see the qualities Rodriguez have but Oscar? Even most of our fans agree that he's not great at anything and is a jack of all trades.

That graphic was done before the West Ham game. See the number of appearances. We've played 27 games and Terry has featured in every one of them. He picked up his first league booking of the season in that West Ham match - he fouled Valencia early on.
-
With the way Oscar has been performing, why on earth would a club like Real Madrid want to buy him?!

Arsenal Fan TV went bonkers last night.

Not exactly his fault that Real Madrid forked out 100m for him. Like the two of you said, he's nowhere worth near 100m. At most 50m.

Brainfart.

Watched the Lazio-Fiorentina game earlier and Salah was perhaps unlucky not to score on 1-2 occasions. But my word, Fiorentina were truly abysmal. Blunt in attack and the defence was all over the place every time Lazio attacked. Hopeless performance.

Pogba doesn't do easy goals, does he? Scored a very good volley against Sassuolo earlier.

Maybe but numbers are not everything and Bale was doing alright before the turn of the year. The Madrid fans booing him just because he decided to shoot rather than pass is pretty silly and petty as well. It's one thing having high expectation but it's another going OTT with it and that's probably the reason why Madrid won't ever have stability at the club. Almost every little bad thing is blown out of proportion.

Watching Di Maria play for United this season, can't help but to think that it's quite funny how some of the younger players Mourinho allowed to leave in his career have gone on to flourish elsewhere while some of the more notable players he left or allowed to leave have flopped somewhat, be it at that club or another.
