  1. When you consistently watch the likes of Oscar, Willian etc doing the same rubbish thing on the pitch every time, you can't help but to wonder 'what on earth do these players do in training?!'. We keep on seeing the same deficiencies every week and there's like no improvement at all!
  2. Harsh to compare Luiz with Fabregas or anyone else for that matter. Every player is different and sometimes, some players channel their passion in a more aggressive manner. Just Fabregas isn't like Luiz, doesn't mean he doesn't have the heart.
  3. Quite concerned by the number of silly goals we've given away from corners of late - Bradford, Aston Villa, Burnley and PSG. We already aren't scoring many and to concede such pathetic goals only compound matters further.
  4. To be fair, it doesn't help when the players have a tendency to produce brainfart decisions with their final passes and/or have poor technique/control of the ball to screw up the counter attacks.
  5. That's 6 goals and 2 assists now in 9 appearances for Fiorentina.
  6. To be fair, Kalou had a knack of scoring goals for us and sometimes important ones too. Same goes for Ramires, at least 2-3 years ago. Still more than what Willian has provided in terms of finding the back of the net.
  7. The lack of goals is becoming a concern of late...
  8. Oscar definitely hasn't developed the way we thought he would. But you gotta wonder, how much have all the matches he's played since 2011 (or 2012?) affected his physical and mental health? He's basically been playing football nonstop for the past few years without taking any break away from the game.
  9. I blame the person who came up with the idea of playing Ramires at RW. It's been sticking ever since we played him there at Wolves in January 2012!
  10. The reaction of Carragher, Souness etc to our supposedly physical approach in the game yesterday was ridiculous and blown out of proportion. You would think that we had murdered someone on the pitch out there with the way they were calling us disgraceful, awful and all that. What we did was hardly anything worse than what other teams had done to us in the previous matches and nothing was said then. Pathetic.
  11. The criticism about Mourinho is indeed fine but the main issue here is that the same people always complain about the same old things every single time we get a bad result. That's not to say their points are wrong or anything like that, not at all but when they are being constantly repeated over and over and over again, then it feels as though some fellas like it more when we don't win than when we win.
  12. Considering that he used to do that for us and to our advantage, don't think we have the right to moan about it. In fact, think most of us enjoyed it when he trolled the opposing teams.
  13. Dear oh dear. If only they had watched their player and not the ball. At that point, both didn't even know who was around them anymore. Farcical defending.

  15. Still bitterly disappointed and feeling furious about the result and performance. To be knocked out of the competition is one thing but to be knocked out without even putting an effort, making the opposition earn it is absolutely despicable. The fact that the players displayed more energy and hunger in fighting with the PSG players rather than taking the game to them says it all. Forget all the nonsense about parking the bus, playing defensive bullshit etc. It's such a lazy excuse and cliche to use when we play badly in one of the these big games. The main thing is, did we even actually have a plan on how to play the second leg? It's like after getting a 1-1 draw in the first leg, we had no idea whether to go for the kill or sit back and hit them on the break. In the end, we did neither and looked absolutely clueless and hopeless at both ends. Hardly created any chance all game and the Ramires shot in the 80th minute (or so) was the only notable chance. Defensively, we were getting passed around like nobody's business and at times even allowed PSG to go all the way into our box without any challenge. Absolutely farcical. What's worse is that, we had a FULL week to prepare for this game and that was what we came up with?! Just what on earth did we do in training? Both Mourinho and the players are completely at fault here. The former for coming up with a plan that got us nowhere. Didn't even change anything before and especially after the red card. The players for their spineless performance. No doubt the manager is responsible to fire them up before a game but if they can't even motivate themselves for a Champions League match, then they've got issues. It's infuriating that we did nothing in the entire 120 minutes and were almost waiting for PSG to 'hit us in the face'. If we don't win the Premier League come May, then this season would be a complete failure!

  18. All that missing was their final ball. Otherwise, they had a tad too much space going forward and passed around the players too easily. We couldn't even string like 4-5 good passes offensively. Kept on losing the ball so cheaply.
  19. Poor first half to say the least. Never mind the red card and stonewall penalty, we barely created any chances. PSG looked the more likely to score.
  20. Clearly it's @OneMoSalah and @Liquidator.
  21. Another example and better judgment of success - 3 league titles in 20 years of management. You might say his time at Chelsea and PSG was short but only 1 league triumph in 8 years with Milan? That's poor for a manager of his standard. OR I could easily turn around and say Ancelotti is overrated. Hardly anyone here has said he's a bad manager. He's just not THAT great like you are making him out to be.
  22. How Kurt Zouma flew under the radar of French champions PSG to end up at Stamford Bridge
  23. Because the idea of saying a manager knows how to handle a crisis purely based on Champions League titles is nonsense.
