  1. Zolayes did, probably by virtue of being the funniest member here. Some going for someone who's over 70
  2. And you thought I was bad at maths It's a world of difference. They can actually have money to spend on philanthropic causes, or if you're feeling cynical, they can buy themselves a bigger house and better car.
  3. My name isn't supposed to make me Italian! It is a musical style characterised by its light hearted, whimsical, lively and free manner. Which I thought was a pretty good description of my personality.
  4. You really didn't know? Wow, I thought everyone knew; I'm half Indian-Sri Lankan. Well we may as well get all the nasty shocks out of the way, I'm also Catholic. Don't tell me you're Indian as well
  5. Hilarious . Like he'll ever feel the urge to join Barcelona of all clubs, thats as preposterous as him joining Arsenal. Here's an article from an English newspaper: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-striker-didier-drogba-has-been-813690
  6. I wish him the best! Make Roma a force in Italian football again! After Napoli, that is
  7. Thread about a Japanese player gets diverted into a discussion of Japanese comics
  8. Noo It is central to my posts. I can't let two posts go by without inserting a trollface.
  9. @TheRisingSun. Your arguement is invalid. We just had 2 consecutive winners of Indian heritage
  10. I can bear the misfortunes of the English national team with great fortitude But yeah, if Terry's not captain it'll be a shambles. Well, less of a shambles than it would be with Gerrard as captain as England will probably bomb out in the group stage or scrap their way to the knockouts before getting smashed by Germany/Holland/Spain.
  11. To be fair, all Sturridge did that I noticed during the QPR game was take that long shot. Now thats great, you scored a great goal, well done; but that one flash of inspiration isn't enough to say he's back in form.
  12. Nice. But I'll still say that our former Anelkalouda was the best portmanteau made by football fans
  13. Stamford Bridge. There's your whole trip sorted
  14. Haha, its okay you still have great sprinters in your history like Jean-Paul van Poppel
  15. Fair enough, but we're better fans than them so we don't have to stoop to their levels
  16. No need to be so arrogant. We'd at best beat them 2-0. They have some pretty good CL quality players in there as well.
  17. To be fair, Stoke do what they have to to survive. They're a well run club with some very passionate fans, I don't find any fault with them at all. Fair play to them for staying up so long, though perhaps they could be a bit more entertaining at times.
  18. It annoys me as well... maybe I was your English teacher They'll use literally anything as an excuse. It's never the teams fault or the manager's fault.
  19. I'm very sorry TX, I'll have to go with Strike this month.
  20. In his defence, he has a pretty solid record at international level. Did very well with Switzerland and almost got minnows Finland to EURO 2008.
  21. Made all the better that Salomon is coming on
  22. We had probably the best midfield in the world. Ballack, Essien and Lampard, with Makelele on the bench. World beaters.
  23. Not everyone was born in 1939 like you, Ron Ballack was brilliant though, didn't he win a couple of Bundesligas and Deutsche Pokal's at Bayern?
