  1. @, Irn-Bru is a Class A drug manufactured and sold in Scotland. In consists primarily of sugar, artificial flavouring, sugar, more artificial flavouring, sugar, a pinch of artificial flavouring, and sugar. It was designed by health experts in 1901 to get Scotsmen off their arses to do anything except drink. A study released by John Perkins in 1992 determined that Irn-Bru is the leading cause of obesity in Scotland, greater even than influence from the far west or lack of physical activity. Perkins' study noted that since the introduction of Irn-Bru in 1901, obesity rates in Scotland have risen by 76 people.[1] The Scottish Parliament refused to act on this information, since Perkins was English and therefore completely biased against them. All young Scots suffer an indoctrination to Irn-Bru at the age of five (or thirteen for Scottish Jews). Their parents present them with a six-pack of heavy-dutyIrn-Bru and force them to drink it. This single event causes most children a life of addiction to everything pertaining to Irn-Bru. These unfortunate people, called Bru addicts by everyone else, die young, and have a much harder time finding a girlfriend.[2] (Experts have determined that this is the sole cause of Scotland's underpopulation problem.[3]) They are also much more likely to develop addictions to other solely Scottish things, likebagpipes, kilts, and the water of life. Several campaigns were launched against the production of Irn-Bru to stop the addicts from getting their daily dose, but nobody listened. On top of that, the leader of this movement, William Wallace, was revealed to have been a Bru addict himself. Irn-Bru has been clinically proven to increase a Scotsman's likeliness to commit a number of felonies, among them thievery, murder, and rape, but usually all three. An overdose of Irn-Bru is a Scotsman's most common defense for these offences. Due to the population's lack of desire to drink anything but Irn-Bru (non-alcoholic, anyway), all soft drink companies, including and not limited to the Coca Cola Company, have pulled out of Scotland. On the global market scale, this might not have that big of an impact... okay, so it has the economic potential of Timbuktu.
  2. Thierry Henry at his peak, for example. Any number of big West African strikers/midfielders. Essien during his best days wasn't that much slower than Ronaldo, significantly stronger and possessed far better stamina as well.
  3. It was a manic decision to strip him of the captaincy when it was clear after the first time he was stripped that Terry is by far the best leader in England. Gerrard and Ferdinand were pretty shit as captains. Their personal form suffered, as well.
  4. What are you talking about? There are many players faster, stronger, harder working, better aerially (all in one package, as well) players than Ronaldo.
  5. Just ban him or let him go already. Why waste time?
  6. All of our pre-game chat in the media was emphasising that Jordan were vastly different to other West Asian teams and that was what made them such a threat. We can't deal with long balls in the heat when we've spent all our time in Asia chasing after mini-Spain's.
  7. Lol you can say what you like it doesn't change the fact that today's elite professionals are all physique and no technique. Just look at what the Jabulani did to them. Do you have the mental capacity to recognise that its far easier to win a European title than a World Cup? I doubt it.
  8. My Dell struggles even if I play FM on it. The fan is pretty ordinary, the computer gets so hot even if I run too many applications at the same time! For gaming purposes I usually use my desktop. It's hardly a gaming PC but I'm not afraid of its fan exploding if I work it hard
  9. Haha, he's not a footballer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muttiah_Muralitharan
  10. As far as skill goes, Diego Maradona is the most talented player of all time and the likes of Messi and Ronaldo have half the brilliance of Maradona with the ball at their feet.
  11. 21/22 for the CL quiz. Didn't get PSV's 1988 triumph. I maintain that the best CL wins ever were by Red Star Belgrade (@Sh0n3x, ) and Steaua Bucharest. They remain by far the smallest clubs to win it, amazing feats.
  12. Jordan are a quality team, actually. I'd rate them the 5th or 6th best team in the AFC, and playing away in the Middle East in summer is a bitch. We still should have gotten a point, considering we're the third best team in Asia. Mind, the Socceroo's are piss and wind these days. The golden generation is over and we're going to plunge back into a decade of mediocrity wishing we could play American Samoa every week.
  13. Its even worse when you consider that all but 2 Spanish clubs earn a pittance compared to even relegation battlers in other leagues like the Bundesliga or the Premier League. They have literally no chance of ever 'moving progressively' with their debt. If they do that then they will be spending so little on their players, they'll be packed full of random journeymen, youth and other shit players. They'll be awful in Europe, the whipping boys in every group stage of the CL they qualify for.
  14. I'm not a terrorist sympathiser. Khyber Pass? Sure, use predator drones there where the only civilian might be a goatherd. Miranshah, a village of 14,000? No. Also I acknowledged (or perhaps didn't, but I never bundled his name alongside Bush with regards to the Bay) that Obama shouldn't be charged over the Bay as he is fixing up the system. What he should be looked at is the use of drones in civilian areas. It's an insane approach, akin to shooting fish in a barrel in the hope that there might be a terrorist hiding down there somewhere.
  15. No, President Wilson for example was no war criminal. Neither was Roosevelt, and Truman, I'll let him get away with nuking the Japanese as in a perverse way, he saved Japan from ruin by nuking them. Churchill was no war criminal either. There's been a massive shift in the way the US has conducted its wars since the Vietnam War.
  16. We won the Champions League. As things stand, both Spurs and Inter are in the same tournament, with Spurs still looking the better side.
