  1. What an idiot I am. I thought it would automatically play when you opened the profile, I didn't realise there was a little box that had to be clicked first
  2. TX has no idea he's currently the front runner for MoM. It will be hilarious when he wakes up and comes on TC and notices that his profile info has been changed to golden colours
  3. I just went on your profile and nothing happened? Cool feature nonetheless. Well done Jim
  4. Stupid fat girl. 70 kg travelling at 40-50 km an hour (not sure if you slow down while in inertia. Can a physics expert confirm?) landing on an area that's not well protected by layers of fat and muscle hurts
  5. Whoa! That post-to-reputation ratio is insane!
  6. I thought this was a nice forum. He must have been some delinquent in his early posting days to fall foul of someone as nice as BlueLion. Inb4 BlueLion rigs the vote
  7. I'll give this a bump. I speak English as my first language, Tamil (a Southern Indian language) and German with reasonable fluency, and I can just about garble out a few words of Sinhalese (a Sri Lankan language). Also I'm thinking about taking Italian next semester at uni, for no other reason than to be able to post better on the Napoli forum
  8. Fairly prosaic for me. I was 8 and watched the 2002 World Cup, and I loved it. Turkey were brilliant, Oliver Kahn and Ronaldo were out of this world. I'm not entirely sure why I supported Chelsea though. Perhaps I liked the lion motif on our crest. I can't really remember Just out of curiosity, have any of the nominated posters won MoM before? I would be extremely surprised if TX and Ollie hadn't been nominated a few times.
  9. We did, but now that we've lost that's all we can hope for.
  10. Not really. 1000 people seen over 60 days in a country with a population well over 1 billion isn't much. Apparently football is the number one sport in certain areas of the country, but for the most part, cricket overshadows it hugely.
  11. He did have to play an immensely strong side in Egypt in the first losing final, though. I reckon we could have seen the first African WC semi finalist if Egypt had qualified for the Germany World Cup. So organised, they were pretty good in the 2009 Confederations Cup as well, from memory they beat Italy and gave Brazil a run for their money, but messed it all up by getting smashed by the Americans.
  12. Well said. I think his general personality is better suited to being the big fish in the small pond, so he should be perfect for England. If Villas-Boas, who was/is an awful man manager, can keep him happy, surely Di Matteo can. To be fair, QPR was just a speculative smash at goal. He's been trying that for a while.
  13. Is it just me or has everything become bolded? Edit: Never mind. All fixed now
  14. I wouldn't know. Born and raised in Australia, and my parents have lived here since they were about 20. When I last visited India there were a few Chelsea shirts, I probably saw 1000 people or so wearing any football shirt at all in the 2 months I was over there. I've never seen anyone in Sri Lanka wearing a football shirt, though.
  15. There should be an Indian supporter's group. There's probably more Indian posters here than there are Aussie's.
  16. I'll give you those, but he's not very versatile- he clearly loathes not playing as a striker, and he is very predictable. Cut inside, shoot. Stay wide, shoot.
  17. The thing about a player like him is that he offers absolutely nothing but goals. Now that's fantastic, but if they dry up, he's a waste of space.
  18. That's what an upbringing in Western Sydney brings you, as me and KonohasOrangeFlash can testify. Us Westies are a bit overexposed to bogans
  19. I really hope Newcastle come third. It would be so harsh if they came 4th and we won the Champions League.
  20. Ah, shame, it always seems to happen to youngsters these days. It's not doing his England chances any good, surely he cares about representing his country? Yeah, we should really forget the Anfield match and send out an under-18s or reserve team. Who cares if we lose 6-0, it doesn't matter anymore.
  21. I didn't watch the game, I take it Sturridge was pants? He's really been awful since about December, the QPR game was basically him just getting lucky with that shot and using that goal as a reason to be able to start today.
  22. It's an Australian thing. It's pretty tedious around here in winter so there's nothing to do but head to the pub I'm pretty annoyed. Some stupid, fat girl was standing behind me on the bus and wasn't holding onto a pole. The bus came to a sudden halt and I had 70 kilograms (a conservative estimate) thrown directly onto my shoulder. That was in the morning and it's still sore. What's worse is that she didn't even apologise. How rude is that?
