All the press/fans targets you mean. Cause as far as Chelsea goes, I have not seen nothing official. Not unlike it was with Schurrle or Van Ginkel.
-
So he went from a trying to leave England to wanting to play in the champions League? The guy just want out plain and simple. And to be fair he might even consider Chelsea as we got history of dealing with people with problems, in terry and Cole. Not to mention we got Mourinho.
-
It's called reality! Extreme pessimism will be if we do worse then Benitez last season like finishing outside of top 4.
-
The coach, and some upgrade. I think Fernandinho is better then Gareth Berry. Navas better then any option that Sinclair can give them. Oh yeah, we have not beat them at all last season. And before you say, "oh we got Mourinho back" that ain't enough when you got a squad that still needs to mature! So combine that with the young squad Chelsea has, we really have no shout for serious contender. Last season was a one horse race, where United blew everyone out by so many points. I will expect it will be the reverse where City blow everyone away, and us and United fighting for second and third. And as Mourinho said, by his second season his team will be better. Just like at Madrid where he won la Liga his second season. I will be expecting the same here, nothing big his first season but much better second season.

That does not makes sense, how do they know that Chelsea refuse to sell at that price unless it was rejected? And nowhere it says it was rejected, if indeed the bid was true.....
-
But in 2004 we spend a shit load of money on players ready to compete. We now got a team of a lot of younger players, who some still need time to gel. This time is different.
-
Is he good enough? I mean if he is even close to the quality of Moses, then he could stay here. But then again, we might have a lot of players right now in his position.
-
I'm still interested in seeing if he continues with the style of play. We have been playing some attractive football last season, so if he can continue that then great. Also if he can approach the situation of strikers better. Like no favoritism to Torres! I still don't expect us to do that great this season. At best I would think we finish second in the PL, and maybe a Capital One Cup or FA Cup to the mix. I would also like to get to the Quarter Finals of the CL this new season. So no big expectations for me even though we have Mourinho back. The squad the club is building still needs time to be at it's peak. Just like Mourinho said it will take a season or two.

Clearly City will be number one contenders for the PL this season. The team they have and the players they are buying shows they want instant success. While Chelsea buys is showing a willingness to wait till the players mature of full potential.

People post the same stuff over again. At least look 2 or 3 pages back before posting.

KDB reminds me of those white boys that try to act so tough. Like this:

So I got a question. When you guys go out somewhere your town/city do you guys use any type of app that helps you navigate your way? Obviously first question, is that your not familiar with the place so you use an app, like hotspot or such. And second do these programs work great in your country? Like I love using google map, as I don't like the simplicity that hotspot gives you. Put the address and gives you precise details. I prefer to look at the google map and plan my way to get there. Weather it is by walking, or using a subway/bus to get to the station close by. What I'm most curious is if apps like google map are easy to use in different parts of the world? Thank you!

I'm not sure if mention, but I was told this appointment was highly influence by Emanolo. Well that is the rumor I heard, and since Benitez always said he spoke to Emanolo it might make senses. Anyways, with RDM we play great, but there was a great imbalance from offence to defense. Something which Cech stated at one time. I also think the hostile environment that the club was in was not good for the coach nor the players. Again something the players mention. If you take into account this, with the thin squad we had it was always going to be hard. But despite all that, Benitez took it on the chin and continue with his work. A mark of a great professional. After all is said and done he did a decent job. And has left the squad in a better environment then when he first came in, thus as you mention making it easier for the new incoming manager.

Just like the Hulk Saga. Many people said it from the beginning, but some did not wanted to listen. Now I will expect to hear some mercenary cunt, wasting his career and such name calling pretty soon from bitter fans.
-
They been watching too much Game of Thrones!
-
I'm not gay or anything, I actually got a girlfriend but I have to say our team is looking sexy in the perspective of guys. This gives a great marketability for girls in buying posters of the players and shirts.

When Ba scores, he does not goes to the cameras and talks crap. When Torres scores, he goes to the press and acts like he's all that. For the team and how Mourinho is, Ba is better choice then Torres. Torres another prima dona that requires a lot of attention. Don't want that and don't need that no more in the team.
-
I think Mourinho said he wanted to build something for a long time and take the challenge of younger players. As in the past 3 teams he has been the man that buys the player and get an instant fix. Here he is expecting to be working for a couple of years. In short, this year another transition season. Even with the great Mourinho don't expect to win much this season.
-
That's what I thought about Moses..... So if someone like Moses can get time, then the main point is that If you have some quality you will get time. But if your piss poor like Marin you get shit!
-
Yeah this guy is class, and Porto got another gem. Very soon he will be going for 30 mill or such. Why didn't we just buy him and loan him to Porto?
-
They will also play some awesome football. We play really great with him, and then all went to shit when we left our squad thin. We all that money that Real Madrid got, Carlo can build a dynasty! I see him as giving them their decima.
-
Sunderland trying to get Altidore. He has improve a lot since his time in the PL a couple of season back. I think he will be a good buy for any decent team. Not top team like Chelsea, or City, but he might do good at a team like Tottenham, Arsenal Swansea and such.
-
He has a couple of good points. This sort of reminds me of the Narco-Football that existed in Colombian a couple of decades back with Pablo Escobar and other drug cartels. Now it is with wealthy rich owners that as he said came into the game not looking to make money but for other reasons. Influx of money has it's good and bad's. Right now we are reaping great benefits, but sooner or later someone will have to pay the bills. And this is when having a good infrastructure will help offset the blow. Having a good academy, big revenues coming in and of course a big stadium. Which the new stadium has been some issues, and lets hope those idiots that own the grounds name will let the club move to a bigger ground.
