  1. Well the inferior complex are for those clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool that have a lot of history, but don't have the money or squad to attract players. But for me is simple. If Chelsea does not want to spend the release clause or more, then some other team will. Nothing too hard to understand about that.
  2. You can write all you want but at the end money talks. And if real madrid wants to pay more he will go there. Not to mention the good wage packet is another important factor.
  3. Oh people where asking if Real Madrid was interested in Cavani? Real Madrid join chase for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jun/12/edinson-cavani-napoli-real-madrid I am like 90% sure we are NOT going to get him. With Mourinho conference, it looks more and more like we are going to rely more on younger players and spend less.
  4. Well I thought they made their strategy known already? To win 5 trophies in the next 5 seasons. That is a very bold approach, I guess we can say something similar to what Chelsea aimed for a couple of years ago. Now we are more for developing younger players and paying less. So got to face it, we are no longer competing for top expensive players like before. I really think torres was our last expensive buy for quite a long time.
  5. Well If Torres was firing like he was doing before then Sturridge would have gotten more time against the smaller side. Instead we had to waist that time to raise the princess confidence.
  6. Well I think Matic is the only one player that we bought for potential that has done ok. Before that, everyone was very bad. With the exception of Sturridge, but his case of leaving was all down to Torres fault. Trying to play him a lot to get the best out of him frustrated a player like Sturridge. But Matic good improvement has shown that our club continues to spot good talent. Not everyone we buy we are able to retain. There are players we let go and we will wish we kept them. Every team and manager has done that in past. SAF with Stam, Barcelona letting some good players go for nothing. Real Madrid with a lot of their younger players. So it happens, no one is perfect. If you take that into account, the one major downfall for us was a bit of stability. In this perhaps I agree with Mourinho and the club. You need stability to help infuse these youngsters player into the team. Now is Mourinho the right coach for this? His past record does not help him, but a top manager in looking for a new challenge, such gamble is worth a short. My ideal manager would have been AVB as he has better skills in dealing with younger players and attractive football. Not to mention he has a better eye to spot potential talent. But it is what it is, and in Mourinho we will have some stability which is needed to help bring a couple of younger players into our team.
  7. Now we know how it must felt being Liverpool and Arsenal fans when Roman came. What goes around comes around as the saying goes.
  8. Jose Mourinho says winning Premier League title in first season at Chelsea is tough http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8770950/Jose-Mourinho-says-winning-Premier-League-title-in-first-season-at-Chelsea-is-tough Well of course it will be tough when you want to "bring out the best of Torres"
  9. Oh dear god, torres and Rooney. Does Mourinho want not to succeed? Cause that's like a serious handicap. How you can win anything major with those two is beyond me.
  10. He can try but he still will fail like with kaka. Lost cause, get rid of ASAP.
  11. People just bringing it up for the sake of it. They thought they heard it from somewhere but have no solid evidence to support their arguments. Anything to defend Torres.
  12. Some control, not full control. Emanolo still doing a good job. If reports are true that we got that kid from Serbia and send him to Benfica, then why fix that which ain't broken?
  13. Pressure? Pressure is the bird flu.
  14. Yes what the fuck is up with these reporters?
  15. Lukaku and KDB coming back! :blue scalf:
  16. Every time these journos ask these same questions over and over again.
  17. It has been a very boring press conference. Nothing like before. I guess we have to get used to it, this is the new Jose. A more humbled person that does not want to make big headlines any more. Just work at peace with the club.
  18. Fuck, I hate all this teasing and bullshit! Get to the questions we all want to hear!
  19. He seems no longer arrogant or cocky as before. He seems more humbled after that Madrid experience.
  20. Shit. sell him now in a hearbeat! 20 million, we will never get such an offer ever again.
  21. No sound? Anyone has other link not youtube? Might get better quality and sound with a different link me thinks...
  22. I just heard about this. Amazing business if true. The board realized how good matic has done since we let him go, and Benfica likes to place nice. So great deal again by emanolo and company.
  23. Won't julio cesar want to work with Mourinho and get out of that shit hole that is qpr? Then there is Lopez from Madrid who I'm sure will want to leave.
  24. Yeah this is what's on skysports: Kevin De Bruyne part of Chelsea's future plansReschke told Bild: "At a meeting on Wednesday in Leipzig, Chelsea and Jose Mourinho made it clear that Kevin returns to Chelsea. "It was not possible to connect it with the Andre Schurrle transfer." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8767124/Transfer-news-Kevin-De-Bruyne-part-of-Chelsea-s-future-plans
