I'm excited to see Mark start! I always been a big fan of him. It's an honor to have him at the club, even if it's for a year. Just like it was when we had Hiddink, one of my favorite managers from when I was growing up.

I have to say, it seems like Hazard is one of the happiest guy in the squad at this moment. Of course that all changes when the clown Side Show Bob comes into the team!
-
I do like the Godfather nickname. The happy one sounded so gay....pardon the homo reference, but I been watching too much Family Guy and TED! And the Special One, always sounded like a mentally retarded tag you give to someone "Special" So the Godfather got a better sound to it. A more mature nickname for a more mature manager.

Yeah pre-season can make a team look too bad like City, and too good like Arsenal!
-
Pretty much like I thought. City favorites to win the PL this season. We don't really got a chance, as we still yet to solve the midfield and offense problem. Van Ginkel might become good, but will not happen in his first season. And unless we get Rooney, we are stuck with Torres..... Which to be fair, all this is okay. I did not expect for Chelsea to challenge big in this season either. It will be another season like with the one we had with Benitez. Next season is when we need to challenge big. If we are still a "work in progress" by next season, then it will be safe to say we are becoming the new Arsenal!

No that was Scolari. You got to take a look at the team as well. Our team that season was shitty compare to the one Scolari had. Anyways, I still think he is a top manager.
-
I think they said they will not promote in house. So they will be looking outside. As someone said, has Bielsa name written all over it. And to be fair I would be surprised if they go for someone else and not him. Cause the style of Barcelona is still from Pep. And Pep took the style from Bielsa. So......
-
Cool cause I was going to say what the heck? He said he wanted to stay here for a long time and then this? Then I said to myself it must be a misunderstanding. And it seems like it was true.
-
Here they have a list of candidates that could possible take the job: Who could get the Barcelona job? http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/liga-spanish-view-get-barcelona-job-200641096.html
-
I don't think so. I have a feeling they will take a shot with bielsa, but that's a gamble. Cause you can either get extremely good or extremely poor with him. No middle ground. And he also works his squad to death that after a season they are totally depleted.

Sorry for the repetitive post on the benteke thread. Something wrong with my end or the site. Please delete the duplicate, thanks. :-)

WTF????? Another Rooney? Fucker was so adamant on leaving to play more competitive, and then decides to stay.....
-
Drogba was like that too. Rally the troops when the chips where down. Mata can be great, but that is one thing he lacks. Similar to Lampard, great player, but there was a reason Terry was always the leader. Cause he can rally the troops and motivate them to push on. Of field Mourinho motivates, but in the field you need that general and for many years it was Terry then follow by Drogba. Now David Luiz is the new emerging leader, and so far the only one out of all these new players.
-
The exaggerated is you making it sound like he can bring the best out of everyone and that's wrong.Sometime it does not work.
-
If this was only true for kaka, and hopefully torres..... Otherwise why get a striker? Once a player is in decline, is pretty much over. No matter how good Mourinho is, he can't make the impossible possible.
-
I actually liked this quote of him: "This club is so special that I'm back and I hope to stay for a long time. That's the only thing I can say, to every other professional in the world. This is my own experience. I'm back and I'm so happy I'm back."
-
Favorites for the tittle for me. If we get Rooney as someone says we will have a great shout. But without him, don't expect to challenge with Torres at the helm.
-
He can play like Mata, but at a more slower pace....sort of like a Silva type of player. Anyways, this one is a tricky one. We have too many players in this position, and for now you have to be very good to get into games. I don't feel he is quite ready. Maybe if we can get a decent loan or who knows, just leave him to play with the youth. Cause the Malaga loan was not the best.
-
Watched the match on Chelsea tv.....fuck me, all this money this club has and we can't even get HD????? Not to mention if we can get some better commentators then the usual. Today's' commentator was great, but there is one there that tends to come up a lot and he is horrible! I fall asleep in a matter of minutes listening to him!
-
If Romeu ever comes back from his valencia loan, he would be a great compliment as he has a similar style to kdb in the passing department, but with dm capabilities.
-
He has a Gerrard esque feel to him. But what's great about him is that his ball passing and movement go with purpose and pace! Not like mikel slow as shit sideways, backwards fuck me passing!
-
Again you fail to see that it's about money, location as the most popular today. Look even with out Mourinho we got hazard, Mata, Oscar, and such. Why? Because of the "project" Good money and good location. Yes having someone like saf or Mourinho is nice, but the bigger factors in today's modern world is what I mentioned.
-
Well this is the way I see it. United was only attractive because of SAF. After SAF has gone what much they have to make it attractive to a lot of players? Today is all about location, money and of course the competition for trophies. Giving that in the league you got already TWO teams that pay big amount of money and one with a good location, then people will chose these other two. Especially when United no longer got a top manager. This is why for me I don't fall in love with managers like you guys do with Mourinho. Yes Mourinho is great and everything, but the main fact that keep making us attractive is the money, location and availability to challenge trophies. It will continue to be like that even after Mourinho leaves, as long we got someone rich like Roman. Because that is the norm of today's football world!

I thought he was scratching his balls.

He said that for real?
