His attitude, work rate and speed helped us a lot in many games. And how we never properly replaced duff and hurt us a lot. If he can have that sort of impact ala duff in the coming seasons then I say really great piece of business.

What do you mean? I remember when we was with RDM these poor technically players that are right now, to be really good. Even with Benitez. Has to do with the philosphy of the coach. I saw similar actions under RDM. Has been woefull with Mourinho. Southampton players are like that because of the philosophy that their current manager implements in the team. This season Mourinho team has not been of attack minded approach but very defensive and counter attacking. When you muffled the creativity of our AM like Mata, to be more defensived minded, this is the result. Best examples are against smaller teams, we are shit because our current manager has a set up that excel against team that attack us. When we have possession of the ball we are woeful, because Mourinho has not work well in the aspect of this like say a Pelle or Pochetinno. We have top players and we have paid top money for them. 30 million for Willian? I will repeat this 1000 times, Mourinho is not an offensive coach. Can't expect us to play like City with Mourinho ever.

Truth be told, Mourinho is a great manager, probably one of the best in the world. But sometimes he needs to just shut up and let the team do it's own talking in the field.

The only stick I see from that statement is that Mourinho should talk less. At times he just need to shut up and just do the work.

If the guy doesn't want to be here or willing to work for 1st spot (since we will buy another striker) then we don't need such a guy. He can go like Mata and KDB, people not willing to fight for their spot.

No need to wait for that. If next season we are still horrible, mourinho would just walk away. But I have full confidence that next season we will be much better.

If teams where able to take that lump of Carroll them I'm sure we could have send Torres on a loan somewhere. As well we was going to let ba go on loan but then stop it because it was going to make arsenal a title contender. It really showed how poor this situation was handled.
