I don't know about you guys, but I think the final would be just like the UEFA super cup, which was an amazing game!!!! Cause in one side you have two very attack minded team: Real Madrid and Bayern And in the other you will have two very defensive counter attacking team: Chelsea and Atletico. This. Was never going to be easy first season, knew the team would be inconsistent. Next season is when all this progress should pay off. If not then Mourinho would have turned into another Clough, amazing at their top and then a decline afterwards, like every manager. SAF is an anomaly, not everyone can be like him, maintain yourself at the top for a long sustainable period.

This is getting boring really. Even with the half ass strikers we had the last season we scored a lot. Somewhere the idea and philosophy of two seasons clash. One season of attacking team but faults in defense to another season of well defense minded team to faults in attack.

I take the Azpi as the best thing to come out of this season. Terry not so much, as he ain't for the future. Unless he does a Maldini/Giggs and plays till his late 30's. But I want another CB to step up to the plate like we have done with Azpi for the LB/RB positions. Hopefully next season we can start seeing the emergence of that other CB.

Look I knew coming into the season this is how it would be, an inconsistent team. I expected to finish in the top 3 and get to quarter/semis of cl. Anything else was just a bonus. I was expecting next season when things to pick up, never first season. If you are going to point about Liverpool this season, well let me remind you where they finished last season? So this season was always going to be like this and build for next season. Now if next season we are still like this then we can start panicking. But until then we look forward to great improvement of the team next season.

But then you said that it doesn't apply the same for when he took over at Chelsea or Inter. So I want to know in what way did he made it easier? Building a good team right?
