Enough of rejects from our rivals maybe? I for one trust Mourinho in his judging of character, and the last thing we need is another snowflake who crumbles at every sign of trouble.

I know, I would understand it if any attention was paid to the forum, but it's not. Also I doubt how much more revenue bullshit articles bring, I suspect there would be more readers if there was quality reading. I have for example blocked ads on the main page (not forum) because I don't intend to support that direction of TC.

I brought it just as the latest example only, you are the one who "brought it up" per se. One of my other gripes is that I asked for how long he was banned because the "banned/warned members" thread isn't being used anymore, but never got a reply. Poor show. His banning might have been justified if he was warned before properly, I don't know, maybe. All I know is that his presence brought something different to this forum, made it more interesting to read and will be missed here, and I wonder if it was considered before banning, or it was done on a whim because his last unfortunate post was directed at an admin. Now if you want to continue this discussion, pls quote me in a more appropriate thread.

Yeah he could be an okay emergency solution at DMF, but I don't see that being his main position. He's a CB through and through for me.

The banning of Leif wasn't even the point of my post, so I'm not interested in discussing it in the Conte thread. You named names, I didn't blame anybody specifically and I will not.

The board scouted shit, scouts scouted them. At first sign the board got rid of them because they don't have a footballing brain cell between them.
-
	Why wasn't he then?
-
Yes, that was a factor, but also banning of good and respected posters by egomaniacal mods/admins due to personal grudges and because they didn't always necessarily conform with the mainstream opinions. Latest example being @Leif. Old members were driven away and trolls were being protected (don't think intentionally, but because of incompetence). Those same staff are not around anymore, having helped kill the forum off and then leaving themselves (though a few are still around). Thank you very much for that to them. Also, one more thing I'm sure is contributing to not getting many new members, is that TC's main focus has shifted to being a shit tabloid wannabe. As somebody already mentioned forum isn't being promoted in any way anymore, Jim doesn't appear in the forum at all anymore, totally disinterested, only the main page with crap articles for clicks clicks clicks from people who don't care about the forum. I'm grateful for all Jim did, but he's a sell-out. Articles used to be created by the community and they were always thoughtful and insightful, now all we get is clickbait shit from Don Balon and the likes... and those same articles are spamming the shit out of the forum feed as well. I have stayed only because of loyalty and habit, but truth be told - the forum is crap and inactive now, I'm giving it a few more years before it's completely dead and TC turns into a laughing stock "news" source.

Omg didn't see that. A straight pass to Messi of all people, he wasn't even trying.

Why so much negativity in this thread? It's Leicester ffs not Barcelona.

"Working hard in training" is such a cliche I'm so tired of it. Always talk talk talk, time to apply all that hard work on the pitch, but nope... we see same recurring shit regularly and not only with him. Just shut up and deliver the goods or fuck off.
-
Has he ever kicked up a fuss over something with the refs or players or anybody? Even when he disagrees with a decision he never acts like fucking Morata, might throw a frustrated look but then just walks away. You see him all the time when the game is actually being played, but he is nowhere to be seen in those theatrical and dramatic moments when football is not actually being played. It's like he deliberately keeps himself away from all those distractions and fully focuses on the task in hand. Just a pure humble professional, never complains, never rages, never stands still with his arms raised when something doesn't go his way, always does his job + more. Our team would be so much better if we had just a few more quality players to complement our elite players like Kante. The guys at the club deciding on signings don't seem to have the slightest clue on how a functioning midfield should look like.
-
Is it just me or has his dribbling ability gone downhill a bit? Or his pace? I can't put my finger on it, but imo he used to be more active in taking players on and making things happen around and in the box. Now he is more often content with passing sideways and not even attempting to beat his man.

This guy is on fire. Outperforming Hazard with ease lately. He is also MUCH more direct now, which is great to see.

Since Conte won't be here next season we can scrap assessing player as WBs altogether and the question we must ask with those targets is if they are good enough full-backs for a back 4. Is he?
-
He was much better when he arrived 4 years ago. He looks over the hill now, time to cut him loose or reduce his role next season. We desperately need a top midfielder. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

Giroud has been wank. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

Fabregas is useless. We have no midfield outside of Kante. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

Can't even say he's a good shot stopper anymore. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

For Morata it would be even more special because he is from Real Madrid.
-
Why are people worried about this? It's not like our counter-attacks have been threatening with pacey players to say the least, we still looked clueless and technically lacking. At least now we can hope for Giroud to make some knock-downs to on-running players, this has worked wonders for us in the past with a certain Drogba. If anything he will help our counter-attacks by actually creating some with hold-up and link-up play. Great line-up, exactly what I would have posted.
-
The fact that we are expected to lose overwhelmingly to anybody is in general very telling and far from what we strived for.

This situation is quite strange. Granted, I'm not briefed on details, but I read a quote from May not long ago where she said that the poisoning was most likely organized by Russia (speculation? proven?). As far as I know the investigation is still ongoing? Yet UK's government has already convicted Russia and drawn up punishments really quickly. I also heard that near that town is some kind of center for chemical weapon research, is this true? On the surface, to a casual yet critical observer like me, this case sounds strange. Question to UK politics experts on here: Would your prime minister have anything to gain by fucking off Russians?
-
Yes!! This is broadcasted on TV here. Huge audience expected if it's being shown even here, let's try to leave Camp Nou with some dignity. Striker needed badly for this game if we are serious about scoring and going through. Bring on Giroud! Tbh I don't think we'll be as toothless with Giroud, Hazard, Willian, Kante and Fabregas... we might actually have a few shots on goal.
