  1. With 3-5-2 we'll be toothless in attack. We don't really have ideal solutions whatever we go with, Barca will dominate either way.
  2. Time to post the team I would like to see tonight (already!!! big night). Courtois Azpi - Christensen - Rüdiger Moses - Kante - Fabregas - Alonso Willian - Giroud - Hazard Tbh any kind of midfield we put out is going to be weak. Drinkwater or Fabregas? At home I'd take the risk and play Cesc, he isn't that bad defensively but granted he's slow. When we recover the ball and he can quickly spread accurate passes up front then it will make up for it, Drinkwater is lacking in that department. I don't envy Conte, but whatever he does I hope he doesn't play Hazard as striker and keeps Cahill on the bench.
  3. I wouldn't call that unfair if he really did what he believed was the best for the team, and with these decisions we did end up winning the title. What seemed unfair to me were those few times he subbed him on for literally some seconds deep into stoppage time. Unnecessary and humiliating imo. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  4. Man I miss Ronaldinho, he was a joy to watch every time. Cracking game that was.
  5. It would unsettle A LOT more if he came out right now and said he wanted to leave indicating his head's not in it anymore, don't you think? Not to mention the media shitstorm that would ensue, we would be completely unable to concentrate on the task in hand (finishing top 4). Also the way he's been playing shows that he's fully committed, so I don't think those rumours unsettle the squad at all. If he was a random benchie with barely 100 mins of game time it wouldn't be so bad, questions would still be asked though and our "crisis" would be magnified, but a key player like Hazard coming out and downing tools would send everything into chaos.
  6. It would be very foolish of him to say that now when the season is still on-going. Imagine the repercussions of such a statement. Hence why he is saying what he is saying, respecting his current employer but at the same time leaving his future open, which is sensible. It's a standard PR answer.
  7. Is Luiz fit? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  8. I also don't know a single thing Bakayoko does that contributes to a win, but I do know a few things he does that contribute to losses and draws. With Drinkwater? Not so much, he's solid and intelligent enough and resembles a premier league footballer.. granted, a mid-table premier league footballer, but still a competent player at this level. Bakayoko pace and power? You're having a laugh, most of the time jogs around half-arsed, is late to every situation and loses physical battles. He's trash. Drinkwater any day, all day over Baka. 9. Don't trust English commentators/pundits with names, they never bother to learn proper pronunciation.
  10. How is his last name pronounced? Is it Pulisik or Pulisitš?
  11. Good line-up. Delighted our key players are getting fully rested, not even on the bench. Expect Hudson, Morata and Sterling to come on if we have no forced substitutions.
  12. Tbh it's hard to outdo the Oscar scam for £60m.
  13. "Conte has given plenty of chances to youth players this season, especially the likes of Ethan Ampadu and Callum Hudson-Odoi." Afaik CHO hasn't even played 50 minutes this season, was bit part player in two games. Hardly plenty.
  14. We are slowly turning into Arsenal in every sense, injuries every week is part of arsenalitis.
  15. What, Barkley injured again? He's barely even played ffs.
  16. Saw that live, Conte didn't seem too impressed.
  17. Yeah exactly, keep your expectations low, it will be painful to watch. We'll do fine to come away with a draw, in the away leg I don't hold much hope at all. Anything can happen though.
  18. I wasn't discussing what I think Conte will do, I was saying that we do have better options. I don't disagree with the high chance of that midfield line-up starting unfortunately.
  19. Yes we do. Drinks, Fabregas, Barkley, Ampadu, Luiz, Eduardo - all are better options for his position.
  20. I hope Baka doesn't, because if he did, this means he was in the team. Bench is maximum for him even in such games and he can come on only 4-0 up with 10 minutes left so he can't fuck up our lead.
  21. Neymar hahahahahaha, what a useless turd. He left Barca to come out of Messi's shadow, but the truth is he needed Messi to carry him, selfish diving choke artist on his own. "Better than Hazard" some said Get real, all the guy cares about is personal glory and when he doesn't get it he plants his ass and cries on grass.
  22. Excited to see Emerson and what he can offer. Hopefully Hudson-Odoi will play a part too. Ideally Conte would find a way to play without Kante and Azpi to give them much needed rest for the upcoming monster schedule where they will need them to play every minute. Willy Rüdiger - Luiz - Cahill Zap - Drinkwater - Ampadu - Emerson Willian - Morata - Hudson-Odoi
  23. Christensen at 21 is better than Cahill ever was. In physical aspect GC is better, but everything else AC has him beat. Christensen is already good and our 2nd best CB (best natural CB), but I feel he can still improve in his ball play. Too safe and unimaginative at times, want to see him add a spoonful of Luiz or Bonucci to his game. Defensively he will also get only better and tougher, he hasn't even played a full season in this league yet and is already bossing it. Cahill isn't a light-footed footballer nor is he very wise, Andreas is and his reading of the game is damn near perfect, that's why he is ideal in the middle of our back 3. There was a palpable discord between my confidence of keeping a clean sheet and Cahill replacing Christensen. I was even worried we'd throw the game and draw, this is how confident I am with him in the middle. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
