What's the deal with this "Capo One"?
-
Great, seems like I will need to start making export declarations at work to send stuff to the UK. Looks like the predictions of an economic meltdown in 2016 are becoming true.

Who gives a shit. It's nearly July and we're still at a phase where we're speculating over the backroom staff and getting bids rejected left and right for targets who would actually make a difference. There seems to be great indecisiveness at the club, guess these are the perks of the manager getting hands on very late.

All the prices quoted to us are ridiculous without exception. Ronaldo isn't performing well, he's an anchor dragging down the whole Portuguese team and always has. Messi at Copa I've heard has been doing great, but I don't watch it and don't really count that as he's not playing against equal opponents (I mean they won the semi-final 4-0 or something?). In World Cups he's been pretty average, undeservedly got player of tournament award last WC iirc.
-
Or maybe we shouldn't give absolute judgemenets on players based on a few international games at all? If we were to do that, then we'd be calling Ronaldo and Messi wank.

Lost? Terminate the contract, don't need losers around here.

Why? Time goes on, world changes. Doesn't really matter why it happens, fact is the world evolves over years and centuries. Yes, people are also different.

You mean the right to bear arms? Times were different, firearms weren't so lethal and powerful. The country was new, based on colonization, taken with violence and slavery producing many angry people (proven by the shortly followed civil war), people needed to protect themselves from tumultuous times. Simply put times were very different from today. Clinging to centuries old laws isn't the wisest thing as time has shown. Regular folk should be allowed to carry pistols (not rifles) in a strict and controlled manner, not like in the States. What is happening in the USA concerning guns is extreme, it's never good.

If Conte wants him, get him. Looks like an easy enough target.
-
If Costa really wants to return to Madrid, then we should allow him to. We saw last season how useless he is when sulking.
-
Have a feeling Cesar will be one of Conte's favourites, like he was for Jose. Hard working, uncompromising, defensive beast, can play either side. Any coach in the world would love to have him in the squad.
-
If we can replace him with Morata or Higuain, then I'm for it. They wouldn't cost much more anyway than the quoted sum for Costa.
-
Would be a catastrophe. He's too lightweight and soft for that role.
-
What's funny is that Conte said recently he doesn't care about counter attacking and doesn't train it. Wonder if it's true or he's simply making it more difficult to read his hand. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

Isn't this exactly the same reason many people here criticize De Gea, Neuer and such, because they are "show keepers" and make the simplest of things look good on telly? Courtois was supposed to be the calm guy who makes the most difficult things look simple. Critics and ridicule should go both ways.
-
Was the best midfielder for them, not sure why he was taken off instead of Fellaini or Witsel.
-
So the staff is trolling and provoking this issue in the first place, and regular folk who want sanity restored after a few weeks of unfunny title tampering are threatened with punishment? Now this joke I can understand... Azzar is a good player, should have been a goalkeeper though.
-
We always knew clubs will be asking overinflated prices from us because they know we are desperate and even richer now. Sure the money quoted for Radja is ridiculous, but I didn't expect anything else.

How do you pronounce his name?

Didn't she reject the reported 1.2 million? I think she got more now.

And this is why we can't get any signings done, a chunk of transfer budget thrown at Eva and Granovskaia was too occupied with this bs Now tomorrow I expect the unveiling of Nainggolan.
-
Didn't rejecting the money concern only Eva? Maybe Fearn was offered too and accepted it, hence the silence from his part. Also, why did Eva reject it if it's only money she's after? Was she so sure that she'd get that huge pay raise and put all the eggs in that basket? Doubt it. Or she thinks she can get more out of this trial if she wins?

There could be a number of reasons. I'm just speculating here, but Mourinho was appointed as a manager not head coach, so he was more than likely in charge of micro management questions, match day staff falls into that category. He'd just come off a title winning season, he'd proven he knew what he was doing, so the board probably didn't want to pick a bone with him over silly matters and just said something along the lines of "yeah do whatever you feel necessary, we have other doctors here". Don't think they even cared much at first, it was clearly Mourinho holding a grudge and the club might have just trusted his judgement blindly. It would be foolish to backtrack now when it appeared as if they supported his decision, when in reality they might have just left matters like this completely to his hands. And we have to remember that it is the employer, the club itself, under scrutiny here, they are defending themselves by being in Mourinho's corner.

Naturally, but he'd occupy Lampard's position in a 4-3-3. I'm wondering maybe Conte wants to go 4-4-2 with Nainggolan and Kante in the middle, would that work? Provided we get a proper partner to Costa of course.
