To me it looks like the guys are giving their all every game and that is something ex players have praised Conte for, for instilling such a mentality and being a great motivator. You never felt the players really giving their all last season (until Hiddink arrived).

Conte is the best signing of the season followed by Kante. Who cannot appreciate what he's done already and what he aims to do, I am sorry. Our players are confident, have regained self-belief, seem to be developing a drawn-up plan on both ends (we only had a plan on one end under Mourinho, but last season not even that). Last season's black sheeps Ivanovic, Oscar and Matic haven't been half as bad as that and seem to have regained that drive in them that was missing before. Everything about Conte is fresh and positive, I haven't felt this excited about a manager since Mourinho's first stint.

A left-footed defender, tall enough to play in center too, can be used in midfield, cost only £6 million according to the official EPL app. Am happy with the signing, but let's see how he fares first.

What are you on about? It's a left-footed left-back, meaning we now have the option to bench Ivanovic and play Azpi where he belongs. It's like two signings in one, provided he plays of course and is not cut off like Luis or his much inferior (but expensive) replacement Baba. I guess since we aren't dealing with Mourinho anymore, we might actually see changes and some flexibility in team selections. Is he even allowed to play yet after being coked up?

And it will be Conte's head rolling when things go south, not Granovskaia's, Emenalo's or whoever the fuck is dealing with transfers.

Shit, so there is a possibility that we stay with only 1 signing in midfield and are yet to get at least one signing in defence. Both lines need at least two signings imo, pretty clear we don't have time to improve substantially in terms of individual quality, so all bets have been placed on Conte's ability to make a great omelette out of bad eggs. Hopefully we can still pull this one off, we need depth badly.

Not just that, we'd get him for half the price Napoli want for Koulibaly. We could sign one more quality player with the money saved. Just get it done quickly please so we can sign some more players. I'm most worried that the club thinks one defender + Kante is enough. Not counting Michy because he's a backup player and our attack really isn't the problem here. We need at least one more full-back and midfielder, or this transfer window will have been a disaster despite getting Kante (who is perfect for us, not to take anything away from that capture).

It's not like he has much choice. The squad is thin and the players you mentioned were signed/destroyed by Mourinho. At this rate it will take Conte a few more transfer windows to make the team look his, atm he's working with scraps and doing a damn good job at it.

Liverpool complete deal to sign Ragnar Klavan Wow, this is huge. Never thought I'd see an Estonian playing in EPL in my lifetime. Mixed feelings, on one hand it is liverpool, on the other hand I want Klavan to do well. Good utility player to have, mainly a center back, he can also play left-back, left or defensive midfield. As long as they finish below us, it's all good.
