Lose to Leeds and forgot any trophy this season. Imagine if we lost to Leeds, fucking joke of a team.

Knew I'd got the guys name wrong, was going to check it but I couldn't be bothered, too busy reading inverting the pyramid to check
-
No did I fuck hahaha, I said hes the next Zidane because he headbutted that gremlin who plays CB for Stoke like Zidane did to Marratti in the WC final in 2006.
-
I already done it hours ago.. am I an idiot :( :(
-
There was a few before, but the CWC has attracted more I think which is great. Nice to have different nationalities joining the forum

Funny they've rated Paulinho better than Ramires, that Emerson Sheik the same as Hazard (LOL WHAT THE FUCK YOU STUPID BASTARDS HAHA), Felipe Santos only 2 stars behind Ashley Cole, seriously do Brazilian football journalists realize Cole has been the worlds best LB since Roberto Carlos retired or what?

Watching the highlights of the Stoke-Everton game. Felliaini should have made an easy interception in the second half, messed it up and Stoke got a great chance to score. For being a 6 ft 5 DM, he should of easily made that interception with his leg. Also the headbutt is disgraceful, he also tried elbowing Shawcross on purpose, then punched him. Hes really good at giving away fouls. I know I said up there it was funny at first but its really ridiculous to do in fact. He didn't offer anything in attack today, was shite. He was totally dominated in the air today, so basically if you can stop him in the air hes not even effective. Anyway if we want to sign a Belgian, lets get Benteke... Haha not just saying that because of how he played today. Watched him since the start of the season, hes a good all round striker, good at holding it up, bringing others into play, strong in the air, strong on the ball, good finisher gives 110%, runs the channels etc. Lambert benching Bent for him has been justified so far.

Looking forward to seeing a Josh - Chalobah midfield pairing sometime in the next couple of years. Along with the KDB, Oriol, Mikel and Ramires our midfield will be excellent.
-
Ronaldo has won a WC though unlike Klose haha. Ronaldo was a much better player than Klose anyway imo. Still both got great WC records.
-
God damn you Klose...
-
I say we sign him now just so he can headbutt that hacking prick Shawcross every time we play Stoke. Hate Shawcross so much, fucking rugby player. But yeah buying a player just to headbutt a Stoke City player is kind of a waste haha.

Fellaini = next Zidane.

Yeah I was more than happy with winning the CL and would take it ahead of top 4 - in fact that night in Munich was the happiest night of my life as a Chelsea fan - but Chelsea simply has to finish top 4 But yeah lets agree to disagree

No. Just being frankly honest, we could have done better in the league and finished top 4... was still in our hands at one point!

He couldn't motivate the team to beat a struggling AC Milan side, some washed up MLS team, Atletico, Juve (twice), Brighton, Newcastle (last season), Man City (Community shield and last season), PSG, Swansea, QPR, WBA, Man United, Liverpool (this season and last season in that horrible 4-0 game) so what difference does it make? The only team in that list that is better than us is Man City and maybe possibly Juventus depending on what way you look at it even though I believe we should have gone to beat them in Italy and beat them at the Bridge. We would have won more games if it weren't for Robbie's naive tactics and failure to recognize that the 3 players behind the striker was costing the team defensively a bit sooner. Lets be honest, when your on about managers beating Barca, Napoli, Bayern etc, does that mean coaches of lower clubs in La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga that have beat the teams deserve a top job? No. Neil Lennons Celtic beat Barca, does he deserve a top coaching job? No. Your argument makes no sense. Also first couple of games Robbie won in the PL were against Wigan, Reading, Newcastle, Stoke and Norwich. All winnable by easy margins, especially considering the squad we have so saying that Rafa doesn't really deserve credit because we just beat Nordjaelland, Sunderland and Monterrey.. when he does because we've looked much better defensively and more tactically disciplined. Also last season, we managed to drop from 4th place to 6th place under Robbie... just because we won the FA cup and CL it was still disgraceful for a club as big as us to finish outside the top 4. Robbie was always walking a tightrope as any manager is at Chelsea, I always had a feeling Roman felt pressured a bit into appointing him. Imagine the uproar if he hadn't offered him the job? Still I accepted the decision to sack him because Robbie is still a novice in the terms of management at the highest level and now he the CL and FA cup on his CV so he could walk into a job basically anywhere. After the AVB disaster maybe sacking Robbie was the right thing to do, we can't always dwell on past achievements. Got to look ahead and obviously Robbie wasn't Romans man.

Sven and Lars can't sign for us.... or opposition fans will tease us about having 2 players called "Bender" in our squad
-
No. My dad is a Queen of the South fan and more recently a Inverness Caley fan. He supports Queen of the South because his dad got the chance to sign pro with them but he turned it down (why I will never know haha) and he supports Inverness now because my brother played in their youth team for a few years. Don't think he actually gives too much of a shit about football tbh haha.

Calling Benitez a crappy manager is harsh. He won La Liga in 2001-02 and 2003-04 with Valencia. La Liga has been dominated by Real and Barca for the last 20 years basically so that is a fantastic achievement for any manager. Also he won the CL with an average Liverpool side being 3-0 down at half time. He made that tactical changes and it worked. Hes a great tactician, just because he was Liverpool manager doesn't mean hes a shit manager.

FFP is ridiculous imo. Obviously someone whos going to pour loads of money into a club will realize the club will need to make money to pay off their debts. I would honestly love to meet Michel Platini, compliment him on how great a player he was then kick him in the nuts for passing this rule.
-
If its only 10-15 million why the fuck not. Boys fast and has improved his general end product and finishing a lot over the last few years. Plus I'd rather us get him than City/United tbh. Imagine 20 mins left in a game, throw him on against a tired defense his pace could be brilliant. Could be a genius signing.
-
He already rejected us last summer to go to Madrid when AVB/the board tried signing him from Benfica (despite us offering the full release clause - 30 million euros cahs only - which was more than Madrid wanted to pay - 20 odd million euros plus Ezequiel Garay - which is why Benfica's board pushed for him to come here instead of Madrid). Also he looks extremely suspect defending tbh so no thanks. Hes great going forward though but thats because hes played a lot as a winger at Rio Ave due to being poor defensively. Basically hes the slightly better LB version of Bosingwa tbh. I'd rather we keep Cole or go for Marcelo (who according to Cole is the best LB in the world). Or Baines who is also a great LB. Also his hair is a fucking mess, if he was to come here he'd have to sort that out. Fecking hippie.

Brazil have Juan Jesus, Dede, Bruno Uvini, Leandro Castan as well as Luiz and Thiago Silva. Nobody walks into a national team as easy as you made out. Picks are usually based on form and if Luiz is playing DM he'll either get picked there or not at all. I also realized Luiz only has 17 caps for Brazil, honestly expected him to have 25-30 tbh.
-
Totally agree. Especially Mata as well, gets into a decent position but always looks to pass. Same with Oscar despite him having a cracker of a shot on him as we seen vs Juve!
-
May sound harsh but I honestly expected more goals from Eden. Hes doing well with everything else though so I don't really mind as long as we score goals and keep winning. Two things I love about him is that he can get fouled a million and one times in a game but still picks himself up every time and repeatedly takes people on etc. Also his acceleration is absolutely exceptional, if he wanted he could have a sloppy touch and still he can recover it before a defender. His first touch is usually perfect though
