We will just get the rules changed and play crab football with all these small, skinny, frail players haha. *crab football is where you basically walk around on your hands and knees but your backwards (if you get what I mean) like a crab and try and play football - you can't stand up or that its pretty stupid but we tried it in our training at a local team in training a few years back, ... just incase you didn't know. this is the reason why Scotland suck,we play too much crab football in training

Reading some of these comments and have to say I had a lot of drink and no hangover yesterday. Just because us Scots can actually handle as much drink as we want though We drink as much as we want, as much as we want, we are from Scotland we drink as much as we want new national anthem for when the country is 100% alcoholics (not long)

Well I adore Scotland because they win the WC every 4 years.......... basically I would kill for a player of Sneidjers quality to be Scottish.... he dragged Holland to the WC final by himself so surely he'd get us past the qualification haha then some stupid cunt called Craig Levein would fuck it all up by playing a 4-6-0 with no wingers but an additional set of full backs and no striker because hes a tosspot.

Whoever said Sneidjer is one of the most overrated players of the last decade or whatever is off their nut. Sneidjer is one of the finest MF players around right now. If he was fit he'd walk into more or less every team in Europe except Barca/Real and ours because we have too many AMs.

Haha John Carew wow I agree we need 2 new strikers at least, maybe 3 if we can get 3. I'd take Llorente but I still think theres better options out there. I'd have Walcott, Ba, Dzeko, Lewandowski, Lorenzo Insigne (think thats how you spell it, can't remember if hes a winger or a striker though) etc ahead of him.

Even the Walcott playing every week despite his contract running up kinda backs up my point about Llorente. You pick your best players week in and week out. Drogba played with his contract running down last year because he was our best striker. Sure their other strike might be in form but if Llorente was that good he'd still be playing. I don't see the point in managers making their best players sit on the bench over a contract, surely they would rather have them playing to try and get them further up the league no?

No Drogba wasn't an average player, Drogba was incredible, he could come up with that bit of magic that would win you games, fought for the team constantly and he had an incredible winning mentality along with JT, Lamps and Petr that rubbed off on others. Llorente isn't as good as everyone makes out, if he was so good and meant so much to Bilbao, Bielsa would play him anyway despite the contract problems because you pick your best players usually. He's decent but there's better out there is what I meant, he'd be a cheaper option for us, you have to consider stats sometimes which shows he doesn't actually have that great a strike rate and hes had 2 stand out seasons where hes scored more than 20 goals.

Yes which was last season. I don't think signing a player based on one season where he scored over 20 goals is right tbh, it would be like signing Michu because hes had one decent half a season. I checked my stats again it turns out in 244 league games hes scored 82 times. Hes only scored over 20 goals in a season twice in his whole career. Negredo has scored more goals than him in La Liga (107 goals in 260 games) and obviously so has David Villa (230 goals in 443 games).

Hes scored 70 something goals in nearly 300 appearances. That is average.

How can you say Llorente is "good"? In his whole career hes had one consistently good season which was last year. Nobody ever heard of him until last year when he scored 20-30 goals. In fact if Bilbao hadn't been so good last year in Europe and Spain nobody would have known who he was. Hes an average player, better than Torres but still average.

Negredo is decent but hes not that good, same as Llorente. Hes quite average actually... thats why I'd prefer Ba or someone else.

Don't get me wrong, Llorente is a decent striker but I personally think Ba is the best option in January.

Meh still would rather Ba/Villa.

QPR always step it up against us and the fact 'Arry dickface is their coach he will have them up for this game just because we are one of the big boys so to speak. Lampard hattrick against his uncle would be nice. Anyway a 3 or 4-0 win would be great but so would a 1-0 or 2-1.

FFP isn't a reality. FFP is a joke. It is to stop small clubs being taken over and having 400 million pounds spent in 2 transfer windows basically. Its basically so the AC Milans, Barcelonas, Real Madrids, Man Uniteds etc are all going to be the only elite clubs - making as much money as they want - spending it if they want with no consequence. Basically it won't allow teams to grow into top teams in the manner us, City and PSG did.

He obviously feels at Newcastle he demands more wages after scoring 13 goals this year and how every man last year for them and rightly so. Remember we spent over 100 million in the summer, FFP did fuck all about that. Also Ba is from Senegal, Chelsea is big in Africa because of players like Moses, Mikel, Drogba, Essien, Desailly etc. It increases our fan base because maybe Senegalese people will see their idol playing in Chelsea blue and think "Oh I want to support this team" or whatever Yes his knee is a problem but still, 7 million is low risk compared to 48 million for Falcao who also has a troubled past with injuries actually.
