  1. Balotelli has the potential to be one of the best strikers Italy will have seen over the last 10 years. Just needs to apply himself. Watched him play under Mancini/Jose at Inter and it was clearly visable how talented he was. Just maybe attitude and sillyness that ruined him. I'm sure he'll straighted out though, the way he played against Germany at the Euros was absolutely sensational, was the best player on the park. If we had a manager who could ground him/he wasn't as stupid I'd happily have him here ! Hope he ends up back in the PL when hes a bit more mature, would love to see him using his talent a bit more than what he did the last 2-3 years. Anyway Milan could have a great forward three due to the players they have and their versatilitiy. Could interchange very very very well. Niang can play CF Balotelli can play on the wings/CF Robinho can play on the wings/CF Bojan every forward position basically El Sharaawy can play on the wings/CF or two up top with Robinho/Bojan/El Sharaawy/Prince behind them.
  2. Lol we should of gave them 3 million plus Hilario plus Turnbull tbh. Then rotate him with Cech/use him in cup games/Europa League.
  3. Sell Torres, get Lukaku back (or loan him again if Falcao/Cavani comes in the summer), Ba, Icardi and Feruz Sounds not bad at all... and possibly the arrival of Falcao/Cavani haha, could be an awesome strikeforce... would be unreal if we could make space in the squad to have them all in it.
  4. Watched all of his goals this season, his movement for most of his goals is actually brilliant.
  5. Probably just a striker, I think hes probably better than Nando haha, well who isn't? He could be second choice We'd have to get him soon to get him cheap incase he keeps scoring bucketloads of goals and gets sold to some Italian club in a fucking ridiculous part ownership deal where they own both his shins and his shoulders and the others get the rest of him.
  6. I did see in the thing I was reading about Prandelli wanting him to play for Italy even though he apparently told the Sampdoria coach he wants to play for Argentina. Maybe more time in Serie A would be good for him but still good to see we are expanding our knowledge of players. more info on him here http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/pitchside-europe/mauro-icardi-sampdoria-lucky-charm-162616638.html
  7. Just seen his 4 goals vs Pescara, going to throw this out, he looks a bit like Torres when he wasn't actually crippled. Pacey, gets into goal scoring positions, good finisher, makes good runs... gonna watch out for him to see if the hypes justified. Not saying hes the next Torres or whatever but those 4 goals look like goals Torres scored years ago at Liverpool... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ4-ZU0lTls
  8. I take it you've seen him play, what sort of player is he like? I read about Messi comparisions but I think its due to the fact hes Argentine, a striker and came through the Barca academy lol similar to Piazon and Kaka.
  9. So according to Tancredi Palmeri (Italian CNN correspondent) who has sources from Sky Italy, we have contacted Sampdoria to try and sign 19 year old 'wonder kid' Mauro Icardi. He's Argentinian and was signed by Sampdoria from Barca's La Masia academy for €400,000 or something. He scored four goals against Pescara (becoming the third player to score four goals in one game for Sampdoria) quite recently. In his first season in Serie A he has 7 goals so far. Never actually heard of him before but was reading an article on him and apparently Barca rated him quite highly but because of the strikeforce they had, he thought it was better to leave Barca so he did.
  10. Big players aren't always the answer. Hungry and talented players looking to prove themselves > big players who only do half a job in easy games (like the Brentford one). Hungry players will fight for your club.
  11. He doesn't have enough leadership skills but he is the captain of Lyon????? That would be like being a professional footballer but having no lower body.....
  12. If we are signing him as a Courtois replacement then the board can go fuck off. Courtois is 1090008 times the keeper he is. Butlands decent, overrated slightly, had a good Olympics but hes fucked up for Birmingham this season. If hes getting 10-15 games a year then yeah maybe he'd be a decent buy for 3 million. Hes better than Turnbull, Hilario and Blackman at least.
  13. Shit got real when Cap spammed everything and yous know it Na I'm joking, had a look through some of the older versions, some interesting stuff like Adriano declining the chance to pull on Chelsea blue even though we hadn't made an official bid, what a dickhead
  14. Good luck big man, just don't score against us in next years CL
  15. It would be weird but then at least he could say 'Chelsea have the same amount of Champions Leagues as Liverpool, FACT." even though I don't know why he'd do such shit he'd probably be like 'I love Fernando and want to have his babies in Liverpool. FACT"
  16. Imagine he got the job full time next season and then won us 4 CL's in a row .....
  17. Torres was a Carlo signing. I think Elemeno was only promoted to this 'technical director' role when AVB took over.
  18. You have to give Emanulo some credit though, some of the players we've signed over the last 2 seasons are more than likely due to him....
  19. I seen someone post somewhere about resigning Lampard on a lower salary, I personally don't think he'll take a wage cut. Especially when hes nearing the end of his career, surely he'd goto LA Galaxy and take up that $250k p/w or whatever it was Beckham was on AND play every game rather than half what hes on and play 20 games a season next year. Lampard wants to keep playing regularly so letting go of him to use younger/better players wouldn't be that bad a thing. Sure I'd keep him if he'd accept a 100k wage cut and maybe get 25 games maximum a season but will he really accept that. Remember AVB tried, bad man management or not Lampard didn't like it. Anyway in my opinion, you build your team around your best players, Lampard is no longer in my eyes one of our best players so if we want to replace him in the summer to use a better suited player for the 4-2-3-1 formation we've been using, then do it. He can't play as a defensive midfielder because he leaves too much space for the opposition midfield and casually works back half the time. He can't play as an attacking midfielder because hes not that sort of player.
  20. Swansea were linked with him, he played for Liverpools youth academy I think... he was born 30 mins away from where I stay haha. Wee Gary Mackay-Stevens and his skills!
  21. Yep very true haha. Anyway Neymars tricks are overrated. Check this guys amazing skills out and Neymar who?
  22. See if Neymar put a bit of muscle on, I'd have him upfront leading the line.. Moses - Mata - Hazard / Neymar
  23. Neymar is class but overcomplicates everything, see if Roy Keane was still playing and he played against Neymar I have a funny feeling Neymar would never play again.... due to a heavy tackle which would be intended likely.... hahaha imagine Neymar trying to rainbow flick Roy Keane, he'd end up stretchered off
