  1. I'd actually be surprised if we ever expressed interest in Falcao after he went to Atletico tbh. If we wanted him so badly we would have signed him by now.
  2. Same reason Aguero couldn't go. Real and Atleti are massive rivals. The rivalry isn't as intense as the El Classico but its a huge rivalry. Anyway thank god, overrated as fuck.
  3. He won a Coppa Italia with Fiorentina, another Coppa Italia with Lazio, 3 Serie A league trophies, another 2 Coppa Italia trophies and 2 Supercoppa Italiana trophies all with Inter. Along with a PL, FA cup and Community Shield with City. Hes fairly successful, in fact very successful. Thats 12 trophies since 2001. His record in Europe is his only down fall in my opinion. He is a good manager but I don't know why he went and pissed about with that 3-5-2 for half the season though.
  4. Tbh if we don't get Jose, I'm gonna put this out there and say I'd happily have Mancini here. Hes a good enough coach tbh, just I don't know whether or not he was behind the recruitment at City or that Barcalona gobshites Txiti whats his face. City are going to suffer for sacking someone like Mancini and replacing him with Pellegrini though hahahahhaha.
  5. Even if we can get him fit to play 25-35 minute if we need him to come on and provide a spark. Highly unlikely though.
  6. “Of course, Chelsea are a big club, but this is not the same team that won the Champions League a year ago,” said the 33-year-old. “This team got knocked out at the group stages. They have not been convincing in Europe or in the Premier League. “Since they have inherited a wealthy owner, this is probably the weakest Chelsea team there has been. “And it is a team that is not behind the coach. We can take advantage of the fact they are not at their best and not playing as a team. “Chelsea lost two great players in Didier Drogba and Michael Essien. “Then players who have been so important like John Terry and Frank Lampard are not even getting games.! “It is amazing how much a team can change in 12 months, but that is football,” Aimar added. Seems that little shit Aimar is trying to turn up the heat. Well I'm sure glad his team got beat tonight hahaha. If this Chelsea team is the worst one in the Roman era since we never qualifed for the CL even though we won it last year then surely since Benfica were quarter finalists last year and went out in the group stages of this years CL they are worse than last year?? Stupid fucker Aimar is.
  7. An exotic Neil Warnock hahahahahahhahahahaha that is the greatest comparison ever made.
  8. Hes really crying because he said he'd only 'cut his hair when Benfica win the league', he must of thought "this is the year I can finally get rid of this fucking mop" then boom the wee guy Kelvin scored a winner making it more than likely Porto will wrap it up hahaha.
  9. Hahahaha this thread might as well be changed to the we hate Man City thread. Anyway they were absolute shite against Wigan.
  10. Has he played any shitter for Chelsea? Maybe the game vs Napoli under AVB was the only game he was even shitter in.
  11. Chelsea, Rangers, Hamburg and Linfield are all linked somehow I think. Heard people mention Blues Brothers and all four teams. Unsure how the fuck Hamburg are involved but yeah...
  12. They will though, the boy is incredible.
  13. Its funny. Manchester United are stuck with Moyes (who is a good coach) with an really good squad - full of top players and plenty of depth - but he might struggle to attract all the top players as hes not Fergie. Where as we will have Jose coming back and that potentially gives us a pass to try and get a lot of top players as top players want to work with top successful coaches. Yes it doesn't always work like that but who doesn't want to play for Mourinho? Hes got that 'x factor' if you'll call it that. As does Pep, as proven with Gotze moving to Bayern from Dortmund and as did Fergie. Still I suppose Moyes is managing Manchester United though, the brand of Manchester United probably makes up for the fact hes not a global name like Fergie. Do United really need more players expect a LB and CM?
  14. If we sign him there are many pluses, as the posted above has put a few I think I will add some too. 1) Shirt sales is a big one, probably be bigger than Torres for us tbh. 2) As Mata and Torres have done, a potential sponsorship deal with Adidas. Imagine Adidas adverts with both Torres and Rooney, two players who have been endorsing Nike products for many years, both playing for Chelsea. 3) Home grown player with many years left, mainly his peak years. 4) Versatile, he can play CM, CAM, ST which will suit Jose as he will be able to utilize him in many different positions due to injuries/suspensions if needed. 5) Playing in say CM, allows the likes of Lukaku and Feruz in the future to get much more chance of getting games here. 6) Very experienced, its not like hes a lad whos been playing in the lower teams in the PL is it? 7) Scores 15 goals plus a season at least, which is good. Can score upto 30 maybe even 40 in a really really good season. 8) Will be very ambitious if he moves here to prove he is still more than good enough, which he is. 9) On technical ability, the best English player. 10) Hes a game changer, can create something out of nothing, eg. that pass for Van Persie's sublime volley vs Aston Villa. Sure hes on 250k p/w but can't we just give him a big sign on fee and ask him to lower his wages? Plus we pay Lampard and Terry 175k p/w and they sit on the bench half the time... even though they deserve such wages after successful service at the club over the last 10 years or so. Benayoun and Malouda make a lot too, so getting them off the wage bill will give us a bit more help in terms of wages and FFP if this were to go ahead.
  15. Surely if Jose came back and we signed Rooney you'd think he'd rejuvenate him a bit. Hes the best player England have produced for a while.
  16. Mata was one of our better players. Nearly scored a few, played nice passes and overall played well. Torres assist was a slightly overhit pass meant for Mata, if Ramires wasn't there Dawson was getting that lmao. AND HAZARD DIDN'T DO ANYTHING? What where you watching? He was unbelievable tonight, pity he came off injured.
  17. If two of Mata/Oscar/Hazard don't play were fucked
  18. Hes a Scotsman but a very weird Scotsman because he chose to play for Ireland......... crazy
  19. If he gets us top 4 in the end I don't really give a shit. Top 4 is a must.
  20. Done as well as I'd expected if he wins the Europa League and gets us top 4. We have a really small squad and I'm surprised we've got as many points on the board as we have in the second half of the season.
  21. Your a dick dude. Lukaku clearly has improved. We all seen him play last year and he was pish compared to what he is now. Jesus christ open your eyes haha.
  22. Yes but Verratti would of solved our MF problem. Surely someone inside the club has to release we need someone like him next to a DM no?
  23. Why didn't we just fucking buy Verratti, jesus, fuck you board.
