I'll be honest here, 5/10 times Luiz's long passes when hes playing DM work. He could play today and be absolute shit. Hes still very much unproven as a holding MF player.

Luiz has much more score because hes scored goals. WhoScored ratings aren't very realistic. If Mikel scored 3 or 4 goals in about a week but did nothing else he'd end up with a WhoScored rating of about the same as Luiz got likely. I'm not saying Mikels been good recently or that but the WhoScored ratings are weird because if your defender was to say score 2 goals but fuck up for a goal in the same match he'd end up with a reasonable score because he scored twice.

Anything over 30 million and Alteti have ripped us off. If Courtois goes to, then what a rip off the lad will be, unless he justifies hes worth 30 million plus the best young keeper in the world which I doubt any striker could do tbh.

Would be an interesting signing and getting him hints at JT not playing as much or Luiz playing in MF all the time imo.

From what I've seen out of the two (which isn't very much) I'd probably say hes just better but as I've said I've not seen a lot of Lyon and Toulouse games the last few years.

Wilshere is not as good at defending as he is creating chances. When he loses the ball he stays up the pitch most times creating a massive gap in midfield which often leaves Arteta outnumbered, that is why Wenger has had to play him as a attacking midfielder most of the time with Cazorla on the left wing. Also he wouldn't be adequate as a DLP as his game is based on committing players to foul him basically and slipping short passes through tight gaps for his team mates to score from like one he did for Walcott before he got injured, against Stoke I think... maybe not...

Hes not ready, why buy another younger player when we already have Josh, Nate, Romeu, De Bruyne and Oscar who could all potentially play as a CM for at least 10 years?
