  1. If Suarez wants to come to Chelsea well he will force it, same with Torres who had for the last 2 years before coming here had an interest in playing for us but they will want at least 40m if not 50m.
  2. Hes not ready to start for Chelsea, hes better in France for now. Has a lot of potential but he needs more time to develop.
  3. Really... I wouldn't say that, I feel he doesn't give away unnecessary fouls like other players do when they are in positions when they cannot really take the ball without taking the man (Luiz, Ramires, Lampard).
  4. Nailed it. This is why Falcao will never play for us as hes a poacher who doesn't necessarily do anything other than score (which isn't a bad thing I suppose but still)
  5. Inter are also only selling him so they can raise funds to sign Lavezzi...
  6. Oscar vs Juan Mata: EPL games: 13-10, Goals: 5-0, Avg. passing accuracy: 82%-88%, Chances created: 17-24
  7. Hes really a box to box player, would be a decent rotation option for Ramires but nothing more as he's quite frankly average and not better than Rami. Some Inter fans are a bit confused as to why he was signed as Stramma used him as #10 but not to create chances but to win the ball up further up the pitch as hes much more of a combative player than a creative one, which is an ok idea but when your team lacks creativity like Inter did... not a very good idea. He has a good shot, quite a physical player but has ridiculous decision making on various things like passing, tackling and when to shoot and when not to shoot. Would like Kovacic from Inter though, he's a gem, can be what we need in the middle of the park, good passer, has incredible vision, perhaps he will end up playing further up though I was tweeting an Inter fan the other night who said hes being moulded into a Pirlo like player by the looks of it but he thinks that he'd be better closer to the strikers. Or even Taider he's more in the mould of what we need than Guarin.
  8. Which holding midfield player does anything specifically special on the pitch? Not many do. Its just some sort of myth because Sergio Busquets since he broke into the Barca team, Xabi Alonso although I find it hard to believe hes a holding midfielder and Alex Song in his last season at Arsenal (when he basically played as a box to box midfielder) played some nice passes in between the lines. Its not that Mikel can't, he just plays his role very well, safety first, no risks, fills in when he needs to do so and tackles when he needs to tackle. I am honestly baffled by this argument, I've seen others post it "I don't think hes good enough because he does nothing special" other players like Arteta/Carrick/Britton/Lucas/Allen etc. do a similar sort of job, just keep the ball moving on, safety first, no risks as do other players...
  9. Sorry stopped reading after seeing that 'statement'. We struggled due to poor defensive organization, not the fact we didn't create a lot of chances, as we did especially in the first half. It was nothing to do with Mikel and Ramires' passing, who did what they had to do, play the ball to the creative players and Ramires then joined in the attack when he could. We need to score more goals, going in at 1-1 at half time was ridiculous, we had been all over them, it gave them a little bit of belief and what do you know they end up winning due to some shocking defending from Ivanovic who has given away points already this season in the CL and PL with some dreadful games and an allround terrible defensive set play. Azpilicueta lining up against Walters was also a pathetic decision by Jose imo, Walters is a strong lad, Ivanovic would have been better suited to playing on the left side against him as opposed to Azpilicueta even though both are naturally right sided players. More or less every header between Azpi and Walters, Walters won, this was evidently something Stoke looked to use and exploit, similar with Newcastle against us with Sissoko drifting out to the right to challenge Cole in the air. Cechs ridiculous decision to try and punch a ball he was getting nowhere near was baffling, then to find Crouch unmarked basically, even more baffling.
  10. I thought all of those predominantly played on the left though? They can play there but Kevins much more of a natural there. Can't see any of them bar Hazard unless he plays on the right starting ahead of Kevin..
  11. Well if Luiz decides to start doing crazy shit like he has in the past then I wouldn't fancy any of them two haha! Still waiting to see him play at the same level consistently for a season with very little mistakes but obviously I believe Jose can change him. But yeah Luiz > Cahill, by a mile.
  12. I'm guessing you mean his agent? Jose didn't say anything about him wanting to leave.. Anyway was reading this [http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/jose-mourinho-fails-to-convince-bundesligabound-kevin-de-bruyne-to-stay-at-chelsea-8992875.html] and came across this quote.. Lets be honest, who the hell is going to take his place given he was Belgium's best player in qualification and has no real quality competition on the right wing? If he was Courtois or Lukaku then yeah I get it as Courtois has Mignolet for competition and Lukaku has Benteke for competition to start but De Bruyne? He has next to no competition on the right wing... if he wants to go and play for Wolfsburg then well I don't know. He should have been aware he would struggle for games this season, Mourinho finds an 11 he likes and sticks with it 9 times out of 10.
  13. Mosquito? Lollll some name, let's sign him for 4 million because he will sell about 50 million in shirt sales alone without playing a game for us then we will sell him for 2 million in 2016 after he plays 0 games for us
  14. Welcome mate! You say you work with Kenneth, what is it you do with him?
  15. I dont see how people would be against this...... seriously.....
  16. I remember Martinez saying he believes he could be as good as an 8 as he is as a 10 bu I don't know, he could probably but he'd be the box to box player as opposed to the one who controls the tempo. This ship sailed a while ago.
  17. Yes but Barkley had a greater influence on the game due to himself getting on the ball in various positions; in between the lines, in front of his defence, in between Arteta-Ramsey and Ozil etc. He is the main player in that Everton team right now, everything goes through him, even when Baines is in the team.
  18. Dont know why Jose put him on, I know we needed a goal but we could all see he wasn't 100% ready to play again.
  19. Did anyone else see that he played centrally a lot against Stoke? Like a second striker? Or was it just me seeing shit...
  20. Totally agree about Rami needing a rest. I like the fact we are linked with Matuidi of PSG, he could be a good option to rotate with Ramires as hes a similar sort of player but we need to find Rami a partner first before a suitable rotation option I think.
  21. No Barkley had a great game because he wasn't afraid to run at Arsenal and he didn't let his head drop if things didn't come off. He has a great mentality as in he's fearless (not afraid to try difficult passes/shots/flicks, take the ball under pressure etc.), strong and most of all technically excellent. The amount of times I seen him receive the ball with his back to goal under pressure from one or two Arsenal players was incredible, the fact he always turned and beat them as well before going went forward without losing the ball in some critical areas of the pitch was even more incredible. He was the same against Manchester United, as Alan Hansen and Danny Mills said on MOTD, we seem to see that coach that out of kids in Britain, they don't want to try and be positive incase they make a mistake or lose it or whatever but Barkley didn't let that affect him once. Barkley has been the best English player in the PL after Rooney so far this season in my opinion. Next Gazza like some people have touted? I don't want to say yes or no but who knows....
  22. Yeah next season we need to weigh the situation up between Petr and Thibaut but to drop Cech for Schwarzer right now because of that mistake would be ridiculous given that ok hes made the other two mistakes as you've mentioned how many times has he kept us in games where we have been terrible? A lot. Goalkeepers make mistakes, they are human too... just when a goalkeeper makes a mistake it is much more costly.
  23. I said that towards the end that he nearly scored. Its just the games against United and Arsenal in particular for Everton he hasn't stood out like he has in other games, shows he's still got somethings to work on (like his movement at times is so frustrating), obviously we aren't in a position where we can really say though that he wouldn't improve us because he probably would but if we were in such a situation with a Falcao or a Lewa or another top striker we wouldn't be talking about how we need to recall him this badly.
  24. Really? He did one thing wrong, other than that and that horrible throw out to Eto'o vs Everton that was in the build up to their goal.... hes done nothing wrong. I wouldn't drop Petr, he made a stupid mistake but it was ONE, its not like he made 3 or 4 in the same game.
  25. Sorry but because he shares an agent you think that will give us an advantage in a sense? Jose shares an agent with Ronaldo but there is no chance in hell of us signing him, if thats the case then we have the possibility of signing about 50 top players because they share an agent with Jose. Also because the two owners are Russian you think that will smooth it out? How? There is no possible chance that he will 'smooth the way' for transfer, they bought him for 60m do you think hes going to say 'Roman my friend, I don't know you but your Russian so here offer me £40 million monies for Radamel and I will give him to you' .... The thing that is going against this is that apparently Jose has been told he will not be given money to invest in January. He wants to sell all 3 strikers apparently as well, which I can't see happening, especially if he won't be given a lot of money to get strikers in January. Who is going to sell their striker in January? Dortmund won't, they said they would rather lose Lewa on a free than sell him, Monaco won't sell Falcao in January as they want CL football, Porto are in a 3 way title race they need Martinez to stay until May as well... so its quite impossible looking at it
