I actually expect Zouma to start at CB and I also fully expect to see Rami in the XI as well.

On current form, it's hard to see Boro getting automatic promotion. Karanka really needs to take some advie from Jose on how to rally the team.
-
Rickie Lambert, of course!

Yeah, but I think starting next season or the one after. Co-ownership is usually used to make some very 'fishy' deals in Italy.

They can extend the loan for another year by paying just one million euros and at the end of that year, they can buy him for 18 million euros. I don't think he is gone and he has clearly not given up on his career with Chelsea. Since he has moved to Italy he has refused to give any interviews or talk to the media. Mido, who knows him well, said yesterday it is because he feels that the best way to convey his message is on the field. I think he wants to come back if he has a role here and that means that what Fiorentina want is irrelevant.
-
Alright, but if he isn't, you'll have to pay our money back!

Makes my fucking blood boil From where I come from, that cunt would have been come out of that station in pieces for picking on a woman and her husband! -
Juve, not Fiorentina. Even when we do defend deep, very few teams leave this much space against us. In fact, it's very hard to find teams (Arsenal maybe) that make the naive mistakes Juve did today. For example, the first goal was from a Juve corner where they had only left ONE player back. That's suicide. But take nothing away from Salah who capitalized very well on the mistakes. The run for the first goal was just brilliant.
-
Well, what do you know? It turns out he just needs a run of games to get his sharpness and finishing back. Granted, Juve played to his strengths today, but he's been nothing short of deadly in the past few games.

Missing out on top four would probably be most damaging to united, but on the other hand it might get them to fire the current lunatic and get someone who can actually get them competing for the title again. Tough one. With the squad they have they should absolutely be challenging for the title. It's a crime that they haven't.

I think he was tired. He looked like he didn't want to press half of the times leaving Oscar to do double the work.
-
This made me smile: Jose: "I forget the names of my goalkeepers now. I just know the big guy with an orange shirt is always phenomenal, whoever plays."

@The Chels, how does that with and without 'stat' look now? Trophies won: Without Matic 1 With Matic 0. We should just sell him On a serious note, as I said after the Burnley match, the performance of the team changes more from game to game than with or without a certain player and that change is a function of too many variables and even the results often don't reflect the performance. We won two very big matches without Nemanja, but we didn't play better than we were before his suspension. We kept two clean sheets, but we were more exposed defensively than we've been for much of the season with Matic. For me, that with and with stat is still mostly meaningless and can rarely be used as an indicative of anything.

I think Jose was just taking the piss tbh

Any news on Gomis? Didn't look good at all, but I heard he was conscious when he left the ground.
-
Nope. I tried, but I won't ever understand the discussions about Oscar. I just don't see any of it. In my world, he had a pretty good game like most of our players today. He linked up very well with Eden and Cesc, and his movement was excellent. In defense he was also probably the player that pressed the most in our team (mainly because Diego looked tired/not arsed to press half of the time). Made a few wrong decisions on the ball, but that's very normal for all of our attacking players.
-
As I said prior to the match, the lineup today was spot on. The tactics turned out to be good as well. Yes, the game was too open to actually control, but to be fair, Costa scores 1vs1 on 35 mins and the match is over. Same applies to Rami and Hazard on several occasions. Only thing that frustrated me is how long it took him to take Diego off in the second half. But again, Jose has showed great pragmatism and tactical know-how against a very tough team when both of our DMs where out.

Hahahahahaha

It's a talent, really. Almost an art.

Ramires MOTM for me. I thought he was excellent in both attack and defense throughout the match and incredibly unlucky not to add at least one goal to his assist.

John Terry's stats prove he is 10 times better this season

Right on cue he picks one up tonight! -
I think I had about 7 heart attacks. How in the world did that only end 1-0?! No matter, 3 points, 5 at the top and a game in hand! :blue scalf:

Bloody hell, this match is NOT good for my health!

That would have been some goal! Brilliant, brilliant move.
