So how can you say that is is impossible for Ramires to be a better option? It's always tough to move in January when the team is already settled, especially to a top team where the stakes are higher. He doesn't need to score or assist to get a start, but he needs to have a good performance and bring a positive change to the team which he has failed to do in all of his starts and sub appearances so far.

You see how you are exaggerating again or do I have to use another series of sarcastic questions? Ramires has had many better performances for us on the wing than Cuadrado has. I'm all for giving Juan chances, but 1) this is not a match for chances given our last 2 results. 2) I think he should get starts when he starts influencing the game off the bench not after he just had a bad sub performance.

This is also a player who has moved to a new team and league less than two months ago and has yet to show anything special or even that he is adjusting well to the move.

But hasn't everyone for a whole week been saying how this is a must win match? If Jose had taken a chance and it did not work out, some on here would probably be breaking into his house tonight... I think when he has a real impact off the bench, then he should start the following match. But why should he be awarded for a pretty bad sub performance?

He is if we want to press high up the pitch. He also gives us more dynamism because he can switch positions (and cover) for all of Willian, Cesc and Matic. Cuadrado is of course better in the final third in passing creativity and scoring. Different options.

What exactly led you to believe that he would start? Was it the fact that he hasn't started a match in over a month? Or that he was beyond terrible in his last sub appearance?

By watching them both regularly? How do you meassure that Iva is physically stronger than Azpi? Can you say that it cannot be considered a fact? I'm not talking about one performance, in fact I barely saw parts of the rerun of City vs Barca because I was watching the Juve match. But if we're talking about physical strength in general, Tevez is stronger. He also knows how to use his strength better and is fearless in collissions and tackles.

It is of course your opinion, but "stronger physically" and "can hold the ball better" are just factually incorrect. Aguero is faster, but in tight spaces, Tevez can dribble past players much better. His close-control is unreal. For me, Aguero is a better goal scorer, but Tevez overall brings more to the table. Can't be controversial since I agree with all of it.
