  1. 3-1 and penalties. Cech to earn GOD status after saving crucial last penalty. Crowd goes beserk. Sky turns Blue. Every Chelsea fan acting like that Chelsea Fan at the Liverpool Game. What a game. What a Night. OMFG.
  2. 3 points .... thats all that matters.... for some reason under AVB, we were in positions with a lead and always never ended up 3 points.... 2 games... 2 wins... tney dont need to be pretty.... We need champions league and with tothenam struggling, it has become more of a chance of us closing the gap.... i think we have a tothenam fixture left as well.... forget napoli... if we play really well.... not likely and go through... good... but this season cl trophy is not our priority.... keep the squad fit and keep them motivated.,.... i like how di matteo has chosen his squads so far,.,... almost every player in the squad has played.... that keeps the morale and motivation of the entire squad positive... knowing that they will get playing time.... Tough next 2 games....fingers crossed.... lets do napoli 2-0 and city 1-0 scrappily. come on!!!!
  3. Lol.... Good that you're dreaming.... surely a sign of better things to come... Well they cant get any worse....Only way is up....Starting today....win by 3 goals. Come on!
  4. Jose Mourinho FTW. He has gone places and won everything, but for some reason, i think he is a blue inside. He's got Chelsea DNA. It will be the best thing to happen in 2012. The Prodigal Son Returns.
  5. Well, its not about him doing anything to deserve it, he will be hungry to prove himself . Torres was dropped when he wasnt performing. So the same fate should fall on drogba and sturridge, as they are not doing enough to win their positions. We can try our Lukaku too. Drogba really doesnt do much and is really ineffective during most games this season. Torres on the other hand creates quite a few assists and good link up play. He isnt great either but not as bad as people make him out to be. I think both Drogba and him provide something different, but when drogba isnt providing what he is good at, Torres should get a chance. Or Lukaku. Or sturridge. During many games, Drogba starts and then Torres comes on as a sub in the 80th minute, because drogs isnt being able to do his thing. Their is nothing wrong in trying it the other way round. Torres starting and if he cant do shit, drogs on 70 mins.
  6. RDM will definitely change the formation. He always played the 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1 at west brom, and im quite certain he will change our formation to that. It will sort our midfield out as we will have more bodies in midfield, and even if we get caught on the counter we will still have 6 players + goalie behind the ball. Even if our players will not play well, we will still remain solid, like the old days, and we will nick the points with such a formation/strategy. Our midfield formation was so freakin weak with AVB , that the ball hardly ever posed any danger... and when we lost the ball and players got a bit lazy/tired the other team managed to get in a goal. I have a good feeling with RDM, his tactics are more suited to the current crop of players that we have. My Formation: cech ivanovic luiz cahill Cole Meireles Romeu/Essien Ramires Lampard Mata Torres (Sturridge and Drogba are off form like no tomorrow, Torres deserves his chance) OR If RDM wants to go really attacking like he did sometimes at west brom then Cech iva luiz cahill Cole Essien Lampard ( Essien holding while lampard has freedom to get in the box from time to time) Sturridge Mata Ramires Torres Future is bright. Present will improve.
  7. AVB was Proud and a bit Arrogant, like mourinho, but he came to a club like chelsea too early in his career. While it was Our boards' fault that we offered to buy out his contract and get him here, considering the humungous task at hand ,i.e. rebuilding our club by getting new players and phasing out the old guard, AVB wasnt at fault for taking the job. It was too big a job to give to an inexperienced manager( 1and a half years of top level management i consider as inexp). The facts before hiring him were ridiculous... not what avb had done...but what he had to do. You hire a 33 year old, who is the same age as alot of our golden oldies, to replace them. He didnt command respect when he entered, as they possibly still saw him as the young scout. While he should have been given more time, and im sure he will do well elsewhere in the coming years, he wasnt the right man for the job, and while we all hoped he grew into it and took us places, he rubbed too many people the wrong way and most importantly, was not able to get players playing for him. He did not show signs of a great manager till now, and always spoke of the future. While most, simply because we could not afford to fire another manager, started dreaming of a sparking future, his present was so horrible that the future he kept speaking about kept getting on slippery ground with every disgusting performance and loss. The reason i am not so angry like most of you is that while this season i lost all hope in players AND the manager, in terms of players actually TRYING and the manager being able to motivate them My hopes for this season with players turning up with avb managing VS the same shite happening every week were 10-90 Meanwhile AVB talked about the project and next season. That project being successful with his track record of man management, motivation and tactical abilities was 50-50. For me, he might have had too many problems to deal with, but i never thought or believed for one second that he was the man to take chelsea to the next level, but since he was our manager, I Hoped. Now he is gone. Our old guard still needs to go. Shit happens, alot with our club. I for one, would love for Mourinho back. Not Rafa. And please, let this manager have experience and the respect the moment he walks in. AND...... Get Wilkins back.
  8. We're Fucked. Not only this season but also next season, so dont pin up all hopes of success for next season. We need a player clear out of quite a few players which if replaced well will be expensive. Then they still have to play well together.... it is not a given that who ever comes in will fit into the team seamlessly. Our problems run much deeper, and one summer transfer window will not miraculously fix everything.
  9. AVB is a brilliant manager and has shown it time and again this season.... He has come and improved players and team performances. His tactical ingenuity has really affected our team positively, and his ability to motivate our team is too damn good. His man-management skills over the season show that he is actually experienced and mature enough as a manager to handle a club like chelsea. Our players are the root cause of everything bad thats happening. I think he should be the man who should be given the job of rebuilding our club. Every action of his and his team have given me hope and signs that this man has the ability to make chelsea great again, and save it from the sinking ship that it is now. KTBFFH!
  10. hey everyone, i might be wrong, and please correct me if i am.... expanding stamford bridge means a 10-20000 seat expansion , and since the seating will not be horizontal enough, expanding would mean going more vertical upwards which will not make viewing as good, therefore the ticket prices for the upper seats will not be able to be priced high.... that means the money spent on building will take forever to be recovered as revenue from that extra seating will not be enough.... with FFP coming in, that expense will probably mean we have much less or nothing{?} to spend.... i am in the real estate business in india, and i cant specifically recall, but i discussed with a colleague who is a epl fan, that in london/england, there are laws regulating how a building renovation/ new building/stadium construction affects properties around it, such as sunlight blocking, traffic volumes, road capacities around the stadiums etc.... even though it is possible for chelsea to build on stamford bridge, if city councils allow it, firstly the surrounding vicinity owners have to give a no objection certificate and will have to be paid, legally, hefty amounts to them for such a move. on the other hand, if we build a new stadium, it will cost a whole lot, and even though arsenal have not spent much since the emirates, the FFP were not applicable then. Their loss of quality due to less money does show. they create stars and then they leave. If we build a new stadium, that means we have a long time to recover costs, and FFP wont allow roman ro bankroll as it has been. So is it not a loss-loss both ways? however if we do move, since the CPO presently dont want to sell, the club should calculate stadium costs, and based on that if a Pitch owner has 10 shares now, not to reduce their investment, but since only chelsea/roman will be investing, take that into account and instead of 10 shares, that person will have maybe 3-4 shares, since that person has made no further investment in the new stadium and new pitch.
  11. Anyone done any sort of real calculations on how much we can actually spend in the summer, without selling players? all the players sales money im quite sure a club can spend, but how much can we spend keeping FFP in mind?? I doubt we can buy 5-6 players like we need, and top quality.
  12. AVB Yet again persists with his portuguese cuntmuscles..... is he completely delusional or what? Mereiles has done nothing for us EVER.... Bosingwa is a fucking cancer, Malouda is a waste of space,,,, What is wrong with his selections all the freakin time>>? And if David Luiz cannot be tought soon, that he is a defender and doesnt need to dribble or act smart while defending, drop him to the youth squad to go learn some basics. meireles never again. Malouda still has some skill. Our team AVB : Bad decision making at the vital times and generally not in control. cech : still got it Cahill : will get better Luiz : not ronaldinho please, just do basic defending Terry : leader Ramires : cant shoot, average passing, not strong, too incomplete a player,,,,will never be a finished product. mereles : the less said, the better,,,,horrible player.worse than torres. malouda : sweet guy....tries Atleast, but...... hes over. mata : goood sturridge : will always play too solo.... got a year left on contract....let him go and get a right sided winger who plays for the team. drogba : He is simply too old... hes done... leadership only counts for that much, Legend . Lampard : Graceful exit please! 3-1....lol.... what a useless "team" we have....
  13. THERES NOTHING LIVE ABOUT THIS CHAT IF YOU HAVE TO KEEP REFRESHING
  14. Malouda and Merieles ....pathetic performance... wtf is our defense doing.
  15. not that i think he is not a good player or anything.... he is one of the better ones around.... i think he is a bit overhyped.... but he is really young as well. So if we wait for him to develop, someone else signs him, as we miss our chance. Id rather see hulk come on the left wing, while mata replaces lampard in midfield. then you have mata and a DM positions taken up in midfield, leaving one spot, which ramires currently occupies, and he is getting better and better since he came. So benching him will be harsh... and mcheachran needs to become first teamer at some point, and that will never happen if we keep signing more players in his position. that leaves the question that can we even accomodate another top player in our midfield. If we can, then gotze and hulk and maybe hamsik will be great sigings, but i pick hulk over gotze. Basically, in my head, when i said "i dont want him", i basically meant i want us to sign hulk as he will add a whole new dimension to our play, while gotze will be improving a dimension that we already have.... but if we can have both, then bring them in!! i just hope mchechrean gets the chance he deserves.

  17. We wont manage to get any of them.... Neymar to real or barca, Hazard to Totthenam or arsenal or city and gotze i dont want him.
  18. Havent seen any comments on Lampard and AVB , when lampard was coming on. I think Lampard has had it with AVB and his tactics, selections and the way AVB is. The way Lampard just walked off when AVB was trying to give him directions was quite an open show of his feelings towards VB....Lampard seemed like he was saying "whatever" to avb and walking off( in his head). AVB said in his post match interview that we played with passion and fought hard for the ball etc. What? Btw, i was playing FIFA today and the commentators said stamford bridge had a capacity of 100,000 at one time, and we hosted FA cup finals... Anyone know what happended? Why do we only have 40,000 seats now?
  19. Well Chelsea Squad from then is 4 years older and we have lost some good players from those times.... with the remaining players from 2007-8 fading. Also we suffer as we have a mixed bag of players with too many conflicting styles. Porto are still doing well without Boas, are 2nd in the league and have only lost 1 game in 18 games this season. source : http://soccernet.esp...se-liga?cc=4716
  20. I Agree,,,, The test for AVB at Chelsea is to inherit a broken team and rebuild it. Since he does not have any previous experience in such a scenario, it will be really tough, and he needs to stand up and be counted. He does probably have the money though.
  21. Isnt that a fact? Do you disagree that they both inherited good squads? Yes it is my opinion, that i felt it was factual. 1.They did have good squads. 2. They did'nt have good squads I picked 1.
  22. Sunderland, from being talked about as relegation candidates are now flying high.... Martin o'neill is a class manager.... He took players that looked lazy and unmotivated and got them playing good football and winning again.... He deserves the plaudits and as well as being used as an example. In order to make a point, selectiveness is key, as all managers cant work players the same way. Anyways, that post was what i thought. Moving on.
  23. "9. I feel he got lucky with Porto, simply because the team he inherited was very good, same as what happened in Chelsea when Avram Grant took over" firstly, I Said I " feel" .... not i "know" and FACT is that both managers inherited good squads in their respective clubs. AVB'S squad won the europa cup, while avram grant almost won us our first CL. I really dont understand where you're coming from .... i was just stating a fact, not making an argument without any basis or proof. I think you didnt like the word "lucky".... well he was fortunate to inherit a good squad. And as you would have read in my post, i said he did a good job managing porto, and thats great, but a club like chelsea is a completely different and much much tougher scenario, considering every part of our club seems to be in shambles.
