Bad Tactical setup by Dimatteo,,,,first time i think he has messed up tactically.... How on earth can you choose a team WITHOUT a playmaker??? Our midfield is 2 defensive midfielders.... one runner/drifter.... Right winger and left winger are both junk.... Who is supposed to make the plays and create chances??

Torres has got to play....against newcastle. In general, i dont think torres should play against liverpool in the final.... He is a Chelsea player now, but is still a liverpool fan.... Not saying that he will not play well because of that,,,, these sorts of things affect players subconscously at some level. Going to be a tough tough game tonight, and im starting to wonder how many herculean performances do we have left in us this season.... By the way things are going, we should be able to win.... However, when it comes to Chelsea winning games convincingly, we HAVE to score early to settle our nerves.... they will get a goal for sure, we just have to start well and score first. This match, and the Bolton Tottenham game should pretty much decide top 4. Bolton are fighting for survival, and at home they should be a tough to beat, a draw will do. Newcastle still have city. So if we win, its in our hands, if we dont, then i think totthenam will clinch it in the coming weeks.

Well i went bonkers and did the silent shouting to the core....230 am..... Went crazy for 2 minutes throwing fist pumps and doing the victory dance. flexing full body in macho fashion saying yeaaahhhh cmoooon etc..... my dogs were staring at me thinking whether ive lost the plot in the middle of the night,,,,, was watching on projector, so tripped on the hdmi cable and fell badly on the ground during one of the many rounds of my room victory dance,,,, then got up and started again. Really regret the difference of time zones.... otherwise i would have gone out and had the most insane drunken night of my life. Best moment so far as a chelsea fan. Nothing beats it. Manu Chelsea final wasnt as epic as this semi. The beauty of the Torres goal celebrations is that no matter where any chelsea fan was watching or hearing as he went and scored, every single person at that present moment, lost all inhibitions and consciousness and celebrated in the most raw human fashion ever, including me. At that moment, every thing in life was forgotten and there was only joy and jubilation. Such moments dont come often and none of us will ever forget how we felt at that moment, after the most emotionally exhausting game in our history. This is why I love Chelsea.... The team has heart....which i have not seen in any other team in the world. PS for once every fan from around the world who call us Chelsea and take potshots all the freakin time, applauded us and gave the respect and admiration that was deserved.... great moment.

We have indeed played rubbish football alot this season... But for some reason everyone saying that if Chelsea go through to the finals, it will be a win for Anti Football.... They seemed to have forgot, we have played plenty of attacking football to reach here, and played some of the games of the tournament attacking wise while getting here.... In the course of The CL.....13 games are played.... If we play 2 games defensively, then we cant be branded as Anti-Football.... However, If we go through to the finals, and still play this brand of football, then Our victory will not be one worth Cherishing.... The Final must have good attacking football from both sides. It must be Epic. Anyways this match is so unpredictable, first time i have absolutely no idea who will go through. White kit will be interesting.

It will be Miraculous if we go through this tie.... Not that it is not concievable.... But ... If we dont score... We will be knocked out.... My gut feeling is that either we will go through on any no, of possible scorelines.... Or we will be humiliated 4-0 or 4-1.... This is the type of match that Chelsea FC needs to pick itself up and believe that we're one of the worlds best again.

Mata Drogba Torres Lampard Meireles Mikel Cole Cahill Terry Ivanonic Cech ..... I think we need both, speed and ability to hold the ball upfront, therefore Drogba for holding the ball , winning headers, and torres for the pace and workrate on the right.... Mata for the creativity to get both these players in behind the barca defense.... Lampard can play a defense/attack role where he balances both, instead of being an attacking midfielder only.... and the cover of mikel and meireles.... Meireles with his tackles and hard play, while mikel is the defensive sweeper ahead of our defense.... The reason i have left out sturridge is simply that we will not have too many important moments while attacking, but i fear if he gets a chance, he will make the wrong choice, as he has done many times before, and even if he decides to pass, his passing ability is quite poor IMO..... Sturridge can be our super sub...... Ramires also loses the ball too much... so its better not to have him starting, as we need to settle into the game before making the charge.... Ramires also as a sub, as other players will be tiring, and he will be able to beat players with his pace and be more effective.... We need to win this game tactically.... Our players are not as skillful and cohesive as Barca, but if we start with the right mix and introduce players such as sturridge and Ramires around the 70th minute mark, we can tactically beat them. I really cant see us getting thrashed or even beaten in this match.... already feeling the tension and anxiously looking forward to this match... The way other fans are acting like we are going to be slaughtered makes me want us to shut every one up. Score in the first 10 minutes.... KTBFFH! 3-1 Chelsea or 1-1 draw

People need to get over what happened in 2009.... Its done. Simple as that. Barca did NOT pay the referees Uefa isnt into some sort of conspiracy against Chelsea or the Premiership. The referee had a howler of a game and was overwhelmed by the occasion and the implications of each and every decision he would make. We should show some class and concentrate on the match, rather than talking about how Barca and Uefa are scheming..... However, on a more realistic note, Arsenal and Barca are very similar in one way.... both try and play good attacking football, but when things arent going their way, their usual grace is replaced with disgraceful behavior at times.... A couple of days back against Levante i think, they were 1 nil down, and in order to get back into the game, Cuenca cheated and won a penalty.... possibly the worst dive ive seen this season.... Normally, even when a player tries to win a penalty, he is expecting the tackle to come in and to get a touch and then go down.... As i said in my post, there is nothing wrong with terry, just that we cant always expect him to be the saviour when the team around him is crumbling..... Mata is indeed our best player.... But he needs to toughen up a bit .... a little bit more of running with the ball wont do him any harm considering he has the trickery and pace. As for Lampard, im talking about him more wholistically, He fails to really affect the game too much, but has a few bright moments.... not enough sadly. Great penalty taker no doubt, but he used to be the one making the runs into the box, getting a touch and winning penalties earlier on.... While he still might have the drive, he doesnt have the legs or the creativity that he had once.... I love Lampard, and he is a legend, but i hope this is his last season for us. and i said nothing for 85 minutes .... the other 5 minutes he made a few good passes and scored the pen.

3-1 to spurs. The players dont have the legs to win this one. No logical reason to expect the players to raise their game.... We simply dont have a specific 'game' style. Just get ball, get nervous, pass back. If it goes back to Cech, then he takes two touches and decides to try and make the ball touch the sky , which in turn starts the other team's attack. Mata cant run with the ball.... A few good touches of magic during the game, but the rest 80 minutes , being bullied all over the field. Drogba is past it. Torres is erratic as hell. Lampard does nothing for 85 minutes. Kalou is a Legend. Malouda doesnt fit into our squad anymore. Meireles is really not worth talking about. Ramires makes an effort, has no fine skills. Mikel hasnt improved over the last few years, and is the same player as he was. Terry can only put his body on the line so many times, while Cech makes some good saves, his positioning in goal has become quite bad. Our forward has no supply, Our midfield has no cohesion or tempo, our defense is devoid of communication and persistence. Spurs are not in form. They will still beat us. And outplay us. DOOM AND GLOOM!!!! What a Post!!

I Just hope that this time around, Roman does a complete overhaul, not only of the squad, but also the board room, the processes , the power structures and channels involved in every step of our club. Integration of youth into senior team needs some sort of structure in a club like ours.... Otherwise it only takes one failed process to slowly pollute and spoil every other function of the club. Cannot explain the depths of how much last nights result has got to me.
