Every Chelsea Forum is up except this one whenever there is a spike in traffic. This is getting increasingly annoying and is happening more and more. Change the Hosting Service for gods sake.

haha yeah obviously! But i had thought maybe in 1-2 years he would come in....Now he will be out on Loan for atleast 2 seasons more.... by then he will want to play somewhere else.... he wont wait till 2016.
-
Why did we sign Curtois?? He will be gutted. Great Keeper, never going to see him in blue.

http://www.talksport.co.uk/magazine/big-picture/2011-10-13/worlds-most-popular-football-club-revealed-man-united-liverpool-arsenal-barca-real-or-chelsea?p=12 THIS. Whos the small club ? Children think they will become astronauts. You think you're a big club.
-
I meant THIS season. And you still didnt answer my question. You seem to be quite a proud person, well name your club then.
-
Yes we are a small club with "SMALL" History. We have shitloads of money, and can buy the best talent in the world. Our fanbase is increasing rapidly, while many other big clubs are growing slowly, or having a massive decline in their fanbase. We have a winning mentality NOW and will keep winning in the future. We just won the champions league. What did your club win? And mind you, we are the fastest growing fanbase in the world over the last decade, and still growing rapidly. What club do you support? Lets hear it!!
-
Well i think Justin3d usually writes good posts..... god knows whatever he did to you guys in the past.... This gang mentality on this forum at times is quite pathetic.
-
I'd like to see One/two of the worlds best CF's play for Chelsea in the future. I dont think Lukaku or Sturridge will ever be that good. If Sturridge becomes our CF, we will be moving backwards IMO. Those are the sort of expectations liverpool fans have nowdays. I really hope sturridge is sold. Dont care if he bangs in 20 goals for Bolton or Sunderland. I cant imagine ever having to playing with a Sturridge type of player in the same team. I would lose the plot. Actually, i dont want him to be sold, but keep him as a super sub, but if he cant understand his place in the team , and has overambition and wants to become a star too fast, then he can leave. Another one of AVB's man-management errors. Yes, you have a player coming back from a good loan spell. Slowly get him back into the team with his feet on the ground..... instead AVB played him every single game as if he was the biggest star of chelsea and was irreplaceable. Now Sturridge thinks he is Messi.
-
I hope sturridge takes over the role of Kalou once he leaves this summer. We need a new super sub, and sturridge will be perfect for that role. Obviously he should play a bit more than kalou did, but for a right winger, i hope we buy a right winger, not someone who doesnt want to be a winger and we're trying to convert.... a classic winger with a right foot is what we need. Or if it is someone like hulk, then doesnt matter if he is left footed. He is the type of standard we need as a starter.... sturridge might develop into a class player, but till he doesnt , he should not be a starter.
-
Dont like sturridge at all.... He is too solo minded and his attitude will work and he would thrive at a mid table team, where he would be the best player. In Chelsea his style of play simply does not work. Even if he is to develop as a CF, i dont see him as a top top striker. He seems so good to alot of people because he is British, and yes, he is one of the best english striking talents coming up, but when you look around in the world, he wont be in the top 20 possibly, and a club like us needs a striker that will be in the top 5-top 10 in the world. Those are my 2 cents. Sometimes, you know that a player is either a nani or a valencia. Sadly, i have come to believe he is a Nani.

Drogba won the ECL not Di Matteo
The Rising Sun replied to marc15050's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Dont be hypothetical. We would have played a different game altogether, and any amount of results could have happened. The fact is that Di Matteo chose Drogba, and the formation, and Bertrand as well as everyone else. I can imagine if we lost, you would have said Bertrand lost us the game and Robbie was wrong to chose him. The fact is that he had to make bold decisions over this CL campaign and he came out with flying colours. -
Drogba won the ECL not Di Matteo
The Rising Sun replied to marc15050's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Ashley Cole won us the CL with that goal line clearance against Napoli . Torres won us the CL by assisting Kalou against Benfica away, and Barca ofcourse and creating the corner against Bayern. Cech won us the CL by saving Robben penalty, and every save through the year. Ramires won us the CL by scoring that stunning goal vs Barca and assisting Drogba vs barca. Lampard won us the CL by assisting 2 goal out of 3 vs Barca Mata won us the CL through a great cross to drogba Drogba won us the CL by scoring that goal. Di Matteo won us the CL by sitting behind closed doors and analysing our best approach and training all these players to do a job. If your statement is taken seriously, then Robben won us the CL by missing that Pen Messi won us the CL by missing his Pen It is a culmination of everything. Have you read this article? it shows that di matteo not only took care of our on field tactics but also made sure everyone was emotionally ready for the final. i think it was a really amazing touch by him, that reminded players there is a lot more to love in life, and not to go on the pitch with memories of the past and pressure and nervousness that could have been disastrous for us. Thats great management. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4328537/Chelseas-secret-video-ahead-of-Champions-League-final-win.html ..... What needs to be done is for the club to ask him to put forward his vision and proposal for the future and how will he do it. He knows how to steady a ship and keep players interested and motivated, as long as he has the correct ideas and plan for the future, he should get the job. SIGN HIM UP. He is already a legend, he is blue at heart, and will give his all for 'his' club. And Yes, while everyone has their opinion, your view was quite subtractive, rather than analytical. -
Download links anyone?? watched it on the most laggy stream ever.... Will be eternally greatful , and Chelsea will win CL next year too if anyone has the links!
-
Simply because he is 34 now, and we need to be building for the future now, rather than delaying again and again. Lampard is a midfielder who can still provide a whole lot as a DM, and can become like Scholes and Giggs. With drogba, our play will always be skewed towards the ' hit in air' = drogba try to win it.... We need to become faster in play and play more on the ground. I would have loved for him to stay as a player, but for us as a club to move on, i am of the opinion that our base needs to change. After Lampard in one of his interviews said that he like Robbie because he played him more than "the other guy", i am a little pissed at that sort of behavior. If Robbie doesnt play him much next season then Lampard might say the same thing about him. Frankly, if we get the correct replacement, i dont mind if Lampard goes as well. I am really looking forward to a new Chelsea, a new style, with flair and where the issue of player power does not exist anymore.

Three days ago, we had deadwood that needed to be cleared out. Today, we have legends that are leaving on the greatest high. They had to go then, and they have to go now. But they made history and earned the title of legends. Drogba has been a beast for us, however, if our club has to move forward, he has got to go. Kalou has been a great servant to the club, so humble and yet always trying. Who needs messi when we had Kalou? Thank you for everything. Malouda too has surprised me with his dignity and humbleness when he went out of favour, choosing to say he will win back his place rather than giving some shady interview to the media. Lampard must be converted to a defensive midfielder. MUST. He is great as a DM, at this age. Lampard Mikel as DM's are the perfect combo. Mikel breaks up play while lampard makes the transition play from defense to attack. Ferreira has known his place at chelsea and always given his all when given a chance. Great man. Bosingwa never really made the cut at chelsea and sending him off with a CL medal is perfect. Essien is past it. Very respectful and loved player, thats why nobody got on his back this season, but he too should go. There might be more players or less, but what this win has done for this club is so fucking FULL CIRCLE, that now, 1. we can attract top talent 2. CL next year 3. Increased our reputation as a club worldwide, not CL pretenders anymore. 4. Money from CL Win and Participation next year 5. Sending out all our "legends, earlier known as deadwood" on a massive high 6. NO HISTORY MY ASS. Most Importantly, it has kickstarted a project, that OTHER players will want to come and be a part of. Our performances in the Semis and Finals were so defensive, that other players will already know that chelsea needs top attacking talent, and they will play a huge role in changing the playing style of Chelsea. More motivation. More history. More Chelsea. Come on. MARIN IS ALL IN. HULK IS ALL IN. CHELSEA FC IS ALL IN. WHO'S NEXT?
-
What you dont realise is that we were playing brilliant attacking and expansive football till 2-3 seasons ago, its not like we have played like this forever. Its the failure to get in the right coaches to take the team forward and make a good base for attacking football that has resulted in us not having a fluid attacking play, therefore at the moment, we have to set up tactically to first nullify the opponents attacking play, then have a few chances on the counter. We dont have players that can run at oponents ./..... However, we are now letting our golden oldies move on, and are setting up a great base on which to build, and our game will become more stylish and attacking again. The fact is that sheer perseverance passion and grit won us this CL, and it will be in the history books forever. next season we will have marko marin and hulk as well in the team, and im sure atleast one more flair player to come. Add that to Mata Torres Ramires and the others and we will be a much more exciting outfit again. Watch out next season! The Bus was parked this season, but we are close to finishing building our supersonic train and will be demolishing teams with fast pacy attacking football. The Barca and Bayern games were one off games, and trust me on this, we did play great football, and next season we will play attractive football again, after all, we are the Champions of Europe!
-
We're being credited as the story of the year and heroics of the 'against the odds' kind. We are an inspiration to all other teams , which says sheer will and determination can give you more than half a chance, some luck is always good, as when the bad luck is happening, no one notices. The fact is, that we as a team, who are not playing great football and are transitioning from the hangover of playing styles old players of old managers and players in the twilight of their careers, still have the heart and passion that seemed missing from the mechanical, almost like computer code style that barca play, or the general mechanical game that bayern played, didnt see that much passion from them, trying to win balls, be aggressive and make things happen. Anyways, you have your color tinted shades on, so do i. Atleast everyone i know is happy for chelsea and feel like our name was written in the stars, Chelsea is the story of this Year. The Media also is praising and championing the great effort by chelsea. Dont know if in norway its different, but everywhere else, chelsea is getting plaudits left right and centre. Be appreciative and gracious, and many good things will happen TO you. This current behavior will only pull you down.

Congratulations to every blue in the world today! Champions of Europe! This win means so much, it cannot be put into words.... Forget our history, We've just made it. ( or rather proved our credentials) The trajectory of our future depended on this match, and well we've got a 72 million payout , so we can go ahead and buy the best without worrying about FFP. We are in the CL, so attracting big players wont be a problem. Welcome Marin, Welcome Hulk.... Welcome to the champions of Europe! You have big boots to fill and great history to keep and continue. Cant wait for next season. Thank you Drogba! Legendary status : Completed!

just watched the city qpr game again today,,,, even i felt emotional when aguero scored.... Hoping our CL fate is as emotional and uplifting, and we have the trophy after so many ups and downs.... cant wait. will be devastated if we lose. Its time our Chelsea Legends well and truly leave a legacy of winners. With everything we have been through the last few years, we need this.

Cech Bos luiz cahill cole Mikel Romeu Lampard Torres Mata Drogba Subs : Sturridge Essien Reasons: Defense: Those are our best back 4 presently Defensive midfield: We need mikel and Romeu to break up the play. Mikel has become much faster and more forward in his passing, while romeu hits his tackles hard and is very composed on the ball. Playmaker : Lampard sitting infront of the Defensive midifelders getting the pass and using vision and defense splitting passes to put in our attacking Trio. He will do his fair share of defending as well as make runs into the box if given the oppurtunity. Most importantly, his latest skill at this new role is his ability to give great balls when counterattacking..... Chelsea's biggest weapon this CL final IMO. Drifter - Mata will be our Attacking Trump card having a free role and license to roam around the Strikers and midfielders, providing assistance as well as moments of magic to open up the play. Winger - Torres has proven over the season that he is much better than sturridge when it comes to finding team mates, putting in great crosses and not being selfish. He will work out well given he has speed and form back on his side,..... His days when he was off form made him a great team player and he unintendedly learnt wide play. If a chance is created, at this point in time, i would any day prefer torres to be taking it rather than Sturridge or Malouda. Also He is Right Footed, and for a Right Winger we need someone with a right foot, rather than sturridge always trying to cut in and malouda....who shouldnt start this game. Drogba Torres cannot Start together- as strike partners!.... but Torres as a wide man will be great.... What service and balls to drogba to attack! Mouth Watering.... Striker : Drogba. Legend. A win is Unlikely, but thats our favourite word nowdays as well as 'against the odds'. We can be the story of the Year. This CL win will be so much more in terms of History, tracing back to Club turmoil, needing a win against Valencia, then The Napoli Heroics, then Benfica, followed by the greatest CL performance by any team against Barca, then playing in the finals against a team in their home stadium and winning! We will all have stories to tell, for generations to come. BUT. We have to win first. KTBFFH.
-
RDM has fucked up for the 2nd time in 2 weeks.... you can not put a team out without a playmaker.... Fucking bad tactics, bad team put out.
-
Why do you feel sympathy for chelsea?? We've just won the FA Cup and are in the CL finals.... Anyways, WELCOME!!
