  1. Arbeloa looks thinner and scrawnier than usual. He looks really dehydrated and weak.
  2. Neymar has been fucking electric during this tournament. That goal just made my jaw hit the floor. Brazil is making it look easy to beat Spain. He has justified his hype and transfer to Barcelona. Watch out Europe...
  3. My god. My jaw hit the floor. How did he keep that out!?
  4. Why was this 'El Guaje' fella banned? He wasn't an alt of Santiago was he?
  5. Bored as a sober sailor right now so I'll flaunt off my recently beardless face:
  6. It was 2000/2001 if you want to be even more pedantic.
  7. Cesc is suffering. As it turns out not only is passing the ball around the 12 yard box for 89 minutes per match in the Barca DNA but so is tapping up players in the media.
  8. Quite a name to live up to with the #10. He better deliver because the expectations will be even higher just from that shirt. Such a shame that the shirt has gone from such a brilliant and lovely man to Tevez. No offence to Tevez of course, but it's plain to see he isn't the same calibre as the previous #10...
  9. Maybe in the morning I'm pretty drunk right now.
  10. They had some awful forwards till now. Vucinic is good but he really isn't the guy to lead the line, whereas Llorente is. Tall powerful and can finish with his head and both feet. Dangerous. Really? That'd be perfect for them. It'd release Asamoah to play back in the midfield where he belongs. They'd be able to rest Marchisio or Vidal by playing Asamoah. Damn, that adds another dimension to their team.
  11. Hah, good call. I thought it looked a little off when I added Pirlo at the end. Thanks.
  12. Juve have a very interesting team next season. They will be challenging for the UCL if everything goes right for them. They've bought some great players that don't really cause a change in tactics. Tevez fits in nicely, hard working and strong, compliments the team very well. I'm no Juve expert, (I'm sure Choulo and Steve would know more than me) but I can see them lining up next season like this: Llorente Tevez Asamoah - Vidal - Marchisio - Lichsteiner Pirlo Chielini - Barzagli - Bonucci Buffon © They have power and strength in aces. Llorente, Tevez, Marchisio, Vidal, Asamoah, the three CBs are all strong athletic players. They'll be bullying teams on the counter all season. I hope we don't draw them in the UCL again next season, I don't really think at the moment we have the midfield to even compete with these guys. To athletic and too powerful. Technically they aren't the greatest team, but they make up for it with everything else.
  13. Your thread derailing right now you hypocrite. At least I have these so called 'butt buddies', what do you have? Who are you? You obviously know who I am but who are you? I'd wager even less people would care if you left. Your the guy that's started an argument with me for no reason, this had nothing to do with you but you couldn't keep your mouth out of it. This bullshit I'm doing with you is the reason I'm posting less and less. The off season drives people mental, nothing to talk about so we start bickering. This is the last I say on the matter. The end.
  14. Because he is skinny or something.
  15. So my opinion is nonsense and I should leave? I'll leave when you get off your high horse. That was a lie, I won't leave if you get off your high horse, I honestly don't care what you do as long as it doesn't concern me. But I'll tell you what I'll do, I won't call people out for having different opinions and telling them to leave. You can say and do what you want mate as long as it's within forum rules but if you marginalise me or my opinion again because it's different you can just fuck right off.
  16. I haven't eaten today and these beers are hitting me hard.
  17. The memory of Drogba far outshadows the actual man. I remember a man that was brilliant and unstoppable on his day but also a man that was maddeningly frustrating off it. I remember when I joined TC, he was one of the more vilified players due to his incredibly bad form, if not for Torres' even worse form, I doubt he would be as loved as he is now. Torres really took the edge off and made us realise (or remember) what a truly bad striker is capable of. Diving, whining and complaining, he did it just as often as he scored in cup finals. Personally I'd rather we all remember the Drogba that scored in cup finals but we can't forget the Drogba that dived, whined and complained. He was never calm nor gracious till his early 30s, before that he was an impetuous young man, but when he did reach his 30s it was as if he was a new person. A legendary hero and a frustrating diva rolled into one man.
  18. Oh look...a few 'innocuous' digs for having an opinion that differs from the status quo. Serves me right for being independent, I'll think again before stating my opinion on this forum. And people ask why I don't post much anymore...
  19. Look at John O'Shea's CV. Longer and more glorified than both my arms put together.
  20. This feels so right. Have some light reading. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/10101-member-of-the-month/#entry224499 Ancellotti is cool, but that doesn't mean he is a competent manager. Real Madrid will be lucky to haul some trophies in with him.
