Hopefully United don't go sniffing around DDR if they lose out on Thiago. Though I'm sure he'd much rather play under Jose than David Moyes.
-
That's....really dumb.Martinez is absolutely class in the middle and its a World Cup year. Why would he agree to move to CB? Strange, but again, fine by me as long as he doesn't go to United. Gonna be tough as hell to win that Super Cup!
-
From one bench to another. Don't see how he'd get more minutes at Bayern than he did at Barca. Oh well! Long as he stays the hell away from the Manc's it's fine by me.
-
Please be true! Wallace would certainly benefit from the experience.
-
Awesome to see his words about MvG. He really will play a good share of games for us this season. Super excited to see him play!
-
I'd be upset of we don't get him and he ends up at one of our rivals. There's really no downside to this transfer. Cheap transfer fee, manageable wages, position we need, massive admirer of our manager. Perfect solution to a problem we have.
-
Don't think he's better than either Ba or Lukaku.Hope there's nothing to this rumor.

Pizy: "Oh, new posts in the Hazard thread. Lets see some pics of him training with Jose and the boys." *enters thread and sees creepy Hazard ass pic*

So if Suarez ends up at City or Arsenal and leads them above us or bangs in 25-30 goals and stays out of trouble, you guys would be perfectly okay with that when we could have just as easily bought him? If Arsene bloody Wenger trusts that he'll be able to straighten him out enough to bid £30m, you guys don't think Jose could? My #1 choice as of right now is still Rooney, but Suarez would be #2.

Can't see us being in for Baines. While Shaw may say he's committing to Southampton, if his boyhood club with Jose Mourinho asked for him I'm sure he'd sign immediately.
-
When has he ever had the responsibility of leading the line for a side challenging for the league or playing the biggest European sides in the Champions League? How many world class players did he play beside during that time? Did he have the best manager in the world coaching him? He's been playing beside mediocre players in a side floundering around midtable for years. You can understand why he acts out and does stupid ass things. It's no excuse, but I'd be frustrated playing at Liverpool too.
-
If you'd rather see Torres stink up the pitch for another season and see us battling for 2-4 than have us buy a world class striker that can help us win every major trophy then you're an idiot in my honest opinion. People can change. We may despise him now, but if he were to join I'd happily cheer him on and watch him bang the goals in. Can't see this one happening though. Think Rooney is more likely than Suarez.
-
Spuds assembling quite a nice little side, annoyingly.
-
Think if Navas settles quickly he'll surprise a lot of people. I think he'll be brilliant for them unfortunately.
-
Double or treble winning potential if we sign a motivated, Mourinho-led Rooney and a top DM in my opinion. If Rooney wants out we MUST sign him.
-
If he's available for a reasonable price(30-35m for someone of his talent) and he moves to one of our rivals and rips it up like last season we're gonna regret it. I wouldn't give a shit what he's done in the past if he scores 25 league goals and stays out of trouble. We've just about run out of options.
-
Bid officially rejected by WBA.
-
Falcao, Cavani, Lewandowski gone. Targets like Suarez and Rooney seem impossible because their teams won't want to sell to direct rivals. Cheaper alternatives that we've previously been linked with like Higuain and Gomez are gone or just about gone. Only highly rated striker that I can think of right now that hasn't moved is Jovetic.
-
Wouldn't have thought Lamps a Ferrari guy. Nice!
-
You really think Wenger would pay that kind of cash?
-
Is pretty incredible that we'll likely start another season with Torres as first choice striker.
-
It's not like his game relies on pace or high athleticism. When I was watching him for Italy during the Confeds these past few weeks he reminded me of Michael Carrick form this past season. Never looks like he's overly exerting himself. It's as though its effortless to him. Just sprays the ball around accurately and is very composed and calm in possession.
-
Exactly.De Rossi + a striker and its business done and ready for preseason.
-
C'mon guys. Do you really think Suarez would act out to the degree he does at Liverpool when he's not THE star man and the one who's expected to do everything for a midtable side like Liverpool? I'm not excusing his stupid actions but you can just tell he's super frustrated in that side knowing that his teammates aren't nearly as good as he is. He took those frustrations out on opposing players which was idiotic. If he was in Chelsea's side I just find it hard to believe that if he had other world class players around him and we were competing for everything AND coached by the best manager in the world that Suarez would be throwing his team under the bus. If he's helping the team push for the title and playing Champions League games I think he'd be doing everything in his power to stay out of trouble. I don't know if I buy the rumor that we want him, but if Jose, Roman, and the board think that they can handle him and think he can be kept under control then we'd have arguably the best striker in the league.
-
So Moyes wants him to stay but doesn't seem like Rooney wants to. If he does though, Cavani to PSG, Falcao to Monaco, Higuain Arsenal... Who's left for us!?
