To be fair mate, it makes sense. He'd likely be first choice right away at Everton as Jelevic has been absolute shit for a while now. It'd be good for Lukaku. Not so sure it would be good for us though unless someone else is brought in.

Don't think anyone here WANTS Mata to be sold. Some of us are just okay with the prospect of losing him as long as a player of his level is brought in. Seeing as that's nearly impossible, he's not going anywhere.

You guys do realize that Veratti is TINY right? He's even smaller than Mata yet plays in a position that you need to actually be physical and tough in. He'd get eaten alive by Yaya, Fernandinho, Carrick, Fellaini and the like. Don't know if he's cut out for a league this physical.
