  1. I just think it's 50m because it's Arsenal that's bidding. Liverpool think of Arsenal as a direct competitor for that coveted 4th spot. They know we're a class above them so I'd think they be much easier to work with than United.I'm sure we could do business with them. Maybe something like 35m + Ba since they're gonna need a striker. Ba could thrive there with the play from the wings they have.
  2. Think about the effect a transfer request would have. It's Moyes' first season with the club which is going to be difficult enough. Imagine what it'll be like if they reject Rooney's transfer request and has every fan booing like crazy and destroying Rooney at every game. He'll be bombarded by Rooney questions at all times and it'll be a MASSIVE distraction for the entire year. If something goes wrong you'll hear "why didn't Rooney play up top?" or "why was Rooney on the bench?" If we bid 30m and he hands in a transfer request I think they'll sell. If not, fuck 'em. Let them keep an unsettled player and we can buy Suarez.
  3. This is getting so bloody frustrating. HAND IN A GODDAMN TRANSFER REQUEST!
  4. Jose probably wanted to protect him from hurting himself. The poor guy may break his neck tripping over the ball like he did earlier.
  5. You can see EXACTLY why Jose really wants Rooney. We have great build up and counter attacks, but as soon as the ball gets up top to a striker it dies. Torres, bless him, works his ass off but simply isn't good enough. We need a forward who can play confidently with the ball at his feet and isn't afraid to have a shot. With Rooney added to our fantastic squad, I think we'll win the league by a margin similar to United last season.
  6. Starting to look like the style I HATED last year. Playing it long constantly, rushing when we have the ball, and allowing them to have all of the possession. So annoying. Settle down and keep possession!

  8. I don't mind it with the exception of Bertrand. Still don't think he's good enough on a consistent basis.Very nice lineup, though. Too bad Frank won't be involved once again.
  9. Don't think it'll be as easy as Inter where we were in cruise control the entire match, but I think we'll win convincingly.
  10. He tweets so much shit that I'm close to I following him. Chelsea aren't a selling club and Luiz loves it here.
  11. If he wanted to stay, why hasn't he come out and immediately rubbished it on twitter or his official site? He released a statement before doing just that.
  12. He scored in their "behind closed doors" friendly today again Real Betis.
  13. I for be still think he'll be a Chelsea player. Not any time soon, unfortunately, but on deadline day.
  14. City made the look like a relegation-bait side the other day in the first half. Wouldn't expect them to look as bad this weekend, especially if they have some key players back like Mario.
  15. He and Ramires should be our first choice in the middle to start the season.
  16. Must say I've liked how Essien has looked.
  17. Haha!I've heard about 12 different pronunciations.
  18. It's artificial turf. Really slows the ball down and makes the players studs stick. Not ideal for this type of football.
  19. The early matches usually start at 7am for me here so it's not quite as bad, but still early. The things I do for love...
  20. De Bruyne I know he isn't being risked, but I wanted to see him play again. Oh well, looking forward to seeing Oscar again.
  21. Funny seeing the reactions here of you guys in Europe about the kickoff time. Now you know the pain some of us must endure regularly during the season!
  22. The main reason he wants out of United is because he doesn't want to play behind the striker. If he comes here he's playing as a #9. Can certainly see he and Lukaku playing together up top plenty of times depending on the opposition and situation.
  23. Good point. I was thinking more along the lines of how their fans are so fickle that they always scream "Wenger out!" every time he's struggles or fucks up and call him the best manager in the world when he's doing well. It'd be hilarious if Wenger finally got fed up with the fans and left for a bigger, better side and Arse couldn't appoint a better manager.Honestly though, who could Arsenal really appoint that's available or looking for a step up? They'd be absolutely clamouring for Klopp but why would he leave his home country where he's managing a much better side than Arsenal with some of the best supporters in world football? There really isn't anyone better for them to get. As far as their transfers go this summer, they'll probably leave it really late once again and hopefully they end up with no one special. Then we can put in a cheeky bid for Wilshere next summer after another frustrating, trophyless season.
  24. I'd do just about anything to see that club and its horrible supporters finish outside of the CL spots. Then Wenger abandons them and moves to Barca or something.
