I'd imagine there are plenty of salty/jealous City fans out there rethinking the "glad we got our business done so early" line. If they would've waited an extra week or two they could've had a much better player in Suarez.

Mouthwatering, really. If his behavior could be kept under control he'd probably be a better fit than Rooney. Ultra hardworking, extremely mobile, links well with the midfield, and doesn't need everything done for him as far as service goes. He can take players on brilliantly and create for himself. We'd have one of, if not the best attack in world football with either of them playing in front of our attacking midfielders.

Suarez playing together with Walcott, Cazorla, and even alongside Giroud who should improve this season is nothing to scoff at. They'd be a genuine threat. Don't want to see this.

Only saving grace here is that he doesn't specifically mention Arsenal. Only that he wants CL. Hopefully this drags until the end so that if we miss Rooney we'll have a fallback option.

I think so too. I just have a feeling that they'll struggle this season unless they make a top class signing or two. Like on the Fabregas or Ronaldo level.I can honestly see them finishing 4th. Telegraph reporting that Arsenal are still keen and that Rooney would still consider moving there. Could you imagine? I absolutely wouldn't put it past Fergie or Moyes to personlly call Wenger and offer them Rooney for less than what we offer. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
