United's defending reminds me of ours under AVB's. Comical, really.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we should be doing any fucking thing it takes to get Suarez. He's absolutely world class and the EXACT type of striker we need. We'd be utterly devastating and unstoppable in the league with him leading our line. I'd happily pay the £45-50m for him. He's better than Falcao and better than Cavani.

Thank fuck Tevez isn't still there! Can almost guarantee Yaya will score against us in the form he's been in this season. Aguero has been great too. City are the one side that actually make me uneasy. The one side that I'm never confident about going against.

You're right. Either way I'd still love to see 4-3-3.I actually wouldn't mind starting KdB regardless of how we lineup. What a huge boost to his confidence it would be to get the nod in a big game like this. It could be just like Mata where if he does well here he'd start against City too.

Please no Lampard tonight. Can't afford to shackle Ramires tonight by making him cover so much for Lamps. I know there's no way we will, but I wish we'd play a 4-3-3 here with Hazard/Torres/Mata up top and Shürrle/Oscar/Ramires in midfield. Think we could win pretty handily lining up like that.

Oh, it's okay FOX. I'm sure there are millions of Americans just DYING to watch Celtic v Ajax tomorrow. Seriously, Chelsea is hugely popular and rapidly growing here in the States and I haven't been able to watch a single bloody one of our CL matches so far and tomorrow's isn't televised either. So fucking annoying that I just want to strangle whoever decides which games are on.

This past game was how I expected him to be EVERY game coming into the season. Hopefully he keeps it up. We see how he's nearly unstoppable when he's running at and attacking defenders and moving with pace. When he has urgency and intent in his play we see performances like that rather than when he gets the ball at walking pace and just passes it away immediately. I know Eden doesn't quite have the pace of Ronaldo/Bale/Walcott, but I wish Jose would just tell him to dribble with ball as fast as he can at the fullback as often as possible and put constant pressure on the opponent. Just look at how effective that kid at Spuds Townsend has been over the past few weeks. He looks almost untouchable because he uses his pace and dribbling to just run right at players. Exactly what Hazard needs to do.

Not a chance. Every time we have a match like this against a side we should be thrashing we end up looking flat and uninterested.I wouldn't at all be surprised if we do what we've done several times already this season and look poor in the first half and it ends 0-0 at halftime. Then we'll be better in the 2nd half and win 1-0 or 2-1. I don't see us destroying them. Think there'll be some rust.

So after hearing Mourinho speak at today's presser I have to say that it doesn't sound like Cech is going anywhere anytime soon. Which means Courtois likely will be. Can't see any way we'll just extend his contract and keep him at Athletico for another 5 years. Can't see him wanting that either. Even yesterday I said in here that there was no way we'd sell him, but after hearing Jose gush about Cech and call him the best in the world I think that if Barca offered something insane like 30m we'd sell him there.
