Azpi is an absolute colossus defensively. Incredible player he's turning into. If we can move him back to the right next season and get someone who offers a bit more in attack than we'll be even better defensively than we are this year.

Yeah, but for a side like Arsenal whose supporters pride themselves on playing pretty, one-touch football to berate our club who has won 10+ trophies since they last won one is laughable. Liverpool are having their best season in years and are still behind us yet call us a negative, boring side.I can deal with it if a Barca or Bayern fan says it because they're perennial winners, but for supporters of losers to say it is just hilarious.

I'd feel better about us if Matic weren't cup tied. The thought of seeing a Lampard/Ramires midfield against a Bayern or Madrid doesn't exactly inspire a lot of confidence in me.I really feel that next season we'll be one of those sides that everyone will be scared to play. Also look forward to shutting up these idiotic Arse/Liverpool supporters who claim our football is so "boring and dire." Which is always funny to me because we're looking down on those sides in the table with our "boring" football. When we finally have a striker of world class, big club standard, Matic is available, and we hopefully have a creative partner next to him we'll be a force to be reckoned with. Just think it's a season too early for us to win the CL again.

Yeah, I wasn't blown away by Bayern either. You could tell that they had another gear or two to go up through, though. They'd be more up for a tie against us with the whole Pep/Mourinho rivalry and the recent history between our clubs.Real Madrid would spank us I think.

True, but it's not the supporters' job to worry about how much money the club is making. I'd rather us lose a bit of money by going out if it means we have a better shot at the most important trophy. It's not like we're a club in dire need of cash.If we advance, with our luck we'll draw one of the Madrid sides or Bayern and get thrashed without Matic in there and with our terrible strike force.

If it's not us then I hope City win it. They already have a great squad and can't really get much better. Both Liverpool and Arse can use winning the league as a huge platform to attract world class players and improve massively. Like us, Arse are only 2-3 signings away from being a truly elite side. Liverpool can use Suarez, Sturridge, and their style of football to attract top class players now that they'll have CL football. They need quite a few signings as their squad depth is pretty poor. We'd never hear the end of it if those two won the league. Rodgers would be seen as the new Messiah. I can see them pulling a United next season, though, where they go from a great season to finishing outside of the top 4 the following one. If United wise up and get a worthy manager and reinforce their squad I think they force Liverpool back out of the top 4.

I kind of hope we go out of the CL this week. We ain't winning it so no use piling on more matches. If we can lose to Villa then we can lose to any of the other shit sides we have left. We need 100% of our focus on the league like City and Liverpool.

I'd be so much more confident if we had a top goal scorer or two. We've struggle against bad sides all season. It's sort of embarrassing, really. Lost to West Brom and were lucky to win the first meeting, lost to Villa and were lucky to win the first meeting with them, struggled against West Ham, lost to Newcastle. It's borderline depressing watching sides like Liverpool with multiple players who can score for fun when we have fucking Torres and we can't seem to beat sides who we should be spanking. We need some serious firepower in the summer and hopefully Roman and José are just as desperate to bring them in as we are.

Liverpool have to now be favorites for the title. They'll likely thrash all of the smaller sides they have left (which we can't do) and have their toughest matches at home where they've been unbeatable.

And I was seeing Liverpool fans saying WE got all these lucky breaks after the Spuds game last week. They've taken the crown from Arsenal as the luckiest side in the league.

In the span of a few days we may have gone from title favorites to 3rd favorites behind City and Liverpool due to them being out of Europe with only the league to focus on and them having games in hand.

Arse will likely thrash Spuds too. Worst possible weekend of results for us.But my god, United are even more shit than I expected them to be. They have absolutely no ideas at whatsoever and all of their best players bar Rooney have been terrible. RvP looks like a completely different player than he has the past two seasons and Januzaj looks to have fallen off the same cliff as Oscar has for us. He hasn't done shit lately. Can a manager be suspended for speaking about the ref or just fined? If just fined I wish José would speak his mind and tell the truth about how fucking disgraceful Foy was/is. He's paid so well that a fine would be a drop in the ocean. At least then the FA would hopefully not allow him to ref our matches in the future. There seriously needs to be a review of his performances. I've seen MANY clubs' supporters complaining about how shit he is yet he still gets out in charge of important matches and fucks the result.

How does Foy continue to steal a living? Countless times he's made fucking terrible decisions. He's totally incompetent and let's player and crowd reactions influence the calls. Totally fucks our title chance. Ramires will probably get 10 games knowing how the FA loves to stick it to us. As for the match itself, once more an opponent doesn't trouble Cech AT ALL and we control the game but we fail to score. I can't wait until next season when we rectify this issue. It's ridiculous to have so much talent in a side and we can't fucking score against bottom half sides over and over again. We now have to hope we can cope well enough with Lamps or Mikel and that Luiz is back ASAP. Also that Liverpool and City fuck up like we have. Arsenal will certainly drop points a couple of times.
