As nice as Mata is and as well as he speaks about doing what is necessary for the team, I just don't think he'll put up with this much longer. He'll be sold I feel. He knows he can be nailed on, first choice just about anywhere else, but unfortunately for him we have a prototypical Jose player in his position. If we can swap or sell him in exchange for a world class CM like Gündogan it would be best for everyone. BVB wanted Kagawa back, so why not give the a better player in exchange for a player we need? Just a thought.

Pretty sure I can make the same prediction for just about every one of our games so I may as well do it again. We'll start off slowly with the majority of possession and not really do much in the first half. We'll have 1 or 2 shots on goal, neither of which will cause too much trouble. 0-0 at the half. We'll then kick on at around the 75th minute and end up scoring 2. Part of me has a bad feeling about this game though. Like WBA scoring a stoppage time winner or something. Hopefully Jose has our boys playing angry.

I hate when we play early on Saturday. Like last week, if we lose I'm depressed for the rest of the weekend and don't want to watch any other football. I'm gonna go ballistic if we lose. May put a hole through my tv.

It wasn't just the Newcastle match I'm basing my opinion on. Hell, to be honest some of our other players were so poor that I didn't really pay Lamps too much attention. He hasn't been up to the standard necessary for a team trying to win a title. He looks way off the pace these days. He gets blown by easily and kills breaks fairly often with loose passes. You could excuse this stuff the past couple seasons because he'd still knock in double-digit goals, but he hasn't been scoring and is a liability defending. It's just my opinion that he should only be used as a late game sub if we need a late goal. No way he should be first choice out there like he has been. Hasn't been detrimental to us thus far, but we'd be shredded and destroyed by better sides with him in there.

I may honestly hang myself of Lampard starts again. Mikel/Ramires is our best pivot. Would love to see the same back 4 as yesterday.

He isn't scoring goals anymore. If we're okay with that, why not play Mikel or Essien who are natural DM's? Both Ramires and Lamps love to get forward and in turn can leave our defense exposed. It hasn't happened recently, but I'd feel safer with Mikel in there holding back.
