I look forward to next season and beyond when we no longer dread matches like this but rather can't wait for them. That's what a world class, in form striker will do for us. Teams like United, City, and Liverpool go in to big games like this knowing ahead of time that they have a striker that can score at any time and from any place. None of ours can do that and we currently rely on a winger to be our match winner. That winger will be man marked by 2 or 3 players in most games. If we had an Agüero or a Suarez leading our line for a game like this I'd be chomping at the bit for it to start. As it is, I can't say I'm excited for this one. I think we'll play a very good match but in the end just won't have the teeth to edge it. I think it'll be a 1-1 draw.

Exact same feeling here. I honestly think we'd smash Arsenal. Think we'll rope them in fairly easily. They're the weakest side in the top 4 in my opinion.I don't see them beating any of us, City, Liverpool, or even United whom they all have left.

It really is annoying seeing Sturridge score week after week. We wouldn't even need to buy a super expensive striker had we kept him. He seems to be scoring every game he plays.

Don't see how people are putting Lamps in their first XI's. We'd get shredded in midfield if he starts. Wouldn't surprise me if he does, though since José loves him so much. I'd start Luiz and Matić in there. Wouldn't mind seeing a 4-3-3 with Luiz/Matić/Ramires or Luiz/Matić/Lamps. I just think that Luiz really raises his game against the bigger sides and concentrates more. He'll add steel and grit to the midfield and he and Matić can deal with City's midfield physically.

As hilarious as I'm finding this United situation, there actually is one player on that team I feel bad and sorry for and that's Kagawa. At Dortmund he looked as though he'd go on to become a world class AM and was a crucial cog in a great side. Arguably their best player at times. He moves to United and probably thinks he's gonna take off and prosper. He was fully fit today and didn't even make the bench when they have the likes of Ashley Young and Cleverly starting. Hope someone rescues him or he goes back to BVB. United don't deserve him. If we didn't already have our #10 I think he'd be brilliant in our side.
