I'm sticking to my guns here and still believe Liverpool won't even make the top 4 next season. I think they'll find it much more difficult next season when teams know what to expect and how to play against them.That and they'll actually be forced to rotate their squad and they don't have nearly the strength in depth that the rest of the top 4 or even United will have. I think they're in a direct fight for that 4th spot with United. Think 3rd will be their ceiling.

I would certainly hope that even if we don't announce the signing before the World Cup that we'd at least have everything signed and sealed behind the scenes. To be fair, Torres was at his world class best when Stevie G was feeding him from deeper in midfield. Cesc is just as good, if not better at that so maybe if Torres stays he can be an effective player again.
