  1. Trying to keep my excitement in check as much as possible. All I know is that the first thing I'll be doing if we sign him is following Piers Morgan and paying a visit to Arsenal Mania. The meltdowns will be historic.
  2. Right there with City or maybe even better as far as first XI.And we'd still have Lukaku, Ramires, Schürrle etc on the bench!
  3. This could potentially be the best, most exciting transfer window we've ever had. Top class striker, top class midfielder, top class LB, and one of the worlds best keepers all in one summer.
  4. About twice as much as he's actually worth.Imagine if Fabregas really does go for 30m and Lallana does too. Ridiculous.
  5. Thanks for the memories, Frank. Buying our new away shirt with Lampard 8 in his honor.
  6. Would be a massive signing to make before the World Cup and a huge statement of intent.
  7. Mirror "ECLUSIVE!" claiming United are the favorites. As usual, no one likely has the slightest clue.
  8. Yeah, my bad. I'm on an iPad so everything like linking, posting images and stuff takes a bit longer than it does on a PC. I'm lazy as hell.
  9. James Ducker of The Times: #MCFC adamant they're not after Fabregas. With #MUFC not in for him either, he won't be pitching up in Mcr bar a dramatic turn of eventsMatt Law of The Telegraph: Cesc Fabregas will not return to Arsenal as Arsene Wenger rules out move. @Matt_Law_DT reports Ian Ladyman of the Daily Mail: #mcfc aren't in the bidding for fabregas
  10. Some pretty reliable and well informed journalists are saying that City, United, and even Arse aren't after him. Hmmm.... Still think Arsenal are the favorites but it seems like we may have a genuine shot at him if we're interested.
  11. Touchline ban for José as well for improper conduct.
  12. Imagine the dual meltdown if we signed Fabregas and then steal Shaw from under United's noses.Oh god. I'd pay to to that.
  13. I think he said just after he left for Barca that he still had a home in London or at least regularly visited. If he's in London for any other reason than he's definitely going back to Arse.
  14. Arsenal have the ability to buy him back at a certain price but he himself has to agree to go there. If another club (us? United?) offer him more and he agrees to go there then I don think there's anything Arsenal can do other than match or exceed the other offers. I think that's how it works anyways. Would love the signing. I'd rather have Pogba but Cesc is a world class player when utilized correctly.
  15. HOLY SHIT! Thanks for everything, SUPER FRANK! New midfielder!
  16. Replacing mediocre players with very good ones will usually see an improvement. Completely different to Real Madrid who just bought the biggest superstar names regardless of necessity. These players would be direct upgrades in positions of need.
  17. *sigh*If only our manager and board saw it like we do. We have the opportunity with the Luiz sale and massive wages going off of our books, PLUS the new TV money, PLUS the record profits that the club will earn this past season to build an incredible side that can dominate Europe. Just hope we seize that opportunity and don't settle for players like Tiago or do what we've done the past few seasons where we always look towards the next window saying "all we need is this." Let's just buy all that we need and win the title next season.
  18. ----------Costa----------- Hazard--Oscar--Willian ----Fabregas--Matic---- Luis--Terry--Cahill--Azpi ----------Courtois---------- That's one hell of a side with some ridiculous balance. No idiots can call us boring and negative with that team. Would also see some "flowing, attacking" football that the media claims Roman is desperate to see.
  19. So would Arse just drop their golden boy Wilshere like that? Can't see where else he'd play there other than CM next to Ramsey. Honestly, if it's CM he wants to play then we make the most sense if United indeed don't want him.
  20. Think it's gotta be United. De Gea has publicly admitted to tapping him up over the past few days and I'm sure he'd love to go there with Mata and De Gea. Annoying, really. This is the third time in the last year or so that someone at that club has said to the media that they were tapping up players and nothing is said or done about it. They will have one amazing side attacking wise if they can pull off Cesc and a ball winning DM as well. Should be right in the title race.
  21. Wasn't he mainly a CM at Arsenal? Wasn't he at his best there as essentially a #8? I'd have him in heartbeat if we played him there. Never been impressed with him when he's stupidly used as a false 9. Unfortunately I can only see him going back to Arse or making a big money move to United.
  22. The exact same thing can be said about Costa too.
  23. Hope he has a great World Cup for two reasons. 1- Another club will see that he's still got plenty to offer and want to buy him. 2- If he does have to stay here then maybe having a good tournament will give him renewed confidence and he can be our 3rd striker.
