We'd be champions with him as our #10 right now. The tracking back and pressing wouldn't be a concern with Matic behind him. We'll regret selling him as early as next season with all of the additions United will make and since they aren't in Europe.
-
Wish we never sold him.
-
Howard Nurse (a Manc mouthpiece) says on twitter that Sir Alex is sitting next to Reus & Kroos' agent at the game right now.
-
Daniel Taylor of the Guardian says that United are "definitely" in for Cavani and have already met in Paris. FFS. We've been trying to get him for years now with no luck. Watch a side that doesn't need him AT ALL swoop in and sign him. I'd be livid.
-
Hazard #10 next season, Costa can take Torres' #9, and #17 can go to Reus/Lavezzi/whichever other random winger we're currently being linked with.
-
If on the very slim chance he plays on Sunday and has a poor game, how much do you wanna bet the "Sterling > Hazard" talk starts. I've already seen idiots like Neil Ashton and a couple others have Sterling in his Team of the Year over him.
-
Ramires + £25m for Vidal or Pogba.
-
Fully deserved. Now let's get Ricardo Rodriguez and move Cesar back to the right.
-
Daily Mail saying his agent/brother are trying to push through a move to United. RvP, Rooney, Welbeck, and Hernandez. Yep, just the place a striker who's fed up with playing second fiddle to another striker would want to go. Even if one or two of them were sold they just gave Rooney 300k a week. If RvP leaves Rooney is their main striker.
-
Only been a couple of weeks but feels like I haven't seen him in forever.
-
Would have been so unbelievably satisfying to go to Anfield and steal the title from this scummy club. Getting sick and fucking tired of seeing the pictures of Brendan Rodgers and the Liverpool players laughing and joking in training like they haven't a care in the world because they know the title is theirs. Fucking Sunderland. Still really want to win this one just to prove that they aren't some invincible side. Flukey champions is what they'll be. One season wonder.
-
Imagine if we managed to land Modric. Fantastic player and would've been a perfect fit next to Matic.
-
José speaks constantly of his love for English football and how he wants to help them in any way he can. They respond by constantly shitting on him at any opportunity and fucking our club time and time again. I hope he doesn't do another press conference this season before our PL matches.
-
Doubt we'll be seeing José at a press conference for the rest of the season...

Don't understand why we'd be constrained by FFP at all, really. United and City both have higher wage bills than us but aren't showing any concerns about FFP at all. Both will easily spend £100m and likely much more in United's case. We don't need to completely revamp the side like United need to do so we aren't gonna spend £150m or anything like that, but I see no reason why we should spend £100m.
-
You can probably buy world class, ready made players in certain positions for that amount.Absurd money. How terrible would it make them look if they bought Shaw for £30m and we opted for Rodriguez for significantly less and they ended up being equally good or Rodriguez was even better? We just bought Azpi for £7m and he's now the best fullback in the league. He's young and a Spanish international. Luke Shaw may sell for more than £20m more.
-
Looked like an animal died on top of his head last night. What a weird hairstyle.
-
Ridiculous numbers there. As much as I like the kid and would love to have him here, that's silly money. There are a couple of highly rated young LB's out there that probably wouldn't cost half of that. Come on, £30m for a teenage LB!? That's nearly as much as Hazard who was already a proven player and had superstar potential. I'm still of the belief that if we really want him and offer a nice wage packet he'll come. The rumored fee that United are offering is the only way I can see him choosing them over us. If the money is too silly to turn down. Paying striker or top midfielder money for a LB would be bad business for us.
-
He's one mean, hard looking motherfucker isn't he? Yet another Chelsea striker to scare the piss out of Arsenal if he comes here. Then we throw on Big Rom and they run for the hills! Also, after watching the replay I saw that JT appeared to land on Luiz' foot and twist his left ankle. Nothing to do with Costa.
-
I'd say we are, yes. I actually love when people get angry at us and hate us when we're winning. It's times like this after the Atleti match and the recent slump we've been in where it gets really annoying and infuriating. Every pundit, every analyst, every journalist, and every supporter talking only about Chelsea and how boring we are or how defensive we play or how we play like a "small" club. Hopefully with the additions we make in the summer we can start to play some more aesthetically pleasing football to compliment our defense.
-
This exactly. Just what I came in here to post.He wouldn't be playing against the best CB pairing in Europe every night when he's our player.
-
Because we still have a strong enough side to win even with these injuries. You never know what'll happen in this league. We beat Liverpool and win our last two and maybe Liverpool choke it away against Palace and whoever else. I'd rather us not just roll over and give up a game.
-
*sigh*Hopefully this is just annoyed José talking and he won't really do that. At least make Liverpool sweat a little by beating them.
-
Ashley Cole. Fucking beast without even having a run of games to get ready. Ash should retain his place against Liverpool with Ivanovic at CB and Luiz in midfield.
-
Not too concerned about Liverpool.I'm concerned about the return leg and the last two PL matches. I don't want to lose and allow Arse to pass us and have us finish 4th and have to play that annoying playoff.
