Oh yeah. Well, he'd certainly score more that Torres up front.
-
Either José still thinks Drogba is WAY better than he currently is or another forward will surely be brought in. I can't imagine what a blow it would be if Costa got injured very early on and we're back to having the worst strike force of any top European team again. Maybe another combo forward like Schürrle who can fill in at multiple positions? Griezmann? I'm in agreement with many here that starting the season with Costa, Drogba, and Torres is potentially suicidal. Costa, Lukaku, Drogba I'd be delighted with but not the former three.

"Footballistic" José taking a page out of the AVB book there?
-
Let's offer £30m + Ramires.
-
Like MrBlueGuy said above, it sounds to me like he's saying he won't force his way out because he loves Juventus too much for that, but if an offer comes in that he and the club feel is appropriate he'll go.It's kind of weird that we haven't even been linked to him during this entire summer. The kind of player José loves.

No matter what is said, denials included, I'm still going to be nervous about him going to United until the window shuts. He's so obviously the exact midfielder they need that it would be stupid for them not to go for him. Still fishy to me that they so easily allowed Evra to go to Juve after he just signed an extension and they'd lost all of their veteran leadership at the back. Sounds like a deal sweetener to land Vidal. The inner muppet in me is dreaming that we're reserving the legendary #8 shirt for a world class midfielder like Vidal or Pogba. It's hard to even imagine how unbelievably ridiculous a midfield 3 of Vidal/Matic/Fabregas would be.
-
If you were Courtois and were told that Cech is going to be the #1 keeper this season and that you're going to be sat on the bench after being the best keeper in La Liga for the title winning, CL finalists would you sign a new contract? I probably wouldn't.

Confirmed by José that Cesc and Costa will play 45 mins in this one. Can't wait.
-
Salah looks awesome at times when he's running at ridiculous pace but when he has to make that final decision he crumbles. You can tell that he's a total confidence player and he doesn't appear to have much currently.
-
Wow, the free HD stream on the official site is great! And damn, I was skeptical about our new home kit but it's BEAUTIFUL in-game.
-
Wish we wouldn't risk Matic (possibly our most important player) against these nothing teams.
-
I'd be surprised to see Cesc or Costa. Luis maybe.
-
Take away those atrocious vertical stripes and it's a decent kit. Luckily we won't be seeing this one much. Hope we do see the away kit a bunch, though.
-
He looks and speaks like a total idiot. If you have a shit load of money, why the hell would you basically wave it around so the clubs you're trying to buy players from jack the prices up? Idiot. My hope is that they have an end to the summer like last year where they're after all of these superstars and end up settling for average. Unfortunately, I think they'll make at least 2 more signings of real quality. Most likely 3 or 4.

So it appears that all of the reliable English media are being told by United that there has been no contact from them at all in regards to Arturo Vidal, yet all of the Chilean media who are apparently close to the player himself as well as Juventus sources are claiming a deal is very much going to happen. I think it's pretty fucking obvious that United are putting out a smoke screen here by denying it repeatedly so that they look like heroes when the deal comes off. That clown of a director they have keeps yapping about how much money they have and the ridiculous amounts they'd be able to spend. It's so obvious that they're going to get him in my opinion.
-
I think he'll get around 25 league goals. If Sturridge can manage around that amount when not even being the focal point of his side, then Costa should be able to as the main man up top with the likes of Hazard and Fabregas supplying him and Filipe Luis crossing it in to him.
-
No fucking about with this lad, is there? Very serious, very clear that he still has that fire and desire to win. He's going to rip this league apart once more. Just thinking about him playing against the likes of Barnley, Villa, West Ham, and all those other shit, small time teams makes me giddy. As long as he tears those sides apart then anything he does in the big games is a bonus.
-
Sort of feel a bit sorry for him seeing him in all of these pics. Sitting with Costa, his replacement, and knowing all summer that he's going to be in the bench. It's like seeing your ex with her new boyfriend.
-
Someone post up the interview.

Every time I see this clubs name on the forums I immediately think:
-
Personally think we'd be a better side if we added those two.We saw how they got murdered by Madrid's counter attack last season. I'd fancy us against Pep's style.
-
José has said numerous times that he's still close with Florentino Perez, right? Imagine him personally calling him up and inquiring about the possibility of buying Di Maria & Khedira. They'll probably be desperate to get their wages off their books and prevent them from being unhappy and kicking up a fuss about riding the bench next season. We can then permanently play 4-3-3 and have unbelievable quality in the starting XI and plenty of quality in depth to compete in every competition. Pipe dream, obviously, but we'd walk the league and probably have a squad second only to Real Madrid themselves.
-
Really hope José is giving some consideration to Khedira and Di Maria. Also really hope that none of the players they sell wind up at any of our rivals. Could you imagine a front four of RvP, Mata, Di Maria, and Rooney? Yikes.
-
Looks so weird seeing Diego Costa smiling. Always figured he had an angry face permanently fused on his head.
-
José checking out Cesc's ass there!
