Schürrle is still infinitely more of a scoring threat than Willian. I'd rather we test the keeper as often as possible than just see our attacks fizzle out every time Willian shoots.

We need to be able to unleash Hazard against sides like Villa who should have no answer for a player as good as Eden is. Instead we sort of hinder his effectiveness straight away by having Azpi on his side who Villa doesn't even need to worry about going forward. I expect them to simply load up on Hazard and mark him out of the game. Luis needs to play in these games against smaller sides. You have to make them respect the fullback.

I must say that I do agree with people about Drogba. He's spent. Past it. Sooner José realizes it the better. Only, ONLY use him when we're ahead by multiple goals and against poor opposition. Also, I hope this marks the start of us putting Luis in the team. Azpi and Iva were solid defensively, but Hazard was once more almost invisible for much of the game becasue the City defense weren't concerned with Azpi getting forward. They could mark Hazard out of the game with reletive ease. We need a fullback out there who forces the opponent to respect the overlap.

Haven't been this nervous prior to a game for a while. We can set a serious tone for the rest of the season and make it extremely difficult for our rivals. They'd be under huge pressure this early in the season. If we win this we may see City dial it back a bit in the league and go all out in prioritizing the Champions League.
