I mean, those are the kind of numbers the other top #10's are probably gonna get. Mata, Özil, Silva, and even Eriksen will likely put up 10 & 10 seasons so why not Oscar? Sure he's not a great creative passer like those guys but with players like Hazard, Schürrle, Costa, and Cesc around him it shouldn't be THAT difficult.

I don't think 12-15 league goals from Oscar is unreasonable to expect this season. If he can add double digit assists too it would be a very nice season. If he has another season like last then I think we should be looking for a new #10 next summer.

I see he's already changed his twitter to "Oscar8" I really, really hope Oscar takes that huge step up we all want to see. We need him to be in top form and has the potential to be our most important player.

I think Khedira is a clear improvement on Ramires. Big game against a great opponent I'd trust Khedira in there over. Ramires who struggles most of the time with schoolboy concepts like passing, shooting, and tackling. To be honest, I'd love to have both and ship Mikel out.

Vidal to United rumors heating up again. Seems like one week it's imminent, the next it's silent. Pretty incredible that they're waiting this long if they indeed want him so badly. I guess since they have such a piss easy start that whatever new signings they bring in won't really need to hit the ground running. If they manage to sign Vidal, Di Maria, and a new defender... Yeah, was always a long shot. José fibs a lot regarding transfers but I think he's telling the truth here. He keeps saying "I have the squad I want" and stuff like that as well as the club "this is our squad for 14/15." Makes me think that we're completely finished in the transfer market.

Good price for Moreno and he's a nice little player but I don't think he suits the PL very well and I'm glad we didn't sign him when we were linked. I'd have all of Luis, Shaw, and Ricardo Rodriguez over Moreno.

I'm so anxious about this.I'd be really sad for Cech if it's not him and I'll be extremely excited for Courtois if it's him in net. Can't really imagine Courtois being brought back to ride the bench.

Wow. What a fantastically promising match. Quick, incisive, free-flowing football that we've been asking for in the opponents half for years now. No standing around like statues. Players pinging balls off of each other and some nice pass and move situations between Hazard, Cesc, and Luis. Our back five players all looked great. Azpi looks much more comfortable and has a bit more courage on the right side and Luis looks great with the ball and made another great play on that recovery tackle. Costa is going to light this league up. Always seems to know exactly where to be. As good as we know we're going to be in the big games against top opponents, if we can manage to replicate this sort of performance against the sides we should be dominating we'll win the league. I can't actually say that anyone had a bad match there. Oscar and Willian looked much better and sharper.

Man, reading around twitter and all over the internet about how good this guy is kind of making me hope there is something to this. Price is certainly steep for a defender but this isn't Luke Shaw we're talking about here who's unproven, he's a mature and fully developed beast by all accounts.
