This is what we'll see but I'd be a bit upset if Azpi starts again instead of Luis.Drogba will hopefully batter that soft Spud defense for 60-70 minutes and then Remy will come on and attack their tired players with his pace.
-
He wasn't at all. I think he was just as puzzled by the lack of intelligence in the questions as I was. Usually when there's a big London derby involving the top team in the league there would be a load of questions about it, but the journalists didn't feel like doing their jobs this morning.Instead they ask stupid questions like "what do you think of the girl who got nominated for the FIFA goal of the year?" Or "did you know Gary Lineker was the last Spurs player to score against Chelsea and lead them to a win?"
-
I honestly think that some of them are scared to ask José certain things because they know he'll embarrass them if it's a stupid question. Like you never hear journalists ask him things like why he went with a particular player or what would he have done differently if something goes wrong. You never really hear the English media ask many, if any confrontational questions like they often do with the likes of Wenger or Rodgers becasue José will tell them straight to their faces that they're an idiot or don't know what they're talking about. That's one reason I think they often ask these moronic questions.
-
My goodness, that may have been the worst press conference I've seen. These blockheaded journalists asked the dumbest, most irrelevant questions. This is a huge game against a rival and they ask no pertinent questions? Fucking hell!

Feel sorry for him, honestly. He was so excited when he signed for us and it seemed like a dream come true. Obviously he's going to be getting more games as the season goes on (right? RIGHT!?) but for the best all around fullback last season to be sitting on the bench when he could be starting and playing at a world class level for just about any club in the world is hard to watch. Surely he wouldn't have joined if he knew it would be like this? As good as Iva has been I'd still rather see Azpi on the right where he'd not only be more comfortable defensively, but he'd also be much more useful going forward where he's actually underrated. Luis should be nailed on first choice LB like I and most here assumed he'd be when we signed him. The few times he has played we've seen what he's capable of. Just can't see ANY of the sides outside of the big boys being able to handle both he and Hazard down that left side. That and he can beat a marker with his dribble and accurately cross unlike either of Azpi and Iva.
-
If he were playing on his correct side.I'd absolutely love to see how we'd look at least once or twice this season with Filipe and Azpi as our two fullbacks.
-
Both of these sides are pretty average. Spuds defense is porous but they can be dangerous in attack if given space. Not worried about them too much. More worried about our players' energy levels.
-
Should be starting EVERY match against smaller sides. He and Schürrle. Azpi and Willian are totally pointless against them.
-
How is that even legal? Why don't NYCFC just buy Messi and loan him to City?Skirting FFP.
-
They did play at a level far higher than what they have or will again this season. They conceded 8 against this average Southampton side, ffs!We didn't play at our best, sure, but those are still terrible points to drop against a gang of game raising cunts. Just like Villa last season.
-
1000% guarantee that after Sunderland played out of their skin against us that they'll now roll over and concede 5 against City. A 6 point gap is nothing. Spuds is now a must win game. Dropping more points after that yesterday and City cutting the gap to 3 points can really effect us mentally. Can't have that with so many games coming.
-
Leave the greatest goal scoring midfielder in league history wide open with no one withing 15 yards of him at the edge of your box. With a man advantage. We better beat Spuds.
-
That's probably game over.
-
I think they're legitimately at that Everton/Spuds level. Top 4 is still too much of an ask for them I believe.
-
Pelle's hair looks like it's plastic. You could probably shatter it if you smacked his head.
-
May be the first time I've ever seen a decision go against Aguero.
-
Think City will be buoyed by our result yesterday and be up for it like mad here against the Saints. Can see a thrashing here. To be honest, I'm so disappointed by the result yesterday that I don't even feel like watching football today. A point probably wasn't a terrible result but it just left a bad taste in my mouth.
-
We all know Remy won't start. It'll be Drogba up top.
-
Very, very close to throwing my remote through the tv screen. Absolutely infuriating match. Why did we just continue doing what obviously wasn't working? Get it to the edge of their box over and over again and just stalled to walking pace. They're camped in there box every time we attack. PLAY WITH WIDTH AND STRETCH THEM! Our entire front 4 were completely ineffective against the aircraft carrier they had in front of goal. Didn't help that we ran out of gas in the second half. Matić was the only player who was at his best today. He was totally dominant and a monster once again. Very concerning that we looked so lethargic when we play in just a few days.
-
Same shirt happens to us every season it seems like. Villa last season for example. They raise their game like mad, beat us, and then proceed to look dire and lose 5 in a row afterwards. Hopefully we sharpen up. Infuriating to play against these teams.
-
Fucking hate these game raising cunts. I HATE going against this team. Ref has been shit as usual as well. We have to speed up play. These bastards won't concede with 11 men behind the ball like they were there. We can't pass through them.
-
Getting nervous!
-
I'd like to see Filipe for this one. Need a more attacking threat against the bus that'll surely be parked. Need to get him involved more anyways since the fixtures are going to start piling up.

Hull are fucking terrible. They look like they don't even feel like playing here.
