The one thing I don't like about him is his demeanor. Like Hazard, he seems so timid and meek. It's like he doesn't understand the talent he has that everyone else can see.

If he's truly unsettled here like we keep hearing maybe after this latest incident the club won't stand in his way if a big bid comes in. The club will be desperate to rid ourselves of the image we have and Diego personifies it. I love his game but hate worrying about him each and every time he takes the pitch.

Cahill, Pedro, Ivanovic, Oscar, and Matic should not be anything more than squad players next season if not a couple of them sold. Give Conte total authority to sign who he likes.

Without Costa for a while I doubt we'd be able to score any goals even if we played a full strength team. May as well do as you say and play the likes of Traore, RLC, Kenedy IN HIS REAL POSITION, and Baba.

Indeed. They showed almost all of our FA Cup matches on FS1 last season so I was able to watch. This season they're all on FS2 with fucking redneck, hillbilly NASCAR on FS1 instead. Fuck off!

Not sure why all of these papers keep linking us with Cavani. Unless they're just assuming Costa leaving is 100% nailed on which is stupid. If they're thinking that Cavani would come here with Costa staying that's stupid as well since that's why he's unhappy in Paris playing second fiddle to Ibra. With Zlatan leaving surely Cavani would stay there.

The club seem to be doing their homework and are serious about setting up like a proper, long-term thinking team with a set style and identity. Let's just hope that this summer is fewer Miazga's, Papy's, Falcao's, and Pato's, and more Costa's, Fabregas's, and Hazard's. Otherwise we'll be looking for a new manager again a year from now.

That mentality is basically why we've regressed so much. Persisting with players who aren't up to scratch. Oscar has played under how many managers now and still hasn't really progressed? Of course we don't need a huge overhaul of 7-8 first XI players, but we certainly need 3-4. If Conte is told he must start next season with the same midfield and same defense as this season then he's doomed from the beggining. Same thing that happened to José. "These players won the league last season so we don't need any big signings." Let the manager decide whether the players are good enough, don't tell him.

If he stays he needs to go to some sort of summer boot camp after the Euro's and a short holiday. Whip his ass into shape so he's actually ready for a season.

Media seems to think it's almost a forgone conclusion that he's off as part of this "mass exodus." I'd be absolutely shocked if we sold him. Hazard is the only one of our big players who will be off. There's zero chance we'd sell Courtois, Willian genuinely seems to care for Chelsea, and Diego is our primary goal scorer. Where would he even go? Surely he's got to be valued at something like £50m or more seeing as to how important he is to the team and watching much lesser players go for obscene amounts. Atleti Coentrao afford him. Neither of the other two big clubs in Spain need him. I guess PSG wil be after another big name striker when Zlatan leaves and they love a Brazilian, but I can't see them wanting him after calling him a fraud. No, I think he'll remain here.

By turining their own seasons around and showing heart, passion, and will to make our season more respectable the likes of Costa, Cesc, and Willian are at least showing they care a bit. Just look at Costa after he scored today and how he's been since José left. It's like he's got a fire under his ass and is desperate to make things right. The attitude and lack of any kind of fight are what's frustrating me with Eden. Looks like he wants the season over more than the fans do.

They started poorly but have been our two best players for a couple of months now. Nearly all of the players that were shit (Costa, Cesc, Ivanovic, Cahill) have dragged themselves out of their rut and got us up the table. Hazard and Matić (arguably the two most important players to our success last season) have still not been able to muster any sort of form.

Mate, seeing as we'll only have that to worry about we should keep him.
