Costa and Willian will be back so at least we'll have some watchable quality in our attack unlike the Swansea game. Hazard was training in the last pics I saw from a Begovic tweet so maybe he'll be on the bench for this? KDB is nailed on to score and Aguero always shits on us. I think Guus will continue to experiment with the team and play some of the ynger players so I see no way we win this one against a City side with high morale after today's result and that are desperate to hold on to their 4th spot. They need this one whilst our players can't be bothered anymore.

Let's just pray they aren't so tight in Conte's first summer or we won't sniff the title or even CL football for years and years like Liverpool.
-
Don't know if I'm willing to go that far. Mourinho certainly had a lot of control in his first two seasons, clearly. This past year, though, the board and owner had become obsessed with FFP, balancing the books, and became content with the squad. We know as fact that Mou wanted a few top class players to improve the team and if things were totally up to him they'd have been signed. The board were either incompetent with some transfers (Stones) or straight up didn't try or left it too late for others. Still place most of the blame on the board myself.

Would also be easier to stomach if our own Belgian star didn't have an abysmal season... But I 100% guarantee all of you that Oscar will still be lining up next season as our "playmaker." A playmaker that rarely scores, contributes almost no assists, has no creative vision, and has one good game against a random, shit team for every 10 matches he plays.
-
I think Kevin put it perfectly himself a while ago when he said that because he wasn't a big name or an expensive signing Chelsea didn't give him a fair chance. He wasn't a big exotic, famous name like Oscar or even Schürrle at the time.
-
Same here. I distinctly remember posting my disappointment when we sold Kev. That we would regret it later on. With Lukaku I'll admit that I wasn't sad to see him go, but De Bruyne will be a constant, painful reminder for years to come of what a massive mistake we've made. Only thing that can let us get over it is if we sign someone near his level to replace Oscar.
-
Does he now have better stats in one season so far at City than Oscar does since he moved here? Pathetic. Everyone here knows I loved José, but this will go down as a legendary fuck up. Refused to play him even after he was our best player in that preseason because he was "poor in training." He's now one of the 3-5 best players in the Premier League and playing for a rival. Decided to build the team around Oscar who hasn't developed at all and may have regressed in his time at Chelsea. Imagine how good he's going to look next seaso under Pep...
-
They can have a few of his pubes for that amount...
-
Brilliant, Leicester! Now 5 injuries each for Spuds and United please.
-
Come on, Lesta! More Kanté scouting for me here...
-
Hopefully Willian & Costa go straight back in the team next week so we don't have to see Oscar again.
-
With our defense missing our 3 best CB's, Baba who looks bang average or maybe even poor defensively, and our tissue thin midfield I think they'll destroy us. Swansea just did in that first half, FFS. You know our players can't handle when sides press us. Spuds and Liverpool both do that extremely well so those can each be ugly matches.
-
Would be nice to at least go in to the summer with a positive feeling. We may seriously lose all of our remaining matches. All but one of the sides we have left will be playing for something and our boys will have their heads elsewhere.
-
Is there any purpose in watching us again this season? Players clearly don't look bothered. Not sure I want to even see us turn up and get battered by a City who need to win at all costs to secure a top 4 finish, get battered by Spuds who are chasing the title, and then lose against Leicester on the final day. Other than Ruben and Cesc I hope none of these players start a match for us next season unless there are injuries.
-
Commentator is also right. Swansea look like they're the only ones fighting like they actually want to win. We're out the going through the motions knowing our season is over. Honestly, I don't want to see some of these players in a Chelsea shirt again...
-
Hopeless from front to back. Nearly every player on the pitch from keeper to striker had a terrible half. I literally haven't heard this motherfucker Montero's name all season long and he's been benched more often than not apparently and yet he once again comes in a shits on our whole team and looks like a world class player. Fucking embarrassing. We really do need essentially an entirely new back line and midfield.
-
Last minute Arse winner nailed on here.
-
Did Willian pick up an injury I missed? Not even in the squad again.
-
Well this will certainly lend credence to the Courtois rumors. Begovic audition? Also, no Willian again? Damn.
-
The spirit of Drogba has entered Andy Carroll!
-
These two sides offer the perfect illustration as to why we can get straight back to challenging for the league next season if we back Conte sufficiently. The defending even amongst the "top" sides near the summit of the table is abysmal. We make the right signings and we'll be up there.
-
GET THE FUCK IN!!!
-
Why on earth would you play 3 at the back against Arsenal? Shocking, terrible management and tactics here.
-
Sign all those and we'll win the league, mate!
-
That's true as well. Though even the most desperate glory hunter would stop supporting us and go for Spuds.
