This is true and is the reason I would avoid players like Vardy at all costs because he'd join a new club with the expectation that he'll score 20+ goals. With Kanté it's different because he isn't a goal scorer and wouldn't be expected to be this world class force. Hed come here and essentially be a Ramires on steroids. Endless running and energy, and covers every blade of grass each match. Unlike Ramires, Kanté can actually pass a football too. Kanté & and another class CM and we go from a terrible midfield to one of the best in the league.

It's inevitable that he'll improve significantly for a new club in a new league. Any other league will be easier for him than the PL. Unlike Kevin De Bruyne, Oscar doesn't have near that ability. He can't singlehandedly run games and carry teams with magical skill like Kev. He's just not on that level. Just can't see him coming back to haunt us in a couple of years like Lukaku and Kev have. Well quickly move past Oscar if we get someone who actually puts up numbers and doesn't go missing for weeks at a time. We need production and consistency.

In a year when literally all of the big clubs are having terrible seasons and they still bottle it and can't win a title ahead of Leicester and Spuds. It's as if the football Gods set it all up for Wenger to finally get another trophy and he still couldn't do it.

That was awful from Vardy. Clearly threw his legs in front of the defender to instigate the contact. He didn't even need to go down either! He could easily have got his shot away and hit the target, too. Damnit! Now both this match and their next one are in jeopardy without him.

The moaning has a great chance of starting before the next season even begins if we see Mourinho signing players like Zlatan or Higuain or Stones or Pogba and our board stick to their penny pinching ways by just recalling some loanees or signing cheap, average players. I know I'd be moaning if that happens.

Unless something catastrophic happened in his personal life that no one knows about then surely he has to have been playing injured for most, if not all season. No way can a player of his ability just become abysmal that quickly. Like a switch on his back was flicked basically. It would be hugely beneficial if he didn't go to the Euro's and had an extended break. Too bad that won't happen. Forgot about Musonda. Both he and Cuadrado would be useful additions to the squad but both are desperate to play every game which I doubt they'd do at Chelsea. Musonda for sure wouldn't.

As one of his biggest supporters here I'm starting to come around to this line of thinking. Sadly, he's made to look like an old man when going against modern, athletic midfielders. Do think he can be effective if you put Kanté and Nainggolan in a midfield 3 with him. Just can't see how or where we'd sell him to. And I doubt he'd put up with being a sub mostly.

Goes into his shell far too often. Obviously he's still a very young player but if he wants to be a regular starter he's gotta make an impact over an entire match and not just bursts here and there. His stamina and energy levels also seem super low. Makes him look really lazy out there.

Getting 4th next season would be a huge achievement. I was thinking recently that with the right signings we could maybe even challenge (not win) for the title next season but no way. We're light years away from there.

We need 2 CB's, 2 CM's, maybe a creative midfielder, and possibly a LB. may need a new keeper as well. And that's just for the starting XI!

Blown away and humiliated at home by a City side missing two of their best players and deploying some of the most basic counterattacking tactics. Absolutely insane that we've allowed our club to disintegrate and waste away to this level. City didn't even need to expend much effort. They just bullied us and swatted us away like a newly promoted relegation candidate. Roman needs to be on the phone yesterday with Conte picking out his choices for signings. The likes of Cahill, Ivanovic, and Baba shouldn't play for Chelsea again. Mikel shouldn't be anywhere near the first XI. Squad player at best. Honestly, if we can recruit the keeper of Conte's choice I wouldn't be too sad to see Courtois go. He doesn't look bothered or happy to be here. Fuck him off for a huge fee if that's the case. We need a minimum of 5 new players. Also, I can't see us winning another game this season. That in itself doesn't matter I guess, but what a terrible mood there will be around the place if we just lose, lose, lose to close out a dreadful season.
