  1. Not sure of what to make of it but he comes across as a top person, great personality, sense of humour and on top of that top player
  2. The underestimation of QPR radiated from both the players/coach and some of the comments pre-match... (9-0, 5-0, playing 3 goalkeepers) We had it coming, and to be fair you get what you ask for. Marin should have been sent off and noone knows what could have happened then. QPR used their chance, well done to them. I thought Oscar was rather good today, nothing bad to say to him. Only one I'd bring up, don't get me started on Ivanovic, Bertrand(never thought much about him)...
  3. Don't get me wrong, in no way am I bashing Luiz. He has done fine but not brilliant in my eyes. Just because I don't share a view with you doesn't make me less of a fan. I'm pointing out that the second yellow card danger wasn't a dream, it was a real possibility and might aswell been given
  4. I remember those moments aswell and one in particular could have easily been a yellow card
  5. Perfect solution till we can have a look at our squad during the summer. 7m is an absolute steal for him - no pressure on him either, he is a hungry player, 27 years old, can say he hasn't even peaked yet. I hope this one goes through.
  6. Agree with you there, too raw and rash for me. I was quite suprised to read the reports of the games when he has been in the midfield that he has done brilliantly - I've failed to spot it thus far.
  7. Result was needless to say brilliant. Gameplay was shaky but that's what you've got to do sometimes - ride your luck and grind it out. Has been a long-long month and I'm sure this result will boost our confidence. Torres had 2-3 great chances that you'd expect a world class striker to put away but that's life - Jelavic was out of luck on the other side. Didn't like Azpilicueta nor Hazard today, were out of place and haven't seen "that brilliance" from him since we signed him, he has a lot to prove still, but let's keep in mind he is only 21. Oscar changed the attacking game for us, such a fighter he is. Well done to the squad, let's hope Cech is fine and to any Everton fan reading - tough luck, you were as good as always, hate our games against you.
  8. I don't think he'd suit here plus he has a massive ego, like any player of his calibre, but he is not the player we need, would suit Barcelona
  9. Moses was great I thought but Mata was the difference with his brilliant strike, perhaps could have done better and scored another one later on but important 3 points away to strong Norwich team

  11. Would love to have him here. Why does it always have to be the age that matters? When we discuss Falcao, people say "Get Lewandowski, 1 year younger" - like that matters! Villa is a quality striker and would suit our gameplay. I'd welcome him here with both hands... get a grip people... we can't have 11 teenagers playing for us and then moan for having no authority or leadership on the field. 1+1 really, Jesus
  12. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!! Damn shame Piazon didn't score but what an assist, he was very lively and excellent aswell, and only 18!
  13. I'm confident that we'll get a world class striker if we let Sturridge go as easily as this
  14. I think Falcao is better because he is more diverse and in my eyes although he is regarded as the best nr. 9 in the world, he keeps his head down, stays humble. I really value that. I'm not saying Lewandowski is bad, not at all, in fact he is brilliant but he has different attributes to those of Falcao. The age factor doesn't play any role in here, 26 is not even prime age for a footballer - so that won't be a problem when it comes to deciding who is better. I could go as far as say that Falcao has proven himself alot more on bigger stage than Lewandowski, who has only played a handful of games against foreign top clubs. Only team who can challange them in Bundesliga is Bayern Münich and perhaps some other clubs who are on form on that day, other than that it's not very hard for them in the league. Falcao played against top portuguese clubs, won Europa League twice, now plays against Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia and even Malaga, and has impressed at every level. Just look at the Super Cup defeat against Atletico in August - he dominated our defence single handedly. Big game player, who ever sings him will get a very good deal, no doubt. Falcao: Games/goals/ratio of his professional career Total 301 186 0.62 Europa League top scorer: 2010/2011; 2011/2012 Europa League final man of the match 2011 Europa League final man of the match 2012 UEFA super cup man of the match 2012 Lewandowski: 113 games, 53 goals - ratio of 0.46 Not too much to show for individual efforts, just Polish League merits, DFB Pokal top scorer (7goals) So it's easy to see who has proven himself, but regardless both can flop but on forums all you can do is debate and the facts are of Falcao's side. Lewandowski has a big potential, Falcao has potential and has also backed it up already on the pitch. If we could sign someone from Dortmund, I'd choose either one of Subotic/Hummels or Reus
  15. You can't compare Lewandowski and Falcao... To me, Lewandowski is a big hype, when i watch the games he scores ordinary goals, poacher's goals. Check Falcao's goals. So diverse, so unpredictable, fast as lightning... he is one or two steps up compared to Lewandowski. I'm glad some of you don't compare him to the likes of Cisse and Sturridge...
  16. Wow 1/1 odds on SkyBet, you can tell January is close, forums and media buzzing
  17. 1) UCL final 2012 2) The Double with 8-0 win against Wigan on last day 3) UCL 4-4 draw with Liverpool a couple of years back
  18. I see so many people splashing out numbers here but reality is NONE of you know if any of those numbers are anywhere correct or not. Let professionals do their job, we just have to wait and see. I believe for businessmen of Abramovic's calibre, FFP is only matter of formality and bookkeeping... chill, we're fine.
  19. Dream signing. His physique is very good, technical, fast, agile, acrobatic and seems very determined, emotional to what he does. Has great heading skills, great strike with both feet and is always unpredictable... Seems humble aswell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sC5Op-NuesY
