And you're deluded to think we'd get anyone close to Hulk for less money. You're too into statistics, if you look it like that Modric has no value at all. Do you even watch any of Hulk's or Chelsea's games for that matter? Modric had 40 appearances last season 5 goals 6 assists and yet the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United are interested in him. I know they're different positions. Hulk had 38 appearances and scored !21! goals, 15 assists. He's ambitious, publicly declared interest in joining us, can't ask for much more.

Times have changed, market has changed, 40m for Hulk's calibre isn't too bad if you think about it. I'd say Hulk and a RB and we're sorted for the long term.

Hulk - can play right wing, offer cover and also play as a CF Azpilicueta or Piszczek for RB Release/Loan some players like McEachran (would be positive to think he'd get games with this squad at the moment), Malouda (sell), Benayoun (sell), Lukaku (loan or keep as 2nd CF if we sign noone) and De Bruyne (loan) and Ferreira (release)

I'd prefer Hulk over all those names. Javi Martinez has lots of clubs interested in him aswell meaning the price will rocket up and we wouldn't get him much cheaper if any. Hulk seems to have the hunger for glory and success while creating chances and goals out of nothing. That's what we've been missing aswell, we don't have THAT factor in our team like Real has Ronaldo, Barca has Messi, City has Agüero - Hulk would be THAT guy for us I believe.

And it's their right to do so. If Chelsea was in Porto's position we'd be praising the club, right? Fair play to Porto.

Wouldn't like him in Chelsea. I'm sure he's a good player but seems fragile and there are other options out there. For example Willian from Donetsk and Hulk from Porto.
