Letting go the 30+ on over 100k a week will be a start, and i include Lamps in that. Agree about the performance related bonus's aswell, will be a fanastic incentive to win things, not that they should need it.
-
I thought Sturridge was on 60k? If so we should offer him a (relitevely low, term used loosely) deal of 70k a week, he will probally make a counter offer of 90-100k then we work it out somewhere inbetween.

No way should Cahill start this one. Ivanovic-Luiz-Terry-Cole back four is tried, tested and proven, only West Brom outside the top 6 have scored against us with that combination on the field.

Its quite incredible just what hidden power the media have!!! They could probally say Zola was the biggest flop in football history and were get comments like "why is Zola being called a Chelsea legend? he was a huge flop".

Am i the only one that finds the OTT Torres loving cringeworthy? Yes he is a Chelsea player and while he is i fully support him and hope he gets back to his best, but things like defending even his worst displays while slagging off other players who actually performed better. I was in the MH lower on saturday and we all thought it was Nando that scored with the overhead kick going in off the bar instead of hitting Frank and when Neil announced it was Frank there was groans like the goal was disallowed which was quite frankly embarrising. I hope we can see the best out of him but here there is not getting away from the fact he has got a long way to go and his "favrotism" treatment he gets while slagging off other players in the process is quite frankly annoying. PS how he has a banner at The Bridge yet Drogba doesn't beats me.

What is making Norwich so good this season is their team work. They don't have the Marquee egotistical players the likes of QPR seem to have, they have a group of lads who most are playing in the premierleague for the first time and are hungry to show the world what they can do. That's the type of players AVB need's to look at to get us winning things again, players who are not known as world class, dont have an ego and will produce for the team, like the side we had in 2004'/2005.

Would not suprise me if Mourinho's next job (before United) is at Bayern Munich. If he wins La Liga, Germany and France would be the only one's left out of the major countries, i reckon he would go Bayern then return to England then have a season in France before settling in the Portugal natinol team in the last few years. Its the kind of man Mourinho is, he would want to end his career conquering as many league's as humanly possible.

If Azpilacanta (whatever the spelling) and Hazard comes in. Josh disovers his full potential at Swansea and comes back a ready made starter we are just Malouda leaving away from it being the perfect January.
-
He got tried at full back for Benfica and DM for Victoria, both expierements failed. He not risky atall, the only reason he looks stretched at times is because Bosingwa's shite marking and tackling virtually leaves him up against 2 players. He got booked for fouling bendtner saturday because he was covering Bosingwa's lost ground. Whenever he has Ivanovic next to him, meaning he only has one player to take care off, he is virtually unbeatable. Alex and Ivanovic have made much more errors than Luiz this season.
-
Im glad your doing well in the top flight, i thought you would have a good season as Lambert seems to have installed a lot of confidence that most promoted teams dont have. Could easily see you establishing yourself's in the prem the same way Stoke have PS Thankyou for fucking over QPR twice, hopefully it will send the fuckers back down
-
But i was on twitter and other forum's and i could remember some of Bosingwa's performances (especialy in the big games) in 2008/2009 and wasn't convinced at-all. Not only did we look better at the back in 09/10 when he didnt play most of it we looked better going forward aswell (as the 103 goals show).

I think BL said about bringing it back every 3 season's or something like that. Our division's shaping up pretty well, i think its between me, you, clevemeer and blue bulls for promotion this season.

If they meet in the CL quarter of semi it could be 8 times they face eachother. Would that brake a record.I think the most times one team can face another in a season is 10 and that will be in England. Twice in CL Once in supercup, once in PL Twice in PL Twice in CC semi final Twice in FA Cup (including a replay). Thats could easily be possible for 2 English teams next season, it will probally require City to win the Prem and EL with us winning the FA Cup and CL. But so far i think 8 would be a record for teams facing eachother in the same season so if Real or Barca meet in the CL it will be getting ridicolous, not even us and Liverpool in the Jose days meet that much
-
This will either go 2 ways. Their's heads will be abroad already, we will drop points at Carrow Road as LDN said their will be issue's with late night partying when we are out there and we come back and get dumped out of the cup by QPR. or They will be boosted by the news they are having a break and it will come across in the display at Carrow Road we will win comfortably, go to Majorca the break will do the team the world off good and we will return rejuvinated and smash QPR with our season going from strength to strength. It really is that simple and im praying the latter happens.

I honestly think Madrid will win it. Yes i know Barca have won their last 3 games against them but if you see the matches outside El Classico, Real seem to have this real hunger this season to stop them, they want it so bad and Barca have been lacklusture in many other games, Espanyol away and for a long time in the Betis match the prime examples. In one off El Classico games Barca have the edge without question but i can honestly see Barca dropping more silly points before the end than Madrid will. A bit like Liverpool's recent record against us, they seem to have the edge in one off games but Liverpool will drop over 20 more silly points this season than we will.
-
Carvalho got booked then made a silly tackle that could have easily got him red carded. Time for him to play defensive midfield Jose.
-
good, bout time they got screwed over.
-
If Barca and Madrid draw each other in the CL they would have faced each other 8 times. Would that brake the record for facing a team in one season?
-
Am i the only one who doesnt rate Pique? He looks good because Barca are the best at defending from the front, when Barca are on the backfoot (IE 2009 at Stamford Bridge) and at Manchester United Pique didn't look that great atall.
-
I doubt confidence is an issue for Luiz. Who else could get scapegoated by the English media, "experts", every non Chelsea fan and even some Chelsea fans yet still (as we can visually see in videos) turn up to Cobham with a smile on his face and personality to match. His character cannot be in question.
-
I dont think Cole has been that bad, he just set his standards so high in the double season (where he was the best LB in the world by a country mile) which is why he looks bad in comparision if that makes sense. He has declined in the last couple of years but he is still one of the best lb's in the league, it's just in 09/10 he was so good, well you know where im coming from
-
Why oh why are we going on about Luiz changing position's? he is a fucking centre half. He played left back for Benfica twice and they lost 5-0 and 4-1, he nearly got released from Victoria in his younger years for poor performances in defensive midfield. If it was something to explore why the hell hasn't Carlo, AVB, Jorge Jesus, Dunga or Sanchez Flores tried it? It amazing how much the media can infulence even the opinion of Chelsea fans when it comes to David Luiz, remember his first 2 games against Liverpool and Fulham when we could forge our own opinion of him before the media's intervention? We were inpressed we saw the potential he had to be one of the best defenders around, yet now we are infulunced by the media? wtf. The only times we see Luiz be percieved to be a "liability" is when Bosingwa's playing right back, as Bosingwa's poor tacklking and marking virtually leaves Luiz against 2 players. The yellow he picked up for fouling Bendtner on Saturday came from Bosingwa (who was meant to be marking Bendtner) losing him completely which gave Luiz no choice but to make up his ground and foul him. Whenever ive seen Luiz play with Ivanovic aside him meaning he only has one player to worry about he is virtually unbeatable. Lets stop going on about the occasional mistakes he makes, Vidic made more in his first season at United and Ivanovic and especially Alex (expierenced PL defenders) has made more mistakes this season. As far as Luiz is concerned positives outweigh negatives, IE look at the Fulham match on his debut. The penalty he gave away was not even a pen (he never touched Dempsey) but lets just say for argument sakes it was we can hardly blame him because if it weren'tfor him that night Fulham would have won 3-0 and thats without adding the fact that he was single handedly trying to brake them down while the rest of our team could not be fucked aswell as single handedly keeping them at bay. Remember the City match when he won us the game at both ends of the pitch? If you want to know just how important David Luiz is to us as a CENTRE HALF look no further than the home match against Arsenal, has he even made half the amount of mistakes for Chelsea than our backline made in that one? If he played i would happily bet my life that Arsenal would have scored twice at best. Is any mistake Luiz might have made worse than the one Alex made against West Brom or Ivanovic a week later against the Canaries? The 3 big mistakes Luiz has made from what i can re-call (that has lead to a goal) is against Stoke at the Britt, United at Old Toilet and Villa a few weeks ago, two of those he was covering Bosingwa's ineptness and against United Essien and Terry were just as much at fault for the goal as him. I dont usually get this irate but i hate it when players get underserved slack and the play him in full back or defensive mid is starting to do my nut in aswell he has already been tried there and it wasnt very succesfull, he is a centre half end off. So lets ignore the media drunkards and bitter rival supporters, we have one hell off a player on our hands who is only going to get better. rant over!!!!!!
-
It will be confusing if they do all end up in the first team
-
There is a huge difference between Luiz and Bosingwa i can't believe there is a comparision. Luiz makes mistakes at time so what? i could probally name atleast 6 mistakes Ivanovic and Alex have made in the last year or so are they bad? Bosingwa is a different kettle of fish, i cba to go into detail but i will if i absolutely have too.

It stays open until about 2/3 weeks before the end of the season.
