  1. Villa, QPR, West Brom, West Ham, QPR, Newcastle, Stoke have all beaten us while Mata has played. This fantasy that we would have magically hammered Sunderland, Palace and Villa merely because of his presence is laughable.
  2. He has been slowly driving me insane all season. Im not one for sell them post's, but if we sign a new midfielder and Lamps signs a new contract (he still has a lot to offer with his game time managed correctly) then would there be any room for him? Matic, new mid (Vidal would be ideal) along with Lamps, Van Ginkel, Chalobah playing back up, with Luiz as extra cover. He is still good in certain situations, but if we get a good offer, then it's seriously worth considering.
  3. His decline started after the double for me, since then any direct winger has had him tripping over himself.
  4. Vidal and Matic would be a top top CM pairing but beyond that it will give Van Ginkel and hopfully Chalobah soon a stable platform to slowly start getting games, whether that is in 4 3 3 or in a pivot with one off them.
  5. Punishment for what? The Arsenal party? he was dropped a month and a half before that incident. Cole has been poor for years now.
  6. I said i can't see them winning the league for the forseeable future something i stick by. He didn't fail miserably at Madrid, his third season was a bit underwhelming but the first 2 he did remarkably considering the side he was up against.
  7. i read your points mate but to drunk to reply right now but will tommorow.
  8. 19th April 2014 = the day Rui Faria offically became a Chelsea legend.
  9. Carlo is in the category of good manager, along with the likes off Rafa, Scolari, Wenger. Mourinho, Fergie and Pep are special managers.
  10. Its like that in any form of football. A few years back i played six a side and in game 6 our opponent of the night's record looked like this Played 5 Lost 5 Scored 1 conceded 37, we were all planning pre match what to do when the score hit 5, 8, 10 etc, turned out we needed a last minute goal to win 1-0. I learned a harsh lesson that night, we all did.
  11. Torres is mentally weak as it is, add the emotionally charged Anfield crowd booing him will make it ten times worse. We can get by with Eto'o and Ba until the end off the season, i think both have some big moments left in them , cant say the same about Torres.
  12. I was reading another forum a week or so ago and one Liverpool fan suggested they might come unstuck at Carrow Road and the rest almost collectively laughed at him, citing their recent record vs Norwich. If the players let even an ounce off that type off complacency creep in, they are in trouble.
  13. I said in another thread that what makes them worse is the fact they try to pose as a club full off class and morals, makes me feel sick when Phil Thompson or whoever goes on about the "values" they hold as a club. Millwall are cunts, but atleast they accept that fact.
  14. Won't it just. It drives me crazy when pundits harp on about how "great" there fans are, maybe they should take a trip to Anfield as an away fan. Without doubt the most twisted, hypocrital set off morons you can come across. Every club has a section off idiots, there section is just much bigger than any others.
  15. The funny thing is, this is just the start, under Mourinho we are going to dominate English football for years.
  16. The only reason it's been debatable is because Torres cost 50m. Well that's what i guess, i can't think off any other reason.
  17. Huth got 38 games in the back to back title season's most off them being starts, not bad considering his competition. Mikel came in as a teenager and started 2 Cup final's, 17 year old Sinclair made his debut in a title decider. Jose being a youth hating maniac just isnt true when you peel down the layers. Choulo Regarding the Kalas situation, he got injured and we had a settled back 4 by the time he returned, but even then maybe if he didn't get terrorised by semi pro footballers in the middle east he would have had more game time.
  18. Last time Huth got games despite us having the 3 best CB's in the prem.
  19. If we can somehow get to the last day with our destiny in our hands, i hope to god Cardiff have nothing to play for. Can you imagine Solskjear and Fabio busting a gut to help City and Liverpool out? because i certainly can't.
  20. He has a established himself as one off the best keepers in the world, who quite possibly at the end off this season would have won everything there is to win in Spain (La Liga, CL, CDR, Europey). I hardly think he is going to go to Hull to 'prove himself in the PL' when Real Madrid would happily sign him with their eyes closed. If we were going to go down the 'test in PL' route we should have done it before we sent him to Leti.
  21. There is only 5 clubs in England that can benefit from FFP in the long run and that's United, Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Liverpool. Why any other club voted for the rule is quite frankly mindblowing, they have basically signed away any chance off ever getting to the top. A relatively big club like Spurs, Everton or Newcastle might get a Dortmund lite little period off success every now and again but long term under FFP, we have a big 5 that won't be pushed.
  22. He should be told as soon as the season ends he has no future at Chelsea and if he stays he will be seeing out his contract training alone. Infact, this should have been said in 2012 but as Beigl said better late than never.
  23. Just rewatched the Wigan game vs Le Arse up to the point Josh went off and on the ball he's sound, off it the difference between him and McCarthur was borderline cringeworthy. He needs to sort that out especially with Mourinho at the helm.
  24. We have 4 full days to prepare for Anfield, i don't think fatigue will be THAT big an issue in scouseland, the 2nd leg vs Leti will be a bigger problem in that regard. Wierd thinking if Sunderland pull off a shock draw at Eastlands it's in our hands.
  25. The thing with Rami is in his first 2 season's his work rate was appreciated more due to the fact not many off our team were putting any real shift in, especially the stagnant Anelkalouda and Drogba unless it was a big match. Now we have players (Willian for example) who put equally as good shifts in and bring superior technical ability to the table, his flaws sre a lot more frustrating and noticeable. He is still got for certain occasions, but with the emergence of the Matic-Luiz partnership, Lamps still with a couple off years in him, a new CM hopefully arriving and (i believe) the inclusion off Chalobah sooner rather than later, selling him if a decent offer comes in won't be a bad idea.
