  1. Whats funny is he declined a pen 2 months before at Birmingham when we were 2 up, yet wanted to take one off those in Munich. Whats even funnier is he wasn't even 6th, Cahill was up next had Didier missed.
  2. Unless they sign Thiago Silva, i can't see one player alone improving that defence. Agger and Skrtel are good defenders and Sakho is a top prospects, it's more the system they play. Our defence that has been so good, apart from Azpi, all off them played under AVB when we couldn't stop conceding.
  3. I don't expect the club to be happy if we miss out on silverware this term, but at the same time they will surely ad knowledge we are heading in the right direction and (with a good summer window) are on the verge of something very special once again.
  4. I have seen United win title after title, but the pain off seeing them win 10 won't be near as bad as seeing Liverpool win one. I would rather see Tottenham win the league, seriously.
  5. If Pep "only" wins 2 trophies instead off 3, does that means he has failed at Bayern this season because they won the treble last season? Was Kenny Dalglish better than Fergie in 11/12? If Pool don't win the PL this season? Did Kenny do a better job 2 years back than BR this season? The progress we have made this season has been incredible, we have spent the last 3 years floating about in a never ending transition with no real style off play, inconsistent result's, unbalanced team and a weak midfield that even shite sides over ran. Jose has layed some real foundations this season and regardless off whether we win PL, CL, both or none, he has done brilliantly balancing the team out and getting more out off the players, look at Cahill. If it weren't for Mou we would be 4th imo, that is how much a difference i believe he has made.
  6. My biggest worry is Cardiff away, for some reason, they hate us and the fans would love to deny us a title if it gets that far. Although having said that, i doubt Ole and Fabio would bust a gut to help City and/or Liverpool out (unless their in a last day relegation battle themselves) sneaky Fabio back pass to Eto'o?
  7. Actually Swansea is the one im least worried about, yes we have been dropped points before up there, but that was under Brendan reign and Laudrup's honey moon period, they have been absolute wank ever since they won the league cup and not to mention, we have came on leaps and bounds since our last trip to Wales. Arsenal and Tottenham have won twice there since the LC, we have beat them at home twice without even getting into 1st gear, heck even Moyesy's United won 4-1 in Wales. If we can't win there we don't deserve the league.
  8. In terms off raw talent he is the best to come out off our academy for some time, it's his other aspects that are letting him down. If the club gave Micheal Mancienne years and years off loans to prove himself, Josh will atleast be afforded the same chance.
  9. He has the look off a man who has just made the biggest mistake off his life.
  10. We won 7 out off 8 not long back (9 out off 10 if we count the 2 FA games), with the exception off Wet Sham which we completely dominated but it ended up 0-0, sometimes you thrash teams in general play yet still not win, it happens. 6 off our games are against the so called lesser sides, while they will make it tough, with our defence one break will be enough in most off them, despite our struggles against bus parkers, we rarely fail to score vs them. As for Anfield, i am convident Mou will outsmart Brendan for this one, Liverpool fans will point to their "amazing" atmosphere, but if we get our tactics right, keep concentration and take control, those muppets can scream as loud as they want, we will be leaving there with 3 points. 7/7 will be hard, but it is most certainly do-able.
  11. Not much has been said about this but after moaning about the money at top clubs for years while at Everton, Moyes will probably be throwing over 100m (adding to the 65 spent already in his tenure) to get United back in the top 4. How funny would it be if he spunk's it up the wall Kenny style?
  12. I think Luiz works well next to Matic, but doesn't look to good next to any one else. One injury to Matic and we are back with the same old CM problem, which is why imo we need another (i would say Witsel, but apparently him and Matic weren't that great as a partnership at Benfica).
  13. 15m would be great if we could fetch that amount for him. Matic, new signing, Lamps, Rami, MVG, Chalobah would be an awesome midfield next season.
  14. They didn't mention the fact we did the exact same thing to them at home, funny that.
  15. Not really a fan off that combo, and i still think a fresh Lamps with his game time managed correctly will produce the goods.
  16. Luiz and Matic in the prem, Rami and Lamps in the CL.
  17. This is what i said in the pre match thread for this game. ______________________________ They can't cope with being pressed high, even United done it with some degree off success a few weeks back. If we jump out off the blocks, play at 100mph and don't allow them to breath like we did to Liverpool, this could be over by halftime. ______________________________
  18. I really hope he returns i really do, but as a coach or club ambassador, a prime Drogba is what this team is missing, not a 36 year old Drogba.
  19. They can't cope with being pressed high, even United done it with some degree off success a few weeks back. If we jump out off the blocks, play at 100mph and don't allow them to breath like we did to Liverpool, this could be over by halftime.
  20. What i hope is that if we can't get rid off him we do what we did with Malouda, or even better find a loan club that will pay half his wages. It will save us 5m, which could go towards the next Azi.
  21. I still think Eto'o will get his fair share off game time, if we sign Costa and bring back Lukaku im guessing most weeks Costa will start with the other two on the bench. In some situations, where say the oppo are defending well and we need to be tactful to win the game Eto'o will come on, whereas if the oppo are commiting men forward and leaving a crazy amount off space in behind Lukaku will come on. Having Costa, Lukaku and Eto'o would give us great tactical flexibility aswell as the perfect mix of forwards, one in his prime, one young and upcoming and one who's been there and done it. Also after what Hazard has said about how Eto'o has helped him, it could only be good to have Samuel around helping Romelu.
  22. and to think, i wanted Cole back in mid December.
  23. Imagine if we got Eto'o in january 2011 instead, although he was 29 he would have done considerably more for this club than you know who.
  24. 2006 world cup year, Eto'o scores a 2nd round winner at Stamford Bridge, his team win league and CL. 2010 world cup year, Eto'o scores a 2nd round winner at Stamford Bridge, his team win league and CL. 2014 world cup year, Eto'o scores a 2nd round winner at Stamford Bridge ..............................
