I keep hearing he wants 200K wages, is there a source for this? I dont believe he'd have the audacity to ask for those kinds of wages.

He's still a beast of a defender. Another thing that he brings that can't be measured is confidence within the team. You know damn right when guys like Drogba and Terry are on the team sheet, the entire team's confidence level rises. We have already lost Drogba and can't afford to loose Terry as well. Those two have so much influence over the entire club that earlier this year, I was very very worried that Chelsea would end up like Arsenal when Drogba and Terry leave, more so Terry. A team with good players but no leaders, teams like that can win games, but you aint winning trophies. Thankfully with the emergence of guys like Luiz and Cahill I am not as worried, but the coming season is still a year too soon imo to phase out Terry. For Chelsea's sake, Terry should NEVER leave the club. Once he retires he should be part of the staff right away, you can't loose a guy like him, you loose half of your identity, half of your soul. He has an impact not only on the goals conceded but the ENTIRE club, from the youth team to the first squad.

Hopefully we get some Hulk. What a beast, but 35M is too much imo. 25M is a fair price. Considering the prices nowadays I can't believe how cheap we got Mata for lol. He was just 23 too lol.

Ramires

Looks like he'll go to United. Chelsea have a number 10 in Mata, and City have Silva. Both of those guys are among the top 3 in their teams. United have Rooney playing in that role, but he can easily move further forward and Hazard can play the number 10 role. At Chelsea and City he won't get that many games as a number 10 than he could at United. As far as our beast in the hole situation goes, Mata is first choice (duh!) and Sturridge should be his backup. If Hazard's not that happy about playing on the wings, then we should move along, we need wingers right now.

Community Shield is not a given. The other two are likely.

Torres with Mata in the hole is first choice. Lukaku with Sturridge as second striker should be 2nd choice. We get to keep the same formation and everyone plays in their best positions. Torres (Lukaku) LW (Hazard, Ramires) - Mata (Sturridge) - RW (Marin, Hulk)

Torres I can understand to an extent. When you buy Torres, you're looking at a ridiculous amount of merchandise revenue, probably one of the highest in the world after Ronaldo and Messi.

No we should keep Romeu. Mikel-Lamps with Romeu-Meireles backups. McEachran is the one that should be loaned out. Essien should leave and if not, he can be the backup to the back-ups.

Kalou is a decent squad player, but he's a player that will prevent a loss rather than get a win. We need more quality up front. The role Kalou has played for the club, Ramires can easily play that and better due to his versatility. If we do buy 2 wingers, then Ramires essentially gets relegated to the bench cause he isn't a holding player, so he'll probably get games when we intend to shut up opposition wings and counter. That said, great servant for the club and the ultimate professional. He's still young and can accomplish a lot more in the future.

I think this guy is being incredibly overhyped. At this point in his career, he has no place at all on Chelsea. That said he does have a lot of potential but 32M for potential is way too much. We need immediate reinforcements.

I think he runs the most every game. Even more than Ramires. Pretty amazing. Now, if we could move the ball even quicker and be a more attacking force then his influence could get DOUBLED.

Yeah, this year now that we are after real wingers, I'm hoping him and Torres split the striker position. Sturridge can play as a second striker too. Either way I just hope he stays in the center, he's not a winger. Should never play on the wings anymore.

There are 2 options for him really. Money or playing time. If he wants money, then he will choose City. If he wants regular playing time then he will choose Chelsea. I think United are a definitive no, because like us they only offer playing time but I'm sure we also offer a little more money. Also, playing time at United might be a lot but still probably less than Chelsea cause United already have enough wingers. It's Chelsea or City.
